[ROM] Slick2X-G V5.0 kang android 2.3.5 Honeycomb themed THE END!

Hi All,
This is my daily used rom wich i modified to my own needs.
Just wanted to share this with others, and maybe after flashing you'll like it too.
Make sure you do a FULL WIPE when you install this rom for the first time. Updates kan be flashed over current releases.
First i have to say one more thing; I'm not a developer, i only try to create my personal roms, and share them with others.

I think it's about the same as every other MCR based rom.

This one is called rudolf I think it looks pretty the same, but there are some differences with some pop up windows i believe...

Think u should save them as google contacts then u have them for ever(.Even if ure house burns down with phone and pc in it they will still be saved).

highly recommended to charge your cell phone at least 90% to prevent failure during flashing process..
This is based on maclaw's cm9 build, so dont ask about camera and FMRadio

Just one question :- Does transparent status bar themes work perfectly as in MIUI GB there is an black box at corner.

i think no black box at corner, but you can try it buddy

Well actually I am busy right now and will only try if someone comfirms that there is no black box if change statusbar bar theme to some transparent one.

yup, you can use hdpi themes. no big lockscreen again
and about extended setting, app drawer still not fit for ldpi screen
may be i will resize app drawer on next update

I have tried it. .
Sometimes it's stuck app and need reboot.
The others are smooth and beautiful

Is this rom meant for the GT-S5570 only?

so far i found following bugs:
-got to do good ol' trick to make themes work (create "themes" folder in /data/system)
-some iconpacks make icons look misplaced (like they are higher or lower than they should be)
-glitches in gallery (it might happened because i set gpu rendering for 2d)
-wifi have low signal even if i'm half meter from router
other things:
-restart to apply changes in extended settings (that seems normal to me)
-can't apply statusbar and home theme
waiting patiently for next release

i don't need restart when i make some change on extended setting
and if you want to change hotseat background and folder icon on home you must use miuiv4 theme, not work if you use gb theme
some screenshot in attachment when i use another theme for v4

Has someone tried this? I don't get what's the deal with the bootanimation, its not a flashable file and if I extract it there are just a bunch of images inside, nothing I can push in the booting folder...

Go to system/media and replace the default zip bootanimation by the one you want. :good:

[ROM] [JB 4.1.2][XXLSC] Barebone 240dpi JellyBean TouchWiz [V2 is up again !!!]

Finally i've decided to make a ROM completely for 240dpi instead of adding apps and people asking for how to's and where to's
This is for all the people preferring to stay with Touchwiz but want to use at 240dpi.
Rom features:
PhilZ kernel 3.73
Bare minimum, many of samsung apps and widgets removed...
All the apps are 240dpi.

Multiwindow Hack for UNLIMITED apps
few tweaks from Ultimate rom V5.1
Statusbar transparent with toggles in blue and blue circle battery indicator
Clock app from Android 4.2 ( Clockpackage.apk has been removed since it takes more space and 240dpi mod is not yet done)
'accuweather.com' has been removed from lockscreen, widgets ets...
Full ripple effect and ink effect (Thanks to Robbie Hood)
TW Launcher has 9 screens and auto rotates...
Awesome beats installer is added, install if needed.
Snote, airview are working fine.
added CRT-OFF, but it doesn't work everytime
email is patched to remove exchange security.
S-voice added.
You'll still get 150mb of free space in system/app.

This ROM is from ULTIMATE V5.1 and i've still kept the rom's Name same with adding a line.

I've modded the zip file after upload, so it won't match...(added few missing files for future upload)
you can just open it with winrar, if there is an error it will popup...

is there OTA updation???

Looks good so far. Just built it up and re-installed all my chit. Got a 4576 Quadrant. We'll let it run for a few days and give it time to settle down and try again. No bugs noticed.

Install Instructions​please readcarefully​
If your currenty using a custom rom before installing this rom I suggest that you flash the stock rom using "Odin" or restore your nandroid backup..oh use xxlf5 fimware for this..
Do a full wipe.. wipe data.. wipe cache.. wipe dalvik cache.. you know these..
now you should use CWM to flash it .. i suggest you use vm00's heres the link to his thread.. i hope you know how to install zip using CWM.. hehe
Wait for it to finish installation.. then reboot.."first boot may take up to 10mins so just wait "

known bugs..
on the power menu.. reboot to download mode dosnt work.. it will only reboot.. and reboot option there also dosnt work for now it will only shut the phone off but not fully shut down..
thats it.. only that is known bug..
So just use the download option there to reboot whats important is hot reboot works..hehe
One last thing incase your status bar gets stuck.. just open settings then choose rom mods tab.. then choose dev tools.. then click on media scanner.. thats it

Another new custom ROM for GPocket! Thank you! I'll try this! I'll wrote if I explored this ROM lol Btw, nice looking status bar! I really loved the one battery bar look like of the real 4.2 JB status bar ^_^

Hi. Dont work for me.
Block in boot. Black screen for 30 minutes.
Try 2 install. Always same and yes for future question i have wipe all that can done. Battery wipe too
Any ideas?
