Go to recovery (Home+Power button simultaneously while switching on the phone) and wipe cache and factory reset the phone! This resolves the issue most of the times.. If he's still stuck at bootloop, flash a stock rom via odin!
Anyway, how did he get bootloop?
Sent from my GT-S5830 using Tapatalk 2
Usually it gets resolved if you go into recovery, then do a cache wipe + factory reset.
If the problem persists, then reflash the rom as well.
Be careful that you reboot at least once before flashing anything else (e.g. scripts, etc.)

I flashed my phone to the German ICS. Then I decided to wipe all my data. It was my fault
I made a backup and wiped my phone. After that I get a bootloop. I tryed to restore phone, but it gave me nothing. It stucked on samsung galaxy note gt n 7000 screen. After that I got in recovery mode problems with mounting / cashe and /system
So, I flashed my phone using odin to ICS one more time. And I got bootloop in samsung screen with flashing lights. Cashe and data wiping didn't work.
I flashed to 2.3.6. and in recovery mode phone showed me that he had got a problem with mounting /data. I flashed one more time with using pit and this mistake disapeared. But now I'm still in screen samsung galaxy note gt n 7000.
Sometimes it tryes to reboot. But I still there in the same possition. Anyway wiping makes nothing.
I tryed to find information about cases like my one, but I couldn't do this. So I'm really sorry if it's already been. And I sorry about my English.
Please, help me! I don't want to loose my friend
What I supposed to do now?
Go to this thread now and try the methods from there.

I tryed this one exept 4th:
Here is how to solve.
1.flash stck GB rom
2.wipe data/cache from stock recovery.
3.now flash stock ics.
4.then flash another rom/ root kernel
still the same...
where I can find new kernel? And how to downoload it to Note?
after few hours of thinking and chating with members of 4pda.ru it looks like the problem begins after getting root access if you use touch recower. There is more than 5 members with the same problem. Beware about using that!
And my question is: how to get stock CWM?
So, guys, after uncoutable times of flashing I found that I can't download to the phone datafs . Is there any ways to solve this problem?
Have you tried to wipe/factory reset in stock recovery instead of cwm recovery?
OK so one more superbrick. Sorry mate
something that you tried had fried your emmc
Hi guys.
I was planning to install CM 7.2 on my Galaxy Ace for quite a long time and decided to do it today. I have rooted my phone and installed CWM on it, following steps described on the forum. I have made some backups with CWM and My Backup Root. Everything was fine, I have turned my phone off and back on without any problems. However, after doing the factory reset and clearing cache partition via CWM I cannot get past the bootloop animation, it keeps showing my network logo and Samsung logo. After about 5 minutes I have pulled the battery out and restored the CWM backup, but it didn't help. Any idea of what to do to bring my phone back to life?
Thanks,
Draggy
I have flashed my phone with the latest Samsung Galaxy Ace firmware using Odin, but it didn't help - instead of O2 logo there is only the Samsung animation now. I really don't know what to do.
Try a FULL Odin package, and make sure your phone model is the exact one of the rom you are flashing (5830/5830i etc)

After flashing the new software I had to take the battery out and then go to the recovery mode and do the factory reset again. I think I now need to root my phone again and install CWM, as I've got the stock recovery now. Thanks for help.

The problem is that I haven't done anything wrong. I followed the steps from the forum and I would have never thought that the bootloop may happen because of factory resetting the phone. Anyway, I'll try and get the CM working tonight. :silly:
Hi,
I think I bricked my phone very well. I used Odin to put some GB Kernel in order to be able to upgrade to JB. Later I got into recovery mode and cleaned cache and many other things, but was unable to wipe data\factory reset, from there it all went down. I tried fixing it using this guide, but it didn't help. I still can get into download mode, though. And sometimes even into recovery, but it gives me tones of errors.
What can I do? How do I fix it now???
Thanks in advance!
Fix:
Try to flash a stock GB rom with Odin.
Kernel/ Upgrade to JB
After that flash a rooted kernel. Try CF-Root or Semaphore Kernel.

flash rom first, find ur own firmware, then flash rom using odin, if ur pet kernel first, there will be no rom to reset.

