So first of all I am new on XDA and do not have much knowledge about what is possible and what is unreal. So I have seen that there is a usb host driver for the i9000 and it works. Is it possible to port this driver to the i9001 ?

Install the latest version of kies. It'll have all the drivers that you'll need to let the computer recognise your phone.

Take it out of download mode. Reinstall kies. Turn kies off. Plug in phone and let windows install your phone without kies running.Unplug phone. Restart kies. KEEP YOUR PHONE OUT OF DOWNLOAD MODE. Normally plug your phone in. Hopefully ?
Hi guys, I just got out from under a rock ans realized how awesome otg is and I wanted to know how to enable it on the incredible s

ICS and JB have native OTG support, however, you'll also need a kernet with OTG support.
If you are running Froyo or GB, you'll still need a kernel with OTG support, but, also an app to enable otg support. For example "Usb Host Controller" from the Google app store.
Short said, we don't have a kernel with working otg support.

I think that there was somebody who had ported an otg patch for the IncS, but it was for a Froyo kernel .

Sorry for the big download, but inside it has USB driver, one for 32bit, one for 64 bit. Windows, that is.
