I have never bought something from this kind of sites. Why is it so cheap? Something other than the brand must be different to justify this kind of price difference between this and a samsung branded charger.
Are the 2.1 amps a problem? The note II charges with 2.0 amps.
I guess the cost is pretty darn cheap. I have one which i purchased from a shop for about US$3.50, It's also a 2.1 amps. It's has been in my car and has charged my HTC sensation, one X and now the note II. no issues with it
I decided to buy this one: http://www.eforchina.com/view/13122...utput--DC-5V---2.1A--DC-5V---1.0A--Black-.htm
Can charge my note II and my grilfriend's sIII at the same time. Thanks for the information.

Hello all,
I've purchased a car power adapter spec'ed at 500mA. To my disappointment, the Galaxy does not appear to be charging when connected to that one.
The factory-supplied outlet adapter is spec'ed at 700mA.
So, what's the min spec for a charger that would work for the Galaxy ? Any Nokia car chargers that are known to be working (if so, which models)
TIA for the help..
http://tinyurl.com/29zpnsl 5th link and they recommend Dash Genie charger. Why would you like a nokia one ?
Thanks.
Why would I "like" a Nokia charger? Price. And because I'm fed up with buying car chargers and holders each and every time I change my phone...
I got a Samsung branded one (CAD300UBE), will cost you around $10~15. I always try to buy original accessories, because I don’t want to risk damaging the phone or the battery by using a cheap crappy charger off eBay. If you are buying a $700 phone then surely you can afford $15 on a decent charger.
EDIT : If you are in US, Amazon is selling Samsung CAD300UB for $6.69! RRP is $19.
I was wondering if anybody knows if the Verizon galaxy tab travel charger, SAMTABTVL will work for rapid charging the Sprint P100 tab.

I lost my charger. I have 2 options for a 2A charger, wife's iPad and my Nook Color, but they both charge the P100 very slowly, like from a laptop USB port. I like the price and form factor of the Verizon charger much better, but no sense buying if it only rapid charges the I800 model.
Thanks
Hello,
I don't know about the Verizon charger, but you can buy (Amazon UK, Ebay or even self-build) an adapter to use non Samsung chargers (e.g. your Nook Color charger).
Have a look here: Usb charge
Regards, Juergen
Thanks. Saw that. Have one in my Ebay cart for $6.50 just in case. Would rather have dedicated wall charger for $18 though if the Verizon one will rapid charge.
Hello, how are you folks doing.
I was hoping to purchase a charger that would work in the US, as I ordered my note from clove.co.uk and it shipped with a UK charger (no surprise there).
Perferably, this would be the fast (AC) charger.
I was considering getting a Japanese model, as the plugs and voltage are similar, until I decided that the differences were just enough that it would be a dumb idea (charger would be over-volted and current would flow at a different frequency).
I've seen some non-OEM solutions, but was wondering if there was an OEM one, or if you guys had some experience with aftermarket chargers (as they do technically void the warranty- I selected Clove because they promised they would take care of the warranty if need be, but don't want to add other variables to the mix).
Thanks in advance.
Just get an iphone or ipod touch charger if you don't already have one. They are related 5V and 1A, and just like your stock charger. It is much smaller in size, and only $5 or less on Ebay.
The official genuine Samsung Adapter in India is compatible with all the voltages worldwide. All you need is the Pin conversion plug which costs one or two dollars. After that, you're ready to go. The original genuine Samsung Adapter costs somewhere in the range of 4-5 dollars. Its a genuine official samsung adapter, what more do you want. cheers
See, I've been using a generic 5V charger for the US, but it outputs at 500mA, not 1A. The phone would charge twice as fast with a 1A charger, lol
Awesome, you just made me realize there was a difference between the two chargers I am using. One says .7A and the other says 850ma. So the 850ma should charge faster correct?
What is the model of the earphones / headset that come with the Note 2?
What is the model of the charger that comes with the Note 2?
Where can I buy extra's of the above? ebay sells a lot of fakes; anyone has a link for the originals?
Also, can I use an existing data cable (used on galaxy s) on galaxy note 2?
Lastly, are the 1amp OEM chargers on ebay.com original/genuine?
please let me know, thanks
I have the Tmobile US version so I don't know if this will help.
Headset Model # GH59-11720A
Charger Model # ETA-U90JWE
I searched google for the headset and got a lot of results. But the charger was hard to find. I'm pretty sure you can use your existing data cable or any data cable as long as it has a micro usb port and decent wire gauge/thickness. I personally don't shop ebay for electronics anymore. I see too many fakes and things would work at first but then fail at some point. Unless you find a reputable seller.
I just checked the headphones, they are exactly the same as the Galaxy S3 ones, Serial: EHS64AVFWE(GH59-11720A) F /Non PVC...
Thanks, and what about the charger?
Are these accessories good to buy from ebay? I see sellers attempting to sell these items as OEM / Original / Bulk. Are these really genuine and Made by Samsung, or fakes (Made by 3rd parties)?
Are these accessories original?

The first charger is a 1 amp charger. The Note II comes with a 2 amp charger like the one you list third. Mine was white though, not black (even though my Note II is charcoal grey). The earphones are OEM.
I've been out of town and only bought a couple chargers with me. I'm finding some weirdness as I do some tests with these and some other device I borrowed while here.
Basically, the M8 Charger seems to only work to charge the M8. It doesn't work to charge a Galaxy S5 or an iPhone.
I have successfully used the following to charge all 3 phones:
- Computer USB (0.5 - 1.0 A)
- iPhone Charger (1A)
- iPad Charger (2.1A)
- RAV power brick (2.1A)
However the M8 charger will ONLY charge the M8.
It clearly isn't an amperage issue since the M8 charger is only 1.5A.
So what is it?
Since all the other adapters I tried seemingly work on the M8, but the M8 adapter only works on the M8, I'm wondering why I don't just throw the M8 charger into the "bin of forgotten things" ?

Yeah I think they are but you will get a better answer from the m8 users
I think the question you need to ask is, why your M8 charger isn't charging other devices, yet my one does!?

I've used my M8 charger for a Note II, an iPod and an iPad with no issues. Something's wonky with yours, imo.
I don't know, but something is off about mine. The stock ROM throws a fit about it not being the OEM charger and that it's in slow charge mode. It's the stock OEM charger I took out of the box one week ago. Lol. 1.5A and all.
It does still charge though, and it charged my HTC Droid Incredible, iPod 5G and Classic, along with my BlackBerry Z10. No issue there. Just the opposite.
I'll assume it's ok though, I just plug it in for the night. And I'm now on the GPe ROM so it doesn't pop up slow charging info, and I don't miss it.
I'm wondering if it just can't match the 1.5A it's supposed to have, maybe falling short? I'd try a 2A charger, but I haven't got any since I sold my iPad. And my Z10, Dinc, and iPhone/iPod chargers are all 1.0A. But since I only charge it at night, it doesn't make a difference anyway.
I'd love to know what's up with yours though. Something about HTC chargers seem to be odd. The one from my 2010 Incredible works, but makes a terrible whine so I can't even use it. It started maybe a year in and I switched to another brick that's been fine since.
Maybe you should try charge to BlackBerry playbook?
