before update, which fw do you used?

Update through Pc companion or update service. I don't think you can make FTF out of ota updates

is this legit..??

Singapore hasn't released this yet. If it does i'll make a .ftf for it.

I don't think so, I was one of the first last time, but now nothing.
Anyway, its holiday now so maybe on tuesday earliest...
I would like to have the link to the chinese forum from where the screenshot in OP came from, but maybe its an hoax (notice the background color of the update center)

just checked, still no update for V and TX.

You should check via PC Companion or SUS, because OTA updates usually come a few days later.

You probably shouldn't flood their servers with these requests too often.

Xperia updatechecker is a new Windows program from a thread here on xda. :thumbup:

I want to downgrade my 4.4 to 4.3, I need help finding 4.3 firmware for US model. Is there a way to download them? sony PC companion only shows the latest version.

Download an older firmware ftf from general section nd then flash it using flashtool

Im in In the Southern part of Africa and at some point i was running a UK ftf and Netherlands too. What i was never sure of though was the labeling of network coverage. As in here it is LTE but the UK ftf i was using would say 4G. Anyway point is ftf from other country would work.

hello
my xperia z (c6603) faced a proplem yesterday..
while restarting , it kept giving me (optimising apps) as if it's being updated while i didn't make anything
when it's finished , it restarts again and again doing the same thing
i asked for help and someone has downloaded a new software
then i found my phone model number is (c6602) in settings ......on kitkat ( it was on lollipop 5.1 )
even i typed *#*#7378423#*#* model is c6602 and on pc companion also
in service types there was 4 types GSM bands 3 types umts and 6 types of LTE
how can this be possible?
and what's the solution

"Someone" flashed wrong ftf for you. Flash C6603 ftf with Flashtool it should fix that.
