Hi, I have a problem with my O2x. Every night when my phone is charging, it freeze and the alarm don't work.. And every day I late at high school. Last night my phone was fully charged so I don't need to charge it, but yet my phone freeze and the alarm don't work again..
Why this happen?
My rom is Wiui 2.1.0.7 and i use the symbi0sis kernel. It is happen because I use the ramhack?
Thank you and sorry for my bad english.
I have the same problem too, i think it is a bug in the kernel. I have guestes2x 3.8 on my phone with the same kernel.

I like miui and i don't want to change it.. I'll try with another kernel to see if the problem persist.

You can try to set the phone to "Always active while charging" (not sure how the exact English translation is as I am using a German menu). You can find it in "Development options" in settings. I read in some other thread that this should help. Let me know if it works
I tried this but did not work.. now the only solution is to change the kernel.

You could also try setting the screen-off frequency a bit higher. I've heard that some phones have problems with the 216mhz frequency (if that's what you're using)
Or it's due to the ROM. I had issues with WIUI too, been on Temasek's CM7 build for ages now and haven't had a problem since then.
If you shut down your wifi, the problem is solved.
What i do is :
Add a alarm on 11 pm with a profile included.
In the profile you should set wifi off.
So your wifi is automatic shut down.
And by the alarm you must include a profile with wifi on, so you can get your mail etc.
It is very simple

I changed the kernel and now the problem was solved. thank you guys for help.

My lg optimus 2x lost sound very often, just like silent. The problem is that my phone is not in silent mode and profile is general..play music no sound, ringtone no sound...only restart can solve this problem...i have tried some roms like Temasek's kang and MIUI 2.1.20 (moon101) and latest Original room also , but the problem still remain...this problem happens twice a day..does anyone face this kind of problem also ?
i have had it once and restart saves me. then everything works flawlessly. for your occasion maybe it's a hardware problem
i think so, could i claim warranty for this problem ??
If the problem persists with both CM7-based and stock-based roms, it's possible that it's a hardware problem yes.. If you are in the 1 year (I think) of warranty, yes, you should ask the LG support center..

Don't know. I love this rom and kernel. It is fast stable and elegant. But I have this issue. I will try to reflash it again.
I experienced this problem when using CM7 7.2. Turn to stock based rom and problem disappear. Don't know why there's no such bug report on development thread

Did you try to install the matching ril?
Try getril from market ;-)
If not solved, change your baseband and ril.

Could someone please help us.. I've got the same problem, my phone loses sound every 5, 6 hours. Every time, I hear some strange sound, like some weird animal, some scratching sound, and then the phone can produce absolutely no sound and the only help is restarting the phone.
Please someone.
Since nobody helped me, I used some brain of mine so I came up with an idea that task manager could be the problem.
I disabled advanced task killer today in the morning and no problems since )
Hope this will help others with the same problem

Just re-flash
Running Slim ICS 4.2 and Semaphore ICS 1.2.6s which is oc'ed to 1.2Ghz with smartassv2.
Only app installed from market is Apex launcher, which isn't being used anyway.
Whenever the screen goes off and the system reaches 'sleep', the phone ALWAYS reboots into recovery... and it's really annoying
Any ideas anyone?

Sorry guys, been busy so haven't been able to update this (phone was actually fixed the same evening). All I did was re-flash, along with the obvious other things like cleaning.
@slaphead20
OC was my first point of call, so I turned it back. I was left with the same issue, but interestingly with the clocks and gov set back to default it took alot longer for the phone to reboot into recovery after screen off and then sleep.
@tchindalia
That's what I did in the end, it's always my last option though (as it should always be).
Hey I hope one of you guys can help me.
I have a galaxy s running cm10 and I have had this persistent problem with my phone turning off automatically.
When I use it, I press the side button to turn off the screen and it is fine for a minute or so, but if I leave it any longer than that it turns off.
I have heard of something called Deep Sleep, is this the problem?
Is there a way to change how long it has to be locked to go into deep sleep?
Please help
I am losing hope
Cheers

Sounds interesting i know this from the first custom roms i tried a year ago!
Which build of cm10 are you using? Any "faulty" app installed? for me dropbox made cm10 instable and laggy, so i stopped using it.
Have you checked the md5-sum of the .zip file of your downloaded rom? Maybe the download was faulty... Happened to me twice on cm-nightlies.
Cheers
EDIT: Which kernel are you using? For me Stock-Kernel ist aboslutely rocksolid! My phone had 140 hours ontime this morning, before i flashed the newest build.
Hi,
Is you IMEI ok ? I had this problem with CM10 too but now my IMEI is ok I have no pb at all
have you overclocked your phone? i had the same thing happening with other roms...as soon as i had overclocked and turned the screen off, my phone got stuck after a while. try cleaning nstools settings. if that doesn't work, you might try turning off deep idle if it's active, could also be the reason

Do you have photos?
That would help.

Okay, let's start from the beginning :silly:
Whats the exact name of the rom you flashed?
How do you flashed it? (Wipe, etc.)
Have you flashed any other stuff? (Inverted Gapps, Battery mod, Kernel, etc.)
Have you many apps installed?
If i where you, i would flash the newest build with a full wipe, so you got a new, bugfree and stable system
same issue
I have been having the same issue ever since switching to CM10, I have been installing nightlies hoping it will end, but appears to be isolated. Would it help to manually flash boot for each ROM? It cuts off randomly and won't turn on unless charged by a wall charger, or other high-power input (doesn't turn on or charge from car outlet). It doesn't appear to be caused by an app.
Did you wipe when installing nightlies?
If you try to go stock with Odin, and the issue is exactly the same, I think you should consider it could be battery malfunction.

Hey guys,
I couldn't find a thread matching my problem in the OB forum, so I have to ask you!
Since a few days i have to switch wlan on and of twice after lockscreen to make it work.
it works just fine then, but after i don't use it for a while and unlock the screen it wont work.
i used zeus 6.39 and today i switched to 6.4 but that didn't help!
does anyone had/has the same problem?

Ok but why do I have that problem from one day to the other when it worked just fine before?
And I was happy with the way it used to be...

Did you change ANY settings? Like undervolt, overclock,... Maybe installed any "battery saving" apps? Such things might cause such behaviour. Make a nandroid backup, then do a full wipe, test again. If it doesnt get better, well I dont know what s wrong... If it does work again, you can restore your backup and try to find out, what's causing the problem

No, I didn't install or change anything! Only "normal" apps.
