My P970 is bootlooping after a bad framework mod...
I need to boot into CWM with the combo keys power/vol/home but i don't remember how...
Help please, i don't wanna factory reflash...
Look into my noob how to, you got two possibilities. Either fire the hard keys, until CMW pops up, or set up adb, and do a adb reboot recovery.

Let me explain:
Connect your device through USB.
Download it then DON'T flash the recovery... instead just click reboot-recovery.cmd (reboot-recovery). It will work on soft bricked situations.
This is what I use when testing ROMS. QtADB too is handy and can boot into recovery while in bootloop with single clicks, has logcat, can transfer/push files in system and SD.

I can only see LG logo, and about 2 seconds of the bootanimation... Is that enough for adb recovery ?
I prefer to boot with the power vol softkey combo, easier for me (i'm on a train lol, i have time to reflash lol)
This power vol solfkey combo, what do you mean with it? I never heard of it... I only know the possibility to fire any hard key, as long as softkeys are flashing, and then when you are lucky, you ll reboot to recovery as well, but I hope you get it solved anyway
depend on your rom. what rom that you use?
stock rom (by default) doesn't have key combo to enter recovery except you had flashed eRecovery
Nova Rom and Zeus Rom have eRecovery. CM7 has PBR
Just flashed Marvel Rom before crash... And Marvel does NOT have option in power off menu to reboot in recovery... So now, i don't have (e)recovery ?
I can confirm, with Zeus, i tested i could boot in recovery with phone powered off

Back to home, tested directly ADB, all wiped and Marvel reflash !
I'll try later "G" key for recovery, the only key i've never used in this phone !

You dont need to use G key, you can also use Vol keys. Just repeatedly press them. DONT HOLD them, but turn it on the device and then start to repeatedly press any hard key. This will allows you to reboot to recovery.
Its not possible in adb recovery reboot

adb reboot recovery only works with CWM installed. Otherwise youll get a factory reset. But you could have read about that in my noob how to

I have JW4 2.3.6 Value Pack Stock(ODEX) with ROOT(not the CWM)
Maybe someone knows where find or maybe someone will make an extended power menu with added Restart function.. others, such as recovery and download mode, are not interested. Also changed batteries and so on. Only one added element in the power menu!

When in recovery use the on/off button to select and volume to navigate

My Samsung Galaxy S i9000 have a broken home button, and i was wondering if there are any way of installing a custom recovery, preferably a touch recovery or any other recovery that the confirmation button isn´t the home button.
Ps: All the other buttons are working.

After a little of research, and trial and error, i found out that flashing, through Odin, CF-Root (with CWM Recovery) (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108) over my stock room, was the answer for me, the confirm button is the power button so it's all good.

how did you fet into the Download mode with broken mennu ??

Help! Before I flash custom ROM (SGSII ROM) I wiped everything. And after that, I'm disappointed with that ROM and plan to try others. Afterwards, I want to install MindCR ROM and I wiped everything even pressed format /system. And the PROBLEM NOW IS: Ca'nt flash everything using CWM (refuses to install anything) and can't go to ODIN MODE. HELP HELP! (((

Is MindCR ROM for GT-S5830? I believe its for GT-S5830i. Its not compatible for GT-S5830 Ace dude. Anyways, try entering Download Mode by pressing & holding Volume Up, Volume Down & Power Button simultaneously. This will take you to the Download Mode. If its GT-S5830 then enter Download Mode by pressing & holding Volume Down, Home Button(Center Key in our Ace) & Power Button simultaneously. Release your fingers only when you see Downloading Mode in your Phone
