How about this lrg theme. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1784715
If your in rooted stock rom just delete the systemui.odex in the system/apk. It says their in the thread.
I never tried it in rooted stock but in lrg custom rom called alba v3 and it works great no problem at all.
Thanks but i already have my own theme and i want to make the notifications transparent and this is done with the xml files hence why i need a decompiled systemui

you need to put the .apk in system/app mounting system (using root explorer e.g.) and setting the correct permissions in both apps and then reboot your device
sorry but it did not work
anybody?
Try deodexing the whole rom from which the keyboard came from and then copy the apk

Did you build a Custom Rom with a kitchen and installed this?
Or did you deodex only single apps from system and framework and push it onto a stock Rom?
Please tell us what you exactly did, maybe then it gets clear what you did (and what you wanted to do).
I used tools from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=633246 for deodex app
i only deodex system/app and system/framework.then I make .zip for flashable onto stock rom.
how to deodex app for galaxy note?
why setting app is missing?
could you guide me?
i come from optimus black/xperia v/optimus 4xhd user.
ps. I use stock rom of thailand
Use the kitchen for making a complete Rom. Not only some tools for deodexing some apk. Your approach won't work.

Easiest way is to cut all the apks from preload and paste to system/app then do you deodexing. Settings apk is located in preload on stock roms so thats why its missing for you. If you keep it in preload you need symlinks in system/app so that the system can find the apk
I already sy link all apk in preloaded

I'm running bare bean - bare essentials ROM ...touchwizz ROM
I am missing snote. I really use it. I have tried other snote apps tried pushing flashing ..no luck. Please help.
Hope I posted in the correct forum.

Copy the apk file for the SNote from the stock rom and install it in yours, or flash a ROM like ultimate Jellybean and you'll get SNote with the ROM.
Problem is I love my current ROM...I have flashed the note8 snote flashable zip...but it doesn't show up in the app drawer..anyone with some help
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
Mate copy the SNote app (.apk file) from the stock ROM to the bare bean ROM in /system/apps ans set the permission to rw-r-r and it will be there in the ROM as a system app. This only if the ROM you're using is a touchwiz ROM. Follow this and it surely will be in the apps. Click thanks if i helped.
Hi guys, I was wondering if it would be possible to change the icons from stock gingerbread to the icons of the S3, using something like APK tool or root explorer? Is it just a case of finding the PNG's in the stock firmware, deleting them, then pasting the new S3 PNG's in their place?
try searching for this keyname in search box SGS IV- theme V3.zip its theme for GB full with all u wanted, i only got da zip file and i cant upload it.

One way of doing this is to either flash in MesoRom or Saurom and then flash in the SIII mod made for those roms.
Or if you don't want to flash in a new rom, Ninjamorph on the Play Store lets you do the same thing- but bear in mind you need te pngs at the right size and everything beforehand, plus everthing is manual.
