[Q] WLAN and Bluetooth error - LG Optimus Black

Hi, my cat managed to drop my phone from the table. screen was black. I removed the battery and restarted the phone. now I'm no longer able to activate my WLAN. It shows activating then error. same with Bluetooth. I'm on Zeus 7.02. reinstalling after a full wipe did not solve my issue. can anybody help me or do I have to install v10a and send it back to lg?

the same problem i have with bluetooth, i can't detect nothing, computer see it but when i try to connect tell me that phone is not in range, and other thing, is i can't use my bluetooth headset anymore.
there is a posibility to make something a test of bluetooth?

Did you try using a stock ROM flashed from Smart Flash Tool? If the problem persists then it's hardware related and you have to send it in for repairs. You might have to pay for your service since they might not do it under warranty if it was dropped.

ier overtixp
i made a full wipe and after that again with a reflash, now works fine
thanks

My phone cant detect any wifi too, my other phone can.

Did a full wipe and restocked. Did not fix the prob. I sent it back

[Q] Problems with WIFI, failure to initialize

Hi
Just yesterday i started having trouble with nmy wifi...
When activating it it fails to engage...
Im on v10c 0606, anyone else had this problem?
To rectify i have to restart the phone. then it works until i turn wifi off again..
I occasionally have the same problem, and yet to find a solution. I just put it down to LG's crappy software and general incompetence. Hopefully an update will fix it, if we ever get one.
Me too. The WiFi wouldn't initialize and if I went to WiFi settings, the message 'Error' was under the enabled check-box. Only reboot helped.
I've been having the same problems since a couple of weeks after I got the phone, I even tried a reset and didn't install any apps, but it didn't help. After about 2 days of "uptime" my wifi stops working, have to turn phone off and on again to get it working. I got the C upgrade yesterday, it's still working, I guess I will get the answer over the weekend.
You got the 622 update?

I installed to 10c 622 upgrade yesterday, got it with the upgrade option on the phone. I bught my phone without subscription from Elkjøp, and have Telenor business.

[Q] Sudden GPS problem - hardware or software?

Hi,
did a search, and couldn't find anything quite like my issue.
I have a "SIM free" GT-P1000 on stock firmware 2.3.3 build GINGERBREAD.XWJP9. 11 months old and not rooted. Until recently my GPS was operating solidly.
For about the last week GPS only works outside (and that's now a little flaky) - when it's in the screen mount in my car the GPS icon in the status bar flashes, and GPS status either shows no GPS at all, or 0/n fix/sats.
Previously, GPS has worked fine both in the car, and would usually get a fix in the house.
Just before this I'd connected the tab to Kies on the PC but there were no updates (I think the only update I've ever got from Kies was 2.2 -> 2.3). The tab got itself confused when I disconnected from Kies, and complained about USB connection when I plugged it into the car charger, and that may have coincided with the start of the problem.
Following this I did a Factory data reset, and re-installed my apps from scratch. I didn't restore anything from backups, though I did allow the "Privacy / Automatic restore" option.
Didn't help - I still have exactly the same issue.
Does this sound like a hardware issue, or could there still be something after the factory reset that is a software issue? Note that I did re-install 35-40 apps after the reset.
Any hints for me to try? I think I may have a month or so of warranty left if it's a hardware problem.
Thanks for any help.
Cheers, Martin
Just a suggestion, restock and flash overcome custom rom.

Thanks. Restock = re-install the stock ROM?
I checked the encyclopedia and the wiki (and the first several pages of the search for "restock") and the general Android sections and can find neither a definition nor instructions for restocking.
Do you have a link to instructions for that?
I also need to check if I have the option to RMA this for a new one.
cheers, Martin
PS I'm on stock ROM at the moment.
When I was on overcome, I couldn't get satellite fix, even after applying whatever patch or entering special codes, until I use sim card with data.
It was suggested to me.
Our tab uses agps. It seems to need sim card to get guidance.
I was trying with wifi, didn't work. Pocket wifi hotspots also not helping.

Thanks - my SIM does have data.
cheers, Martin
Get one that does, even prepaid, to rule out hardware issue.

Wifi not working?

Having quite a huge problem here. My wifi won't connect to any network. Most of the time settings just FC on me. I'm on temasek 135.1 atm. Tried all the CM7 kernels out there, as well as 5-10 different bb/ril combinations. Anyone have any idea how to solve this problem or is it that my wifi really is gone for good?

First, make a NANDROID BACKUP before doing anything...
Maybe you can try a Wifi Fixer like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...mNvbS5icmlsbGlhcHBzLndpZmlhbmRtb3JlZml4ZXIiXQ..
If it doesn't work, just reflash the rom with the 3 Wipes (Cache, Dalvik-Cache and Battery Stats)
NO need to Format System/Data
Give us feedback.
Wifi-fix did not work.
I have flashed 10+ different roms trying to solve my problem, all with full wipe ofc. Nothing seems to work.
Maybe a nvflash will help?
Anyone else with this problem?

First time I heard that
Try to reinstall the stock firmware and see if it works...maybe your wireless card is broiled??
Trying NVflash atm. Not working, still no WiFi.
Think my WiFi is gone for good.
Just getting error msg in settings when I try to connetct.
Boring, but this just forces me to get a new phone. No more LG crap.
Does the Wifi settings screen still show anything going on?
E.g. "Error" or continuously "Obtaining IP address"?
As far as I know when it shows "Error" it may either have crashed due to being out of memory, or because you need to wipe cache/dalvik cache.
I once had a problem that it would continuously show "Obtaining IP address" on each and every access point.
Got that fixed by no longer explicitly using an alternate DNS (OpenDNS, Google DNS) with the Set DNS app.
Once also got my ZyXEL wifi router messing up things. But that got resolved by rebooting the router.
Only get the error message or FC. Wifi fixer says invalid.
Anyone know a way to fix this?

Xperia T data problem.

1) My phone has a problem where i find that it has got no data connection despite having data enabled. During this time i cant receive calls, texts and data connection.
2) Also I have another issue where it shows i have no signal but i have connection (See attached image).
Note: WiFi was turned on but not connected to router. Picture clearly shows i was connected online on steam. I could also browse on chrome etc.
Any ideas what's wrong? is it firmware or a defect in my XT?
Edit: Im on stock firmware. 3 branding.
Have you got the correct APN added and selected?
Maybe your just losing signal?

Think I have some signal problems too. Sometimes I have 0 lines but the service is there. I'm on Orange too ( Romania).
I'm on last firmware found on sonymobile.com. I hope it's something firmware/software related.
I had the same issue with my ARC S but touch wood havent had this issue with my Xperia T after a month of use.

For me it happens more on the .195 software then the .303
Ill try dig out more info, maybe I or soneone can solve it.

the problem is not the hardware you connect to the wifi and data connection that primarily have something blocking spam, viruses, etc. Format the internal memory and SD card backups take the both of them from the link above and then download the firmware update installation settings, make backups of your data and try to connect to the wifi waiting for the outcome of

Is her phone rooted now? If so to unroot it swap the su binary from a non rooted version of stock, it is located in system/xbin. I'm guessing you know how to reset by going to recovery, its v up and power. Or the easy way in my opinion is to reflash the stock ROM.
