mms help

Rooted my atrix HD...I can make calls send texts and browse the web..but I can't send or receive picture messages..my APN is the same as my stock ROM...anyone having this issue or have a idea on how to solve it?

Go to your phone/settings/additional settings/my phone number... Enter your digits like this: 1234445555 (your area code and number) this worked for me.

Some custom ROMs do have issues with MMS. Try another ROM and see if the issue goes away.

Atrix HD MMS
Adblock was blocking send and download of mms messages. As soon as I turned that off, it started working again. Some custom roms may come with this app preloaded so make sure this is not breaking anything.

I can sent text msgs

Hi I have a SGH-897 and I installed the latest cm mod. And for some reason I can't send text msgs, it was working at first but after a few hrs no good. I have net10 what can I do to fix this?

Yea, they should be, it I can get on the internet and send mms... I would assume my APN settings are right.

actually no, your APN settings could indeed be set to only work for specific things. It is the first thing to check.
Then you can try other modems. After that, try clean flashing your ROM and finally check your sim card and with your carrier.

Can send mms but not sms?!?

Ok so I WAS rooted and running a rom but had to flash back to stock and unroot at att and now I can receive mms and sms messages and even SEND mms messages but can't send sms. Someone please help this is frustrating

Yes. Sometimes it tries for a few minutes sometimes instantly buy it will always say failed

I have tried factory reset powering off pulling sim and even reseting apn settings. I honestly can't see how it could be on my end

Perhaps your baseband got corrupted? Try to Re-flash just the modem through Odin.

Sending mms is sending an sms with a link to the mms file, so something's wrong here. If you can send an sms with a link you can send an sms without a link.

Pls help ! Unable to see call screen after upgrading from froyo to jellybean

Whenever i recieve a call or dial a call, the call screen is blank just the battery and network icons,
I upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3.6 to 4.0.4 to 4.1.1 to 4.2.2

I suppose you are on 4.2.2 now, no? Have you tried installing another dialer app from the play store? If not, do so and let's see.

Dialer is completely fine mate, the call screen ( in which we disconnect the call, mute. ) i can't see this screen

No notifcations in gear

In gear manager I select on left side 'Notifications' then on the right side they are all ticked like email and messaging etc...
But I get none, no sms and no gmail and no stock email from email app, no facebook, no twitter, nothing!!!

I am still on 4.2 stock could that be what is causing no notifications.....
or could it be Apex Launcher.....will try that one,....
So far all I can use the watch is to make and receive calls, nothing else

For full features, you need a touchwiz rom. If you use custom, you get most (limited) features
