This is a LITE rom for those who want a ROM with all the HTC bloat removed..and you can customize is ur own way..use ur choice of launcher, homescreen, apps no need to stick with Sense. And don't forget to check the attachments.

On some popular demand i decided to bring out this LITE rom.. Its almost stock Android with lots of Bloat removed.
FLASHING::
1> Always remember its great to have backup (SD and ROM-use Nandroid)
2> Download the zip file .. copy it to to root of your SD card and flash it from recovery.
3> Let the first boot take place.
4> Reboot
5> customize as per your needs ..download ROMmanager and parition your SD with EXT partition (Recommended settings for a 2gb SD= Swap=0, Ext=256, rest=Fat32).
6> Reboot and DONE
APN Settings ::You can check for your APN settings HERE and
Edit them Manually APN-Settings can be found under ::
Settings > Wireless > Mobile Networks >Access Points.
By pressing the menu key you can add a new APN.

this is test build so it does not include that but if tests go well i will release one by the evening.. . so test it as soon as possible

Nope this is LITE ROM users are free to choose wht they want... ROMmanager will come in next Vibes release.. not in this LITE one..
You cant get it from Market why ?? ask ur ROM chef to help..

Working smoothly so far. Have tried market, internet XDA app and OsmAnd. Launcherpro working great. Is there no way to get vanilla lock screen or are we stuck with HTC's effort? It really doesn't look so hot on the small screen.

It's a pay app but Goto is really nice if you go in and 'disable' the HTC lockscreen. The HTC lockscreen is lagging down the Goto lockscreen if it is still working , by disabling it Goto can work its magic, and it is much nicer.
I renamed the HTC lockscreen .apk to .bak, hence disabling it, if you know how to do this it shouldn't be a problem for you to do it , if you don't , i suggest you don't try it cause getting back could be troublesome.

I will try to add a free one in next but infact i want to keep it as clean as possible.. now i will remove even the leftover Bloat in next release.

Yeah i am all for removing bloat. And now that i am reading it again , a better solution than adding a free one would be to get the standard android one to work as it is clearly there in some form.
Flashed v2, booted okay but not connecting to mobile network? happened with the other versions of your roms too, am i doing something wrong? always do a data and cache wipe before flashing.

My fault i misplaced that apns file.. i can fix that in next rom .. or u can try one thing not sure if it wil work.. but should be done before flashing..use Winrar for following steps..
open the Lite rom file u have downloaded with winrar:>> go to>>System>>framework>>framework-res.apk>>res>>xml>>delete apns.xml.
Now extract apns.xml from apns.zip attached here. drag and drop the file given here in this attachment into the window where u deleted apns.xml from. In winrar change the dropdown menu from normal to store. and accept to update archive.
Now ur ROM is ready to be flashed..without APN problem.

This version is really fast. Just regret that I can't remove sh*** like taskiller or the buggy lockscreen.
I think you should not ad anything in order to stay in the "lite version" mind.

have you rebooted after install? if yes, try a full wipe. and be sure to have the LATEST radio. otherwise no gingerbread for you..

When you get a minute can you check something in clockwork on your IS.
I think it may be a bug in the DS but whenever i use the format cache command in edify (yes it is typed correctly lol) the recovery doesnt flash the zip but instead aborts installation with a status 1 error code.

Hey guys i love the Darky's theme but am having problems installing themes I have tried to install the WP7 theme but was unsuccessful 1. because the instructions are so goddam hard to follow 2. because i couldn't find certain settings in apps and 3. because i don't think it installed properly. If someone could give me an alternate guide for that i'd appreciate it. If not can someone link me to a database for all themes that are compatible with Darky's ROM I know about the directory and i tried the crysis revolution theme but it just froze my phone at the boot screen :/ Please noone complaining about me double posting or whatever because i have searched ALOT and have been unsuccessful.

I released my Dark Market last week and since then, I've been making my apps Transparent.. I have Facebook 1.6.4, Gmail 2.3.5 and Dropox 1.2.4 released so far and I'm working on Gtalk 1.3 (chat menu is difficult) and now I have the newest Market done... I'm making a new thread for it since my Dark Market thread is already full of the color choices, too... The 2 methods for this are update.zip that you simply flash in recovery.. If you're on a phone that requires you to mount/system first, then do it... The other method is just a signed apk that you can install and push to system and rename...
1. Check in system/app and make sure you're Market is named Vending.apk.. If it's com.android.vending.apk then you should rename it Vending.apk and reboot.. then flash the update.zip
2. Check the name like in #1 but delete any signs of Vending.apk from system/app, data/app, and data/data... reboot... then install the signed apk.. it should install to data since it's not replacing another themed market so move it to system/app and rename it and make sure the permissions are r/w/r/r.. reboot... that should make it work fine...
3. If you've ran my Dark Markets, you already know that there are some roms that have an issue buying apps.. I've been running tests and it appears that the certs.files are the cause of this but we're not sure why.. I originally tested my Market on Chevy's SS 5.5 for the D1 and it errored on buying an app.. I restored a Liquid Rom nandroid and flashed my market and everything was perfect... same with my Project Elite nandroid.. I, then, used rujelus22's update.zip that he has for his market and on SS 5.5 it allowed me to buy apps but it fc'd on updating apps... so I understand it sucks when you install a themed apk that doesn't work on your phone and I apolize for this.. but I AM working on figuring out 'why' this is happening and 'how' we can fix it.. many roms are fine tho and you can buy apps and update apps.. I tested it on a Fascinate running JT's Vanilla GB rom, on my D1 running LGB 2.6 and PE 6.5 and I had no issues at all..

