[Q] Working Bluetooth audio on any JB ROM? - Motorola Droid Bionic

I've tried several JB ROMS on my Bionic but none seem to have working BT audio. ie I want to connect the phone to my car through BT but no one can here me on calls.
I know this is common to JB but are there any ROMS that work or is there some fix/trick?
Thanks

Some report success with SCObluetooth app, but I've never made bt work under JB with aokp or cm10.

[Q] captivate rom that works with bluetooth

Hello
I have loaded many roms on my phone and I have been spoiled by them. My manager now wants me to use bluetooth to stream music as a demo. I know that cm7 and cognition do not work.
I was wondering if anyone knows a rom that works with streaming bt audio
I just cant stand this phone stock. :-(
Andromeda 3 works perfectly fine with streaming BT. I use it with my car radio, my BT headphones and the BT radio on my Harley.
What do you mean to stream bt audio? I have been using a stereo bluetooth headset daily for almost a year. It has worked on stock eclair and froyo, and on every custom ROM I have tried, cognition included. I haven't tried the beta GB Cog, but all the FroYo versions worked, and every other GB ROM has worked (never had the desire to try CM7 or MIUI)
Are you using a specific app to stream the music?
I have had on occasion the music stop working, but deleting the headset and re-adding it has always fixed it.

Andromeda 3 is golden, best 2.2 rom available. Love it.

A2DP+Mono Bluetooth issues

Hi all,
Having issues with both stereo and mono Bluetooth connections while running CM7 mods (both RC and nightlies) in that the connection is made for both streams and stays connected but I'm not getting any actual sound. Have tried 3 different headsets which work fine with stock and other custom mods on this phone so it's not a hardware issue. Any ideas?

What i remember A2DP does not work right now on CM7 on O2X.
There is a post in development section of working/not working things.
Ah. Nightmare. Is mono not working yet either? I get exactly the same issue with a mono headset and hands free car kit.

No A2DP (or FM radio) at all.
Well I know the FM radio is a hardware issue as it's not physically connected internally so will never work but hopefully there will be a CM7 release with A2DP support soon :/ either that or I'll have to switch to another mod (which would suck).

Of course it's "physically connected internally" how do you think it works on the stock ROMs?
The problem is common between A2DP and FM radio, the audio doesn't get passed due to nVidia not releasing the HAL yet.

No bluetooth audio with leaked ICS roms?

Hi guys!
My bluetooth audio doesn't work with any of the recent ICS custom roms. I am currently on stunner 4.5 and still can't get it to work.
My car registers the blutooth audio device sucessfully and after connecting the note the note volume slider also changes to bluetooth but I don't hear any sound. It worked great on all GB roms.
Does anyone else has this issue?
Thanks and best wishes

With ICS 4.0.4 and Stunner 5.0 it finally works. Thanks a lot for that!

CM7 CM9 Bluetooth Audio and camera/video issues

Hey all,
I'm kinda confused cauz I read various postings. Anyone of the pro's here can tell me if BluetoothAudio and camera/video work 100% on CM7 ? I know it won't on CM9, but how about CM7 ?
I am looking for a custom ROM to install on my Droid3 which support my camera/video as well as BT Audio, cause I'm listening lots of music inside my car.
This is the second topic you've made a post in development that had NOTHING to do with developing. General is the place for all posts that are not about releases, ports, etc. I assure you that people read General and that your question would be answered there.
To answer your question, CM7 is quite stable. I have not done extensive bluetooth testing, but camera works perfectly if you download a software camera such as cam360 or Camera Zoom FX.

The camera works on CM9 just not the video camera because of no hardware codecs yet. As far as BT goes I think they got most of it ironed out for CM9.
As far as I know, the Bluetooth works just fine while you're using it. The problem occurs when it's turned on but not in use, the audio to other things, such as calls and ringtones doesn't work. I've used a bluetooth headset with it many times and never had any issues with the actual bt functionality.
Guys he said cm7

Last I saw, CM7 camera/video and bluetooth had the same issues as CM9. Hashcode was the only one I know of that did work on CM7 for D3 as well and he stopped development for that to work on CM9. So the CM7 camera does not work (correct me if I'm wrong), video definitely not. But bluetooth should work.

CM7 camera and video definitely works 100%. One just needs a software camera like cam360 or Camera Zoom FX
Hello again,
just wanted to add as feedback, that I flashed CM9 solana and Camera works with CameraFX Pro App, as well as Bluetooth Audio in my car. I can listen to my music which is played on my Droid3 through car audio. I also can make phone calls through Bluetooth audio in my car with no quality issues. Great! Video does not work as known for CM9 due to missing hw codecs.

So you're saying the Bluetooth works but what about the issue when it is on and not connected? I leave it on all the time since I use it in the car, but not anywhere else. Does the sound still die on that release when on and not connected?
thats right.I have to add that I had experience another issue.Bluetooth Audio for listening to my Music from my Droid3 in my car works great. But I have very bad phone call quality while using it via BT connected to my car.Sometimes it works, sometimes not.Even clean rebot and fresh BT reconnect to my car didnt help.I dunno how to reproduce this issue.Seems that theres reallly BT bugs active

EDIT: I've switched to Maverick 4.0 as BT is essential for me. Now I have BT audio and a working video cam, too. I can say, I really like Mav 4.0, looks good till now. Hope I will keep satisfied.. we'll see

[Q] bluetooth call problem on ICS/JB

I know porting ICS and JB on I9000 was difficult, but since it got ported and I switched to ICS/JB (currently running Slim Bean 2.6), I tried installing different roms on my phone and I stumbled on the same problem. I'm using a pair of bluetooth headphones (DELL BH200). On 2.3.7 (darky 9.5 if I recall correctly) they were running perfectly fine, and the call function had no issues. Since the update to JB/ICS, bluetooth connects correctly, the multimedia buttons work, but when I'm recieving a bluetooth call, I can hear the tone in the headphones, I can answer the call, but both the microphone and sound in headphones don't work (bluetooth selected in call app). Sometimes (depends on the rom), if I try to switch to speaker or phone headphone the call just crashes or the switch doesn't happen at all. So, what I am asking is: is this a common problem ? Is there a fix ? Would a clean install help ? Or should I revert to 2.3.7 (I'd rather stick to JB or ICS for the small drawback of not being able to use my headphones as a handsfree device)

A factory reset on the Bluetooth device could be the answer

give this a try.
I did. Still not working. Maybe I should explain the problem again: the headphones work at recieving audio while using the phone as media player, and I can hear the system sounds until I try to call someone or someone tries to call me. At that moment they stop working all together until I reconnect them. It's almost like the system can't switch from phone headphones to bluetooth and it would't use any of them until I disconnect the headphones. Similar to a windows sound driver crash that needs restarting. Maybe it's just the dialer/phone app or the modem. Can I flash a GB modem while using a JB rom ? Or are there any bluetooth drivers that can be replaced with older ones ? I'm not sure it's a driver problem. I'll try calling over skype.
Skype call over bluetooth doesn't work either.

I would try to install a GB modem onto my phone, but, will it influence in any way the bluetooth interface ? Also, can I safely flash a 2.3.6 modem onto a JB rom ?
