You can find in in my signature too.
stictly follow instruction, it is easy
So I needed to send my N1 back to Amazon because the lock/power button is damaged and jammed in.
I'm going to send it into Amazon for a replacement, would I need to erase the CM7 rom?
also would/should I lock the bootloader???
I'm still within the 30 return day thingy so I can return it if I'm "not satisfied."
Thoughts?
How do you lock the bootloader again? Sry it cant be undone
Sent from my Nexus One using Tapatalk
I don't know if this is correct for the Nexus but you can re-lock the boot loader by adb. And do this command.
Fastboot OEM lock.
And see what happens. Worked for me with the evo design when I needed to lock it up to get it repaired.

Uhm.. regarding the the bootloader.. Once you unlock it, THERE'S NO WAY TO LOCK IT!
It was just a question. Chill out. Were obviously not experts of the Nexus One. And my response was just a suggestion.

not a definitive how to, and is over my head--but may help if you are tech enough
Well Amazon says they don't care since I'm within the 30days, PLUS, since Amazon is hella nice, they said they'll send me another one with free one day shipping (comes Wednesday 25 Jan, 2012)! And when I receive it, I just need to send my damaged one back to them in the box my new one comes in. They are nice.
But does anyone have a link to the stock OS files to flash?
my phone model is GWK74. Running Cm7.1 Stable.

Download this and rename it passimg.zip, and place it in the root of your sdcard. Enter the bootloader and flash it: http://db.tt/81vKk41h
Now download this and rename it update.zip and place it in the root of your sdcard. After flashing passimg, enter the recovery and flash update.zip: http://db.tt/w5zj2dOa

Hey DR, good to hear from you. Sorry, I had to cut out last nite, early work day. Yes, with Engineering HBoot you can relock. But, I haven't researced the exact steps--not really interested.
Glad OP is getting it worked out--
Been Looking for these since softbricking after the OTA update.
I recovered to quasi-usable with the MI9 PIT. However my PDA and CSC are now stuck at MI9.
Can't roll back to MI9 via oneclick, so I'm hoping someone has them and would like to share. Because they're obviously intrinsically awesome.
Looking for:
N900AUCUBMJ5 Firmwares.
All would be nice but I'm specifically interested in:
CSC
PDA
PIT
Thanks
I'm in the same boat. Is there anybody out there with a rooted updated(MJ5) ATT N3 that could try the method in this link and upload the files? Please?

Trying to flash a knoxraid using its meathods i wiped my system in SS recovery and wasnt suposed to reboot , so i lost SS recovery and my system and haven't found a solution that dont failed and i have a note 3 laying around i cant use and i dont know what to do ...
SS is still there. You need to flash the 'togetsafestrap' files in Odin to be able to boot it.
However, you are at the point of needing to flash the MLG AP, BL, and CP files in Odin to get the ROM to boot.

Well as promised here is the stock, deodexed, zipaligned, carrier IQ free T-Mobile D95910C ROM. I have not tested this on my phone so at this point this is for Developers to use as a base for ROMs, mods, themes, etc. Having said that feel free to use this in your projects, there is no need to ask for approval (but a shout out in the credits would be appreciated).
Non-developers, I am not going to provide instructions on how to adb push this as I think it's to risky for inexperienced users. As soon as we get a recovery I'll make sure the zip flashes correctly and add a download for the stock kernel and modem. Let the development begin.

how would i go about flashing this??? Ive managed to put my phone into a bootloop from modding the LCD Density, and now I cant get booted into Android to accept any RSA fingerprints, and the LG Flash Tool keeps failing at 4 percent when I attempt to return to stock
Honestly without being able too boot into the system I'm not sure if you can adb push. I suggest working on the lg flash tool

Have a free thanks. Two things, first, I honestly have no idea if different variants can flash other ROMs. Second, this is a pure stock, fully bloated, and untested ROM because tmobile doesn't have a recovery yet so it's no what you're wanting anyways. I am working on a full ROM, but us tmobile need a recovery first.

Honestly I don't know. It's just the /system partition with NO kernel or modem so you can try it and worse case just lgflash to stock. However like I said without a recovery you will need to adb install, but I'm not going to post those instructions so you'll need to google it

I can be a guinea pig. I have the t-mobile variant and i messed up my gapps so bad that i can't use my device. I can follow directions if someone with more knowledge than myself could explain how to flash this.
I'm seeing a lot of people wanting to flash this so I'm going to flash my device using adb (well kind of). If it works I'll post directions. You will need to have your phone booted up so if it's bricked lgflash it back to life

So not to be persistant but I do believe there is now a way to ADB push CWM (unofficial) on this device and if I flash this is there a specific bootloader that Att has that might kill my device. I use tmobile like I stated before but I got my hands on an Att G Flex and really want to get Wifi Calling to work.
---------- Post added at 07:44 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:43 PM ----------
Also if there is no Kernal or Modem would wifi calling even work without the TMO Kernal?
Honestly if you flash this and it doesn't work all you will have to do is lgflash to stock and you'll be fine. Also, in not sure about LG but on Samsung you couldn't use the T-Mobile kernel and modem in an att phone, but Wi-Fi calling still worked when using just a T-Mobile ROM.
Having said that this zip will not flash at this time. I had made it for developers and messed up the zip itself. I'll be redoing it so it's flash able, but I just spent15hours flying and didn't mess with that. I was actually working in native Wi-Fi tethering, by honestly fighting the zip will be easy. Now in not sure where you see a recovery for att, do to mind linking it for me. I've tested a couple things for others, but so fat nothing that works so would live to see what's working. I'd love to do adb pushing all my tests

Gotcha, yes it should work for other international variants. Unfortunately all the US models have a locked bootloader so we can't simply install a recovery right now. There are people with much more knowledge then me working in getting us a recovery, but it's a lot if work so it could be a while. Ill keep looking into possible temp fixes in the meantime.

Actually that was something else I was working on, sorry if I didn't make that clear. This zip isn't flashable at all. I was helping someone else with something today so didn't get a chance, but all I need to do is add the META folder and reupload (after I test it so it'll be Thursdayish). This is completely deodexed so it should be fine.
first of all this zimage hasn't been test!!!
i made this kernel with little knowledge following couple of tutorials and thanks to OhHeyItsLou !!
remember if you gonna try this kernel remember it has not been tested and til i figure it out it probably wont be tested for knob ppl.
If you are going to try it and or you are a DEV "which i think you might know how to work this out" "flashing" please be free to do.
once again i wont leave instructions on how to flash it because i havent figure out yet how to do it!!
THATS WHY I RATHER SEE A DEV USING THIS OR HELP ME WITH FLASHING THIS ON MY OWN DEVICE
Be free to contact me on any questions
flash it at you own risk ! Which we all know while flashing anything can go wrong!
unzip file and you would get the zImage.
V1 ! toolchain 4.6 from google
nothing special just a kk kernel hoping to help with cm11 ~!

It won't flash in custom recovery because it's missing the "meta-inf" folder with the update-binary, etc. I'll try and write one tonight when I get home from work. Which will be around midnight central time.
I've got a meta-inf folder made and I've 're zipped it. Is this based on aosp or stock. Do I need to flash with my stock Rom or try with cm11
This die? Far as i can tell we need a kernel dev?
I downloaded zlmage_bumped.zip listed in first post and flashed it using flashify apk downloaded from Google play. Seems to have successfully flashed! My device is T-Mobile D959 running kit Kat 4.4.2 D95920h.
Did it really work?
