Liquid Smooth RC3 and ROM Toolbox Pro - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everybody. This morning I have installed ROM toolbox pro on my liquudsmooth ROM (for who doesn't know this ROM is cm10/aokp based) but it does not work. It opens in a black screen and then crashes. Anyone has this problem on any Jelly Bean ROM?

Need help (Clean 2.3.4 based ROM)

I really need a super clean ROM based on official gingerbread 2.3.4 with black and white theme. Or at least a minimal black and theme that works on official 2.3.4 JVP !
Anyone help me ?
PS: After installing the ROM what else should I do ? (Kernel, lagfix, update, themes and ...)
Juwe has a black and white theme.
After installing you don't have to do anything, but you can enable lagfix and flash another kernel.

Where can I find the ROM and how can I enable lagfix ?
You can find the ROM in the i9000-dev-section.
Two possibilities for enabling lagfix:
-there's an app in the app drawer called 'ext4'
- in CWM 'lagfix options'

Roms that keep apps open

I've yet to find a rom that doesn't kill an app when I exit using the home button. For example, if I close opera mini to read a text when I go back to it it will start from thr beginning. What roms have good performance and can multitask?

Any ICS rom will do that for sure...
I'm using this days Dark Knight 4.0.4 v2.1 and it's great...
Most of ICS ROMs do this, and also you could control of your rom multitasking behavior by limited the background services or kill any app in background immediately.
To do that in ICS ROM, go to setting>developer options>apps

yes but all Rom ICS are not yet stable
Try codename android ics: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1485734. I think its the most stable ICS rom so far, and it keeps apps in background well.
ICS Rom not stable, yes but will work fine for daily use with some little bugs.
Here is some ROMs that stable:
ICSSGS 4.2 - kernel devil or semaphore
AOPK #23 - kernel semaphore.

Known bugs in ics333
1-Camera FC when restoring default settings
2- Phone app FC if Bluetooth is disconnected while the phone is trying to connect to a Bluetooth headset
so cm9 is still better than ics333 with same huge ram if you changed the kernel from stock to semaphore 1.2.2s as i did 387 mb ram
so choose from those two amazing ICS ROMS for gs gt-I9000
Well it's not FC in camera it calls restart man....... any way.....

best ROM for until now is Slim ICS, but i wanna try RemICS too
Well to be presise there is no best ROM on any device. You need to chose the one that will suit you the best.
For me it's:
[ROM][4.0.4] RemICS v1.2 (Team Remics) [17.06.2012]
and Kernel.
[KERNEL] Semaphore ICS 1.2.2 (1.2.4)
Work's best for me
I'm using aokp build 39 and it runs great!
But like others have said it depends in what you want.
Download goo.im from the app store to see a list.
Good luck

I think the best rom (ICS) is the RemICS UX
hey if u you want the best, smooth and no bug rom..then u should go for remics v1.2..its the best rom that i have tried so far..trust me its amazing

Remics' is the fastest and most stable ROM I've tried to date
The dev team have done a good job on that one
I'm on ics CNA rc2.0 by franzyroy since 2 months and i don't have bugs.the ROM is very smooth,no lags, no FC, good battery life
Best ROM
For me, TiramiSlim has always been a favorite. The FINAL version is out and am on it, has good battery life and no FCs in 2 days.
Elite ROMs are also really great.
remICS v1.2
RemICS !!!!
Elite Gnex 1.4.1!!! Grate. fast and smooth.
RemICS 1.2
Bro ! After trying so many roms I have finally found a good one.
F4K ICS.

are you sure that this is the right rom for me?
Hi,
The reference in 4.2.2 is CM10.1 of pawitp
The Helly bean of DerTeufel1980 is based on CM10.1 with more options or the Rom of franzyroy that offers a custom installation (slim or helly at the first + what you want in the choices it offers)
Personally, no worries about the rom of franzyroy with games ... and no worries at all !
here, if you want to try it --> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1701231
I have to say that anything made by Aways is awesome. I'm currently on Xylon 2.1.1.
Expect bugs and glitches on 4.2 its still under development but if you want a more stable rom, go for 4.1
