Hi
I need your help to fix one big issue of network on CM10, and hope you could do something. I want to extract a baseband from a ROM using baseband 1035.23_20110707, but I don't know which file I should take, and convert to .fls to flash after.
Thanks in advance !

Baseband isn't in a flashable .zip file it's only flashed using SFT. If network isn't working then it's probably a problem in the RIL. Which is /lib/lge-ril.so (theres many other files also related to networking but most problems come from having incorrect RIL.)

Exactly, my RIL and my baseband were not matched, so this is why I would flash new baseband, because I can change my RIL with GetRil. So there is no file corresponding to the baseband in a ROM .zip ?

Hello,
After an update via recovery to another firmware, I discovered that i made a big mistake. I updated my Galaxy Ace S5830m to another baseband which caused it to not detect any signal or carrier.
Please I need the baseband (modem) flash file to recover it. The baseband file number is S5830mwhla1.
I wish that anybody serves me as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance.

Hy, I am new in here as well as android user. I am using su660 in Bangladesh. While fixing the ad-hoc wifi problem, I replaced the original wpa_supplicant & wpa_supplicant.conf unfortunately. Since then I can't turn on wifi rather it shows error. The directory of these two files are follows :
1) data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
2) system/bin/wpa_supplicant
Please solve my problem. How can I get the original files or how can i get remedy from that.
Noted: Phone is rooted & operating in android 2.3.4
use adb logcat to check the msg , and find out what cause your problem.
and you can extract the files from official ROM .....

fls and bin files usually are destined to work with Smartflash.

I second chupi_24 and also recommend josebuenavetura's guide for su660 users. Link is here:

thx everybody. I have solved my problem using the upper link (aragorn's link).
I've been having call problems and I believe it's related to the baseband. How can I change it?. I'm not sure if there was a tutorial about this, but I can't seem to find it.

BASEBAND Flasher!
This pack contains the .fls file of V30B GER, but the baseband is the same in all versions AFAIK, so you all should be able to use it. And also included is the SmartFlashTool.
