[Q] Phone Bricked Unfixable - Samsung Galaxy Mini

Hi guys I have sad news ;/ I bricked my phone Installing Chainfire 3D and now it won't start up.
It happened a month ago. The phone is rooted so I can't send it to repair.
I was in city center and they tried switching the battery, installing JIG but nothing.
I searched for it everywhere but nothing....
So anybody please if you have idea what's wrong then reply!!

Just go to service center and play dumb, you were updating with kies and it rebooted but never came back on? Don't mention rooting or anything related...

i dint know u could brick ur phone even when usin chainfire...hmmm :good:

LOL I think he means bootloop. But not sure. I think it's impossible to brick a phone with chainfire. I tried it on every ROMs except for the stock and the biggest problem I ever got is the bootloop. Then restored a backup and that's it.

Except Chainfire is installing a HTC One VX Kernel on Mini sorry...
This not unfixable problems, this fixable.
Install CWM v5.0.2.8 by Squadzone
Mount USB Storage
Download any ROM from Android Development Section
Put it in your SD-Card
UnMount in CWM
Install your ROM !

boot to strange screen.. brinked??

ok.. I own a Vibrant which I have flashed tons of time with no prob.
My friends Captivate I've done before and didn't have a prob.
He wanted something new so I attempted to flash a new rom to it. wouldnt boot it. Then tired a few things( not sure all I did.. this started a week ago)
But one of the things I think I did was flash a vibrant stock rom on it by accident.
ended up having to get it to download mode using a jig.
The one click stock captivate odin doesnt work for me.. tried several times with rebooting phone and PC.. always freezes.
got it to flash with another captivate odin and used the stock pit and tar that came with the download.
Now when it boots it looks like this.. see picture
Ive reflashed it a few time and always get the same results
PLEASE HELP

Does it get pretty far into the boot process and then do that or does it kernel panic immediately? If the former then try flashing one of the CWM flashable ROMs. I've seen a phone do that on stock, but work (sans cellular and GPS connectivity) when on a froyo ROM when the /efs partition was messed up.
as soon as I turn it on it goes to that screen
now Im having probs finding a CFW for odin lol err
Got it to work... Flashed again via Odin using diff files
Thanks

Blue screen with a lot letters.
How unbrick ?
There was a thread about that long ago. I did experience that blue screen too long before. Smartflash and v20a (Chinese) mostly solved those problems. And I suggested that solution on that thread. But nowadays, there's a combination of SmartFlash and BIN/FLS that DOESN'T factory reset your phone.
During our times with SmartFlash, it will wipe any data hence the solution for that kernel panic.
R&D Tool too can solve that. Keep in mind, you only need something to FACTORY RESET your phone during flashing process.
Here are possible solutions...

Yes, but the recovery dont works, dont accept any option...
How do you mean, doesnt accept any options? How about taking a ROM, that has got full wipe in the updater-script? And how about flashing normal CWM and not touch one? And just cause many miss it, is there the possibility, that your friend just didnt scroll down? Did you try R&D tool + workaround and a v10 software already? LG B2C tool and emergency recovery in there maybe?
Sorry for soo many questions, but maybe it helps and gives you some inspiration

Odin stuck on FactoryFS.img

Yeah.. I flash into N7000DXLP9_N7000OLBLP6_N7000DXLP5_HOME.tar. Then I installed CWM and wipe data/factory reset. Unfortunately, it hang. So i took out the battery and turn it on and found out the phone's bricked. I tried reflashing the Stock ICS ROM but failed at factoryfs.img(Stuck at like 5% lol). Already tried opening in admin, compatibility mode(XP SP 2), changed usb ports and restarted the computer. Haven't tried on a different computer though. Any ideas? If it's possible, I don't wait to PIT the phone... It's not mine. Thanks in advance
The binary count is still zero and there is no warning triangle thing. After some research, is this the Superbrick bug? Never thought that ICS rom can be this risky....

Welcome to superbrick club. Your MoBo needs to be replaced. There is a workaround - see the general section.
If you have flash counter zero, then dont try anything and just send it to service centre and tell them this happened after Kies update, to reclaim your warranty.

Dont play around with the work arounds, there are no solutions, only work arounds.
Your binary count is zero, take it the service center and get the MoBo replaced under warranty. It will save you sleepless nghts... trust me.
Okay. Thanks for the feedback.

[Q] Managed to brick my phone, help.

Hello. I'm in deep ****. I was studying chemistry and I saw the new update of GingerDX v30. I downloaded it and decided to reboot my phone and install it. So yeah, I did.
Now, I try to turn it on and only the "Sony Ericsson" logo appears. That's it.
I cannot enter the xrecovery, and my computer doesn't detect my phone.
What to do now?
Please, help ASAP.

use pcc, seus, or flashtool(+stock rom) to repair it. you're on stock kernel, right?
[cAs]
Install the drivers.
Charge your phone fully. This is very important. Sometimes phone doesn't get recognized. Have patience. Put it on charging . Download SEUS(sony ericsson update service) to your computer and install it. connect your phone to PC and run SEUS. All the other steps are self explanatory in that tool. It installs Stock kernel and stock ROM. This is the easiest process and safest method in my view. Good luck
