[Review] This Catches The Essence of The Nexus Program - Nexus 4 General

I've read all the reviews at least the ones in English, this one by far, the one that catches the essence of the Nexus program, if it wasn't the only one.
Google Nexus 4 deep-dive review: Android at its best

i love a review that just states the facts and concerns without bashing. thanks for sharing!

The review was a nice read. Thanks for sharing!

That review has already been posted in the 'Grandmeister review thread'

A good read, though.

Thoroughly enjoyed that.
Thanks for posting.

That's a great review of this beast! Also, I just read Android Central's review, which was also great if not better than this. I liked how it stated the known drawbacks that are concerns for certain customers, and how they can just buy another android phone. Here's the link:

Also has a great walkthrough video.

Like that review! Cool

Refreshing review after all of the other bias ones

Freewarepocketpc.org NEW SITE!!

So,
My new site:
http://freewarepocketpc.org
I don't have all of the programs on there but I have a lot of useful programs and you can use. I know there are a lot of other sites out there but these are my suggestions and things I know work on the AT&T Tilt.
Hope I don't get banned since I've contributed and asked questions.
My site is http://freewarepocketpc.org/
I like the idea of having a site to collect all the various useful bits and bobs on, but you really need to be crediting sources for your posts.
For example: in the KaiserTweak post you don't link back to XDA-Dev's thread, you don't credit the author, and the download link is on your own site. Bad form.
RSS Support ???
Is there RSS Support for you blogs ???
I would love to have it in Google Reader.
By the way nice collection ...

Looks like a good resource. Thanks!
Looks nice, another site I'll have to check everyday now, thanks.

Not to mention illegal
I'm afraid that starting threads to promote your own site or even other sites of this type is not on!.
If someone asks a question, by all means suggest a site or even refer them to your own site but we are not here to be promoters of members sites. So the way you let folk know about your site is by being helpful to others , answering questions and OK from time to time giving a link to something on your site
I also take note of the poster above who feels you might give more credit to the developers and in particular this site.
There is also the fact that until this point the OP has only 4 posts. That brings this thread precariously close to SPAM.
So far the OP has the balance wrong here. It should be lots of help and support to other members and perhaps the ocassional mention of his site. NOT 4 posts and a thread started with the sole purpose of promoting his site.
This is not open season on starting threads to take people away from here rather than supporting THIS site by putting up the collected links and tips in our own Wiki site. If we already have the information in the Wiki (as I notice lots of the registry tweaks are) then there is no need to refer people elsewhere.)
I am inclined to close this thread, what do the members think?

I'm with you Mike.

Interview with a1jatt, the XDA user that discovered the Nexus 4 supports LTE

We contacted a1jatt by private message and he was gracious enough to accept our invitation for an interview. In case anyone's interested, you can read the interview at the link below. In case you're not aware, he's the XDA-dev user that discovered that the Nexus 4 supports LTE (AWS). If you have any comments or suggestions, please let us know. Thanks

That was very enjoyable to read, I appreciate that.
Cheers!
Good read! I agree a1jatt should of gotten more recognition.
Good, thorough article. :good:
Keeping these blogs from skip-sourcing would be a full time job

Review Your Desire C

Hi folks.. Here is a small little competition/ fun thing to do for you guys.
What you have to do is write a review or a paragraph describing your experiences with this phone. You can mention anything you want to say. It is an informal thing. The more personal it is the better. You can mention the following things :
Why you got the phone?
What you like about the phone?
What you dont like?
What would you suggest to the new users?
Anything else you wanna say..
The best ones will be quoted at the very top of the OP of this thread.. The Ultimate Information Thread | Specs, Reviews, Photos, Videos, Index. This thread is Sticky-ed in the General Section. I promise proper credits..
Remember - A good review is not always a positive review. It's a 'fair' review.
There is no time limit so take your own sweet time.
Thank you.

OnePlus 3 Peer Review Program

Hi everyone. I was selected as one of the 60 finalists for the OP3 peer review team, and now I need your help getting into the top 30, and what better place to come to than xda? Currently I sit at 31, and every vote counts. You can vote for me here: (You will have to remove the space before the .net and .eu)
Mod Edit: Link removed.
I'm also the #1 Canadian candidate, and the #3 North American, so if you're from here, show some love
You can view the current results here:
Mod Edit: Link removed.
Now, the things I mainly want to cover are the battery life, strength of the cell signal, fluidity of the OS, and temperature measuring during daily and extensive use. I am posting here not just as a way to get votes, but as a sort of request-taking procedure. If there are any specific things you would like tested (besides putting it in a blender, I don't work for BlendTech) I am willing to do them and contribute that to my official review, which I will link here. If you have any questions regarding myself, my plans on what to test on the phone, or anything else, I am more than willing to answer any and all questions. Thanks for your support!
Hi!
You are welcome to enjoy XDA as it's meant for, info, sharing, helping, etc. But it's not a place to rally others for votes for off site endeavours. :good:
Please, no duplicate threads either.
