Mostly root requiring apps request for it.
I infer the the user wants to run droid VPN with it.
well just download tun.ko downloader from playstore.
Edit: android_united posted the link already. refer that.

Hmm
I already install it from googleplay ,but when i click install fro the app it says "cannot find a compatible tun module for your device"

Well that's odd.
Never hppnd with me.

Or you can manually download tun.ko file for the device on a pc and manually move it to the device system root.

its also kernel specific. if ur roms kernel supports vpn etc, then u can install from playstore.
try using it by changing another rom

.ko(kernal object ) file is related to kernals only, located in lib/modules inside linux machine.
They are like drivers.
Well i was using official cm7.
But you can try mebitek's cm7 too.

doesn't work...
superoneclick?
SGA root.zip won't root any other device as there is assert check at start only..
so you will need to change update-script inside upd_1.zip to get it working on SGA+
superoneclick should work

Last resort would be compiling kernel and add autoroot in the ramdisk like the cfroot.

I don't think it's possible either..
Man I wouldn't like to be editing those files on the x8 lol.. Your eyes must hurt after all that!
You'll probably have to, if you haven't already, download a CM7 rom (I suggest GingerZaraki v8) and install it on your phone.
Good luck either way!

Unfortunatelly nothing happened. After flashing and when the phone trying to connect to network, the phone says "turning wifi on" but never turn it on. I am skipping this step and trying to connect later and after connecting my google acoount but nothing too. It's the only problem that i have with your kernel. It;s very stable and i want it so much!!!

Go with root browser to system/lib/modules and delete bcmhd.ko or delete the hole folder than go to cwm and flash the kernel again. This may solve your problem.