I indeed flashed stock GB, and managed to update to JB from there
Thank you very much guys!

Hi,
got one problem. hope im typing in right section.
Flashed my I9000 to 2.3.6 JVU plus CF-Root. Minutes later ive tried to flash Gamerzrom via CWM.
(done a full wipe / factory reset, wiped caches etc.).
After that Phone reboots and is stuck in a bootloop containing the Semaphore screen and i cannot
enter CWM again. I have to reinstall stock rom first and then root it again.
Dunno what im doing wrong at that point; am i using wrong kernel?
thanks in advance
that gamerzrom...2.3 or 4.2?
if u wanna flash to 4.x, need to flash cm9 first.flash twice, from 2.3 to cm9 to cm10.dont do shortcut please...
cm9 need to flash twice, bootloop will occur on first flash, use 3 button combo to go back to recovery, its da matter of releasing da 3 button, release it rite after u see da white sgs,if still cant, flash back firmware n redo step.
after flashing cm9, do not reboot, flash cm10 or gamerzrom, first flash will error, flash it back again n then reboot, do wipe everything except sd when in 2.3, and please...read first before asking

I'v done this several times, by cwm and by stock recovery - same result. Finally I've installed branded rom and it's working perfectly to the moment I wanted to uninstall operator apps by titanium backup. Sometimes at the finishing of uninstall phone reboots... but working.

yeah n between uninstalling system apps system boots but thats not a problem as those apps which you wanna remove get removed even if your phone gets rebooted
Did you also wipe dalvik? Try to flash a stock (old) firmware via odin and do this steps.
1.reboot to recovery
2.wipe data /factory reset
3.wipe cache partition
4.reboot
İt has to boot normally in 2-3 minutes. İf doesnt tou gotta make a Jtag operation which you cannot do without the RiffBox.

You should flash a multi package firmware when rolling back from custom roms.XXKPH is one such rom, then you can flash latest update afterwards.Cache etc never matter for me

First upgrade your device to Gingerbread using Odin, follow this guide
hubix's guide
Then root your device and install CWM (custom recovery) in order to flash custom roms, doing backups, flash mods ... here you'll find all
Usefull Thread with lots of info and FAQ
Finally choose the rom you want and follow the dev's instructions to flash the selected rom

The latest fw it's from Vietnam?? umm
There's no problem, but I suggest you to flash an European fw in order to avoid signal/coverage troubles because of each fw includes a modem from a different area. For me the Spanish KTM is the best

Here is the link on how to install stock rom using odin along with all firmwares and drivers (check the "Preparations" section),
Flash stock rom on Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 using odin
You can find all the necessary details for flashing as well as all the firmwares in this link. If your PC cannot recognize the phone, its usually the drivers. Once installed, go to recovery mode and do a wipe data/ factory reset & wipe cache (otherwise bootloop might occur). Then restart. Now you have successfully flashed the stock rom. Here is the link for rooting and installing CWM 5 on Samsung Galaxy Ace (just install these zip from the recovery mode),
How To Root and Unroot Samsung Galaxy Ace?
CWM 5.0.2.6 fix for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830
You can use the single firmware installation. No need to download files like boot, pda, etc separately. Also you can download the firmware near to your region. Hope I Helped

Before you do any of these things, make sure to backup you apps. Go to CWM and do "Wipe data/ factory reset" and "Wipe Cache partition". Also go to Mount and Storage> Format /system. Finally Advanced> "Wipe Dalvik Cache" and "Wipe Battery Stat". Now reinstall the rom again. It might solve the issue. As for the stable custom rom, you can always go with CM 7 i.e. Android 2.3.7 based roms. CM 7 based roms are much stable than CM 9, CM 10 and CM 11 roms. As per xda rules, I cannot suggest you the best rom. But here is list of all roms for our Ace. You can flash this yourself to decide which is the best. Here is the link,

after flasing a stock rom via Odin, do wipe factory/reset and wipe cache in order to avoid the bootloop, but with CM10.x ROMS NEVER DO WIPES (data factory/reset) OR YOU'LL BREAK THE BOOT!!
To fix it do all the wipes and reflash the CM10.x rom following dev's thread
