My retarded brother tried to see what's on the back of the Droid4 battery while I wasn't watching and removed(!) the battery! Ugh!
Now the connection is broken and the phone won't power on!
i have no Motorola service center accessable whatsoever.
I'm not currently in the US.
Is there any way to fix this myself?
I am very desperate but nobody in this forum seems to have similar problem so I had to post this question :'(
Plz help...

A same trouble. I won't try to repair battery at my kitchen, cellulardr.com won't send to my country.
Ebay has them. It wont let me post links yet, but just search EB41. It says they ship worldwide.

The Samsung website is remarkably difficult to decipher when it comes to this. I am fine with mailing my phone somewhere and waiting for a repair, and fine with being billed for the repair -- the USB port broke because I dropped it one too many times with the cable connected -- but I can't figure out who is supposed to take my money and fix the thing! Help?
there are these parts on ebay and other sites. and lots of tutorials on how to change it.

Wow. This never even occurred to me; I never imagined it would be user-replaceable. I guess this must be a fairly common problem.
eBay seems to have them only arrive in a month, Amazon doesn't seem to have them at all. Is there anyone who can deliver this week that you know of? I really don't know where to look for this kind of thing.
I'm sorry I am in a different continent and here in know local phone repair shops who can get it soon for me. Try them in ur area

My S3 LTE and my son's S3 went dead on us today... After overnight charging, both phones won't start up at all. Tried all the methods, still no sign of starting up! HELP!!
Have you taken the battery out and put back in?

Take it for servicing.....new motherboards needed!
Given the timing, probably a really bad power surge. Any other electrical devices stop working?

Nope...
Managed to get my LTE working. Plugged it onto my Samsung Ativ PC and it somehow started. My son's need to be sent to service centre.
A visit to the service centre did the job. Changed circuit board...

Ok so my usb port broke off so I was using a razr well my daughter broke that by throwing it... so with no phone I grabbed my D4 I pulled the battery charged it to like 3% put the battery back in and powered it up... I made a Frankenstein cable that will charge it via the inductive charging pins... came back a few hours later to see it was charged... so there's the back story... now my issue it will not recognize the sim card says no service no sim card... so I switch back to stock (i was on avatar) same on stock no service no sim... but the stock reboots like every 2-20 mins never the same time frame... avatar it'll go all day with out a reboot... I get my new phone in 2 days but I go back to work tomorrow and need a phone... I have fr the stock ROM, put the sim in a different phone it does work... Put a different sim in mine it did not.... On avatar I Swapped sims, fr full wipe and reflash ROM fixed permissions... I am really at a lose here... I thank you kindly for any in put..

I bought a Butterfly S off eBay and was loving it until I managed to damage the SIM card connection by getting simcard stuck and pulling it out with tweezers. DOH!!! :'(
It wouldn't recognise any SIM card at all after.
I have had it at a local repair place for a couple of months. They can't get hold of the part and I'm gutted.
I was hoping anyone of you lovely guys and girls could give me any advice?
Thanks in advance.

Send it to HTC for repairs

They won't accept it in the UK as it's not a UK phone. I would have to send it to Taiwan apparently. Plus I would have to pay for the repairs.
I was hoping someone knows how to get it fixed here in the UK.

wow that really sucks =/
That's strange as I thought HTC North America can fix it, didn't think Europe would be any different. Tech support told me to contact RMA department to see if my headphone amp was faulty, but I didn't bother.

Yeah I thought that too. They told me I could send it to either Taiwan or the states. Not sure what to do.

Its a global device, so it can b fixed at any htc repair facility. I had just got mine repaired, dead pixel, and it was freezing up. When i initially contacted htc, they tried telling me the warranty was no good! Lol. I called back an hour later, and they wrote up a ticket, and i sent it in for repair. It took about 2 and a half, maybe 3 weeks, i just got it back. Brand new! They replaced everything almost. I had dropped it, and there were a couple scuff marks on it, plus the screen had a few light scratches. Not anymore. They replaced the screen, and everything. Its mint condition again! There was a 20 fee for the global warranty. But oh well.
My suggestion, send it to the states, to a friend, have them get it fixed through htc repair and send it back to u. Good luck man.
