Starting from the left.
1) Micro USB
2) Mini USB
3) USB B Out
4) USB A In
5) USB A out
Our phone uses MicroUSB.
EDIT: Not FireWire what was I thinking?!?
Thanks man. After I saw this first I stopped searching:
I now learned that the image is MicroUSB A and the one in our phone is MicroUSB B.
If you press hard enough, any cable will fit

Additionally a consistent hammer work will help the fitting process if plain pushing doesn't help

I love my Nexus but I do have one compliant or wish.....When I am using my Nexus while charging it, the charging port could not be located in a worse place as far as holding it (portrait) and charging. I am really worried about damaging the port.
My thought is, if the was an adapter that had an L-shaped male to plug into the Nexus and run along the bottom to make it less of an issue to putting stress on the port.
Has anyone seen one of these?
Like one of these?

Personally if you're worried about stress try looking for a 6" extension cable with a right angle connector instead. IMHO of course.

Only issue is that the N7 is very selective about cables.
A generic Micro USB cable will not charge at full rate.
I use a couple of generic usb cables (eBay), 2mtrs long with a right angled plug. They both seem to work fine for me, I tend to leave the N7 on charge overnight but it charges up pretty quickly anyway.
Hi.
I have a Nexus 7 OTG+PWR setup in my car
I have a OTG power cable connected from USBcharger to my nexus with a USBcable that also power the device i connect to the Nexus.
Anyway, i need a USB hub so I can use more devices, also i think i my be needing more power when i use more devices, so i want a USB hub with external 12v (car) poweradapter, it's not wasy to find on ebay.
Any ides?
(Can't use amazone, they don't ship to norway)

Since USB spec is 5V. You will most likely not find a 12V usb one.
Your best bet is to simply hardwire a 12V-to-5V adapter. I used a standard USB cigarette adapter. I wired a female cigarette adapter internally, and taped the two together. I bought a large 4A one, to be able to supply enough power to the tablet, and other peripherals.
Hey guys,
Some time ago i observed that my micro-usb port became lose. I let the phone at charge but the usb wont stay in its port,or wont make contact. From time to time it show usb connected, even if it is nothing connected to usb port.
Is usb port replacement covered by warranty or do you know any other methods to repair it?

If your phone is still under warranty then yes they should replace the port at no charge. Otherwise you'll either have to do it yourself or bring it to your local phone repair shop.
If you have the skills to disassemble the phone yourself then the part you'll need cost about 10$, its a little board with the usb port and mic on it that is attached to the main board with a flat cable.

Like the title says this is a usb cable that is reversible on both ends. Both USB A (the part that plugs in to your charger) and Micro B (the part that goes in your phone) are reversible and work on the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy Tab S 10.5. I can't speak to durability though, I just received mine. Here's the eBay seller I bought mine from: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Double-Side...069442?hash=item3ab2df1c82:g:NNUAAOSw37tWDC~-

Don't mind the staple remover that's just to hold the cable in place.
PS Don't buy the one on Amazon that one didn't work for me.
I have one also from ebay, but my cable is reversible from both ends. Too bad they don't make longer cables.

Can someone verify if a Type C headphone jack can be used at the side (the orange port)?

The orange port is NOT to be used with a type c cable of any kind. The phone specific warns you during setup to never plug a USB type c anything into the orange port. Your suppose to use the port next to the orange one, but NOT the orange one. I think it's actually slightly smaller anyway, as I accidentally started to plug a cable into the orange port and it didn't want to go in.
But as to the USB C headphone jack, I believe it will work just fine in either of the actual USB C ports (bottom or side).
Yes during setup, they specifically said "do not connect anything" to the orange port.
The lighting case even has a protection notch over it.