ZeusTweaker is only a interface, so the ROM base is Zeus ROM in order to get working.
AFAIK nobody had asked me for permission to use the ROM as a base for another ROM.
The person who wants to publish a new ROM based mostly on my ROM do not have my permission. He must do if he wants a modification patch to flash over my ROM and modify it.

I think is a very intuitive task... before do something, you have to ask for permissions (if it applies).
In this case everything is the opposite... you do what you prefer, you publish my work under your name and after all, when I ask you, you decide to ask for permissions.
You don't have my permission to modify my ROM and publish as yours.
You have my permission to learn from my rom how to do things and apply them to your own ROM.
You have my permission to make a mod patch to apply over my ROM to modify it in the same wat you have modified it. Is a very easy task, use a comparison tool like WinMerge to see the diffs between your ROM and mine, and create a flashable .zip with only this diff files and the needed permissions, in the same way I create every of my updates.

It is true I could do so and ask for permission first, but this is not Huexxx rom modification , is also in the base stock v20n and I saw here copied my rom with the adjustment from Huexxx but maybe the problem with the permit modification(koila33)

I have not used anything of your rom, so do not talk to me, I used system.apk, pf your rom and nothing else, could have been modified by me but to have less work if you want I delete system.apk...
And I asked if I could use huexxx rom files from him and he agreed and I gave him credits, the normal procedure.

previous versions are THIS ROM but this is the best ! it seems that only in Spain and Portugal can create custom rom: D
look at videoprew . Huexxx from a lot of things but also own a lot of work on this rom !
please don't fight here. @robin: one possible solution is asking the admin to move the ROM to themes and apps section.
i too have a port from PRADA (P940) which used Zeus as it's base.i had released it here, but then huexxx told me to kindly asked the Mod to move it to themes and apps section, since it was a THEMED ZEUS core.. and so i did. note that, once you are using someone's ROM as a base, EVEN IF YOUR ROM IS 99% DIFFERENT FROM HIS, U GOTTA ASK his permission and take in what he says.
no one, absolutely no one can tell apart that i used Zeus ROM as my base on the PRADA port, but yet, the ROM is in the themes and apps section.
if we all can release ROMS based on zeus then i'll release 1 ROM daily with a different launcher and different look. it is just basic theming.
once you make full ROM, share it on the dev forum. or better yet, grab a v20 ROM, replace the visual elements and release it back.
choice is yours.
i repeat, am not trying to flame you here, but there are wayyyy too many ROMs based on ZEUS without huexxx's permission and without giving him proper credit.
i pinged you on youtube that i found some stamps from PRADA ROM also, but u didn't bother to reply my comment there.
nevertheless, please consider what i have said.

i too have a port from PRADA (P940) which used Zeus as it's base.i had released it here, but then huexxx told me to kindly asked the Mod to move it to themes and apps section, since it was a THEMED ZEUS core.. and so i did. note that, once you are using someone's ROM as a base, EVEN IF YOUR ROM IS 99% DIFFERENT FROM HIS, U GOTTA ASK his permission and take in what he says.
no one, absolutely no one can tell apart that i used Zeus ROM as my base on the PRADA port, but yet, the ROM is in the themes and apps section.
if we all can release ROMS based on zeus then i'll release 1 ROM daily with a different launcher and different look. it is just basic theming.
once you make full ROM, share it on the dev forum. or better yet, grab a v20 ROM, replace the visual elements and release it back.
choice is yours.
i repeat, am not trying to flame you here, but there are wayyyy too many ROMs based on ZEUS without huexxx's permission and without giving him proper credit.
i pinged you on youtube that i found some stamps from PRADA ROM also, but u didn't bother to reply my comment there.

I had no idea that there is a patented Zeus rom , I thought that there is no need to invent the same thing twice! ( Tweaker , notification bar ...) This is not just a rom we changed the look of it more than anyone expected ...

Robin, you effort is really welcome but I think you have to remove the download links until your clear with Huexxx.
I know very well Huexxx ROM, I use it since the first release. Very often Huexxx told us to implement new tweaks our features from other developer, but we have to wait until he gets the permissions from the developer and you should do the same.
