No wifi hotspot on CM 10.1 based ROMs

No wifi hotspot on CM 10.1 based ROMs
tethering (connection via USB) works well but the prblen on hotspot
when i press it it stoked and i should restart the device to use wifi

Because its known bug of cm10.1

jellybeer 4.32 wifi tethering issue

hello,
at the moment I'm an happy jellybeer 4.32 user... the only issue I've (with others 4.2.2 roms is the same) is with tethering by wifi (by usb not working too but I never use it): it doesn't work, but with any 4.1.2 rom works perfectly.
It is no due to provider or sim or contract limitation... any help?
Some users report that they use this feature without any issue with 4.2.2 roms.
I tought this issue was solvednon last AOSP relase...
any help or idea?

Well i guess WiFi hotspot is what you want, that does work in the Supernexus ROM, which is like the basic AOSP. So it should work on Jellybeer. Try a stable version or PM @beerbong about it. Try posting in the Jellybeer thread too...

No, don't PM @beerbong, he doesn't develop jellybeer anymore

wifi tethering not working

hyee..i install 3 custom rom, all wifi tethering not working..clean & tweak,purenes and honamiultrazed white edition..how to fix this..

I use XperiaLised v2 custom rom, wifi tether works great. Give it a try.

thnks..i stay on rom project aosp by white mamba..but i like purenes to bad tether don't works..till then i wait new update or fix from dev..

[Q] SO-02E JB 4.2.2 Bug

I'm just Newbie here to post a Thread
Since I Updated my OS from 4.1.2 The Wifi hotspot is functional
Then when I Updated ..I Having problem with my SO-02E(NTT XZ)
regarding with the bug of recent update of JB 4.2.2
I can't use my Tethering Hotspot even I got Unlimited Data plan
-Hotspot Pocket Wifi
-Bluetooth Tethering
-USB Tethering
Build # 10.3.1.B.0.256
Is this can be fix with Update or Am Gonna Wait the 4.3?

If you can wait then wait. I would not wait because the battery drain. It's much better with newest version.

Find out how to fix it in CM sources.
Now seriously, maybe try super beam app. I used and it worked on 4.4 ROMs (on Liquid Smooth).
