Hi, I switched from SGS2 to 4X, so far so good
One thing I used on my previous device is this walkman player, so I give it a try on my new 4X, and guess what?
It's working, sound is just better -louder - stronger...and try Sony gallery, looks good.
Bit of how to...you need root, and CWM, if you have it, flash latest release now it's all inclusive

Well latest is one from V, I used that one, post is rather confusing
Hi.
At first, it is not the latest version.
And.....at this time ,the player from 4x hd is best player of all devices.
I had a Sony Xperia S, a HTC Sensation SE with Beats Audio and a Galaxy S3.
I use my 4x hd with beats audio.
It is perfect.........

Not even close, but still personal taste, for me LG stock player stuters so it's a peace of crap...
And what is not the latest version?!?!?!
There are versions in the post I attached from XPERIA S...T...V...???
V was the latest at the time I posted, so go and peel off an apple end enjoy eating it LOL
I have yet to download it. Im using poweramp now. How's the sound compared to it?
Lol, the posts made my bones tinkering with the bootloop issues and there's way too much 'modification' to do w/o making myself uncomfortable, unless the sound is really good.
I had good music with my SE walkman phones before i switched to LG. Missed it.

You have the version 0.14. The latest is 0.16.
In your flash doesn't work the sound optimize and the cover download.
Only the stock eq from ics is in the flash. And this doesn't work, too
I have the original docomo rom from Xperia V. ( docomo is a provider in asia)

I try install them on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7", sound better so much, but Phone and Camera is problems, it can't start.
can you help me install them on samsung galaxy tab 2 7" 4.1.1
I try install some another beats audio for samsung, but result sound is not better or sound no change.
even i buy Beat Audio Pro on google play, them is very bad, sound not better.
I see only 2 file that above is best. Sound very nice. that's real beats audio by dre.
Thanks
Bao Huy
My best guess is that they were built around the Sony platform. Anytime you flash something meant for one phone onto a completely different one, you definitely run the risk of breaking something! I will try looking at the files later and see what's up, but I'm leaning towards a comparability issue.
Just to give you more info.. the phones with built in Beats original programming have more than software. There's hardware to make it work as well. So software alone will not get you what you want. However, there are plenty of other options.
I use this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1923630
It's not the original Beats, but it works pretty good! It's a universal sound enhancement mod that is compatible with the Tab2. It may be just what you're after for improved sound quality.

A while ago I had an HTC one X running viper x rom, this rom had a neat feature of having four sound enhancements when your headphones are plugged-in in the notification area which were Beats, Dolby, SRS, Xloud and none/off. The sound enhancements were great on that rom and that is one of the things I miss the most about it and I wondered if it could be made to work for the sony xperia z or if there is an existing thing similar or the same as this. thanks

I think the Xperia Z sounds great. I listen to metal and this phone sounds kick @#$ to me. Try these settings if you want, they work for me song after song. I never use the built-in speaker for music, but this sounds good on my headphones and stereo.

Well, while it isn't advised to run more than one soundmod at a time, if you install RomAur you can select more than one soundmod (HTC One Beats, PureXaudio) and then flash AC!D soundmod ontop of it all. works nice for me. Also +1 to those equalizer settings, I use a similar setup for metal and it's ****ing niiice.

I quit trying different sound mods back when I had my Galaxy S3. It's horrible sound is what drove me to the Sony Xperia Z, and I have loved how this phone has sounded ever since. (I use it for 90% media player, 10% phone)
Although it does take a little tweaking in the settings to get superb sound, Do you really feel that any of these sound mods improve the sound, and if so, which one(s) would you recommend ?

Yeah but keep in mind my settings suit my music and my ears, all equalizers need to be fine-tuned per device, person, and music, but, I have tried the xperia z by itself, I tried a couple of the sound mods hear in the past week, and one thing is for sure, on this phone, they are all capable of sounding great, always, with a little tweaking !!!!

Could always try my soundmod for the xperia Z, just if you're on 4.3 replace DSP manager with the DSP manager from pac or cm.
should work fine after that, ignore that it says discontinued, i just couldn't be stuffed adding the new dsp manager.
Does the Beats Audio app do anything to sharpen/improve/define the music for the Atrix HD? Is it worth installing? Can I use it on the CM 11 4.4.2 rom?
I recommend the beats audio mod for kitkat. Google or find it at the android developer forum

Well yes, there is.
Viper4android,that's the one.
However it runs only fully (with all apps supported) on 4.2.x and 4.4.2 android on xperia devices.
Installing it normally will also work, but note with four example tunein.
If you wanna test this audio mod and want to know more about how to do this, you may contact me.

Well you can only imporve the quality by software, you can't change the hardware, and that's what those mods do
So yes, I'm now using only Viper4Android app (not from the google play) with all of the audio effects (that also include the dowloaded add-ons, which are the most important part of Viper), but on Xperia devices I've used a special audio mod, that enabled Viper4Android for all of the apps (and probably changed audio by itself).
I've written some special tutorial how to install it on Samsung (as S4 needed a bit different mod).
You can use any of the files in this thread, as it doesn't matter for Xperia's. My target is always to get Viper4Android working, as it's the best audio mod I've seen until now.
I don't know which version of Viper You've used, but You should check out 2.3.3.0, as it has soo many options (remember to switch to advanced UI).

Hello everyone !
Before buy my Samsung Galaxy S6, i had a Sony C5 ULTRA.
The Video quality was AMAZING, but no way to root it :/...
So i've bought the samsung galaxy S6, and i find that it's an incredible mobile phone ! But the quality of the video was better on the C5.
I think it's Bravia engine ! Someone can port it ? or was it ported already ?
Thanks.

Nobody uses Bravia anymore. It was the most useless feature ever. The main difference was a sightly more saturated image over the standard one. You can have the same oversaturated output by tweaking your AMOLED panel in Settings》Screen. By the way the only way to install bravia engine is by flashing that file. I can't guarantee that will work because the last time I've flashed it was in 2012 for my Galaxy Note running Android 4.0.3. However, you can try it by making a backup so you have something to restore if anything goes bad.
I flashed a bravia mod two days ago as requested by a user, to incorporate into my rom. Though I never noticed any improvements so ditched it. Our video experience is fine on the s6

Woa thanks ! Introduction think it's dors toujours compatible :/ so solved !
Bravia Engie is not for 4+ ROMs, they are useless for those version, the egnine is old, even SONY don't use it anymore, it's incorporated on the graphic drivers for the xperia line.
