[Q] problem with cyanogen 9

hello everyone
i have a problem, for me a big problem .
The porting created by Squadzone (thanks man i love you ) of ICS with cyanogen mod 9 is fantastic but i can't start up my phone with my sim .(Operator:TIM) After the boot the cyanogen is much slow and after 1 minute it reboot while without the sim the rom is fantastic !
How i can fix it ??

2° my friend in italy have the galaxy mini and cyanogen 9 with wind and the sim works !
3°I have spoken in many, even on other devices, which may be an incompatibility with the sim and wanted to know if someone already has happened or if I could OTHER SQUADZONE or give an explanation.
4°you are the noob at this time

Q:Can I just ask all of these issues on their thread?
A:I, as well as everyone else, will bash you and call you names if you do.
Q:Is this ROM good for daily use? how is the stability?
A:This ROM is mostly ready for daily use, yes, some things remain to be fixed, but stability is really good, and so is overall smoothness.
Q: Does Hardware acceleration work?
A:Not fully, video can't be recorded at 720p as of version 2.0 and lower video resolutions are color shifted.
Q: Does Camera(for pictures) work?
A:Yes, fully and at all resolutions.
Q: Do Sensors(accelerometer, etc...) work?
A:Yes, fixed in 2.0.
Q: Does this MIUI build allows us to pull down the notification panel from a fullscreen app?
A:Yes, yes it does.
Q:I took a screenshot with the built in feature but I can't find it !
A:If you're using 1.0 it's in the /cache folder (use a root explorer). In 1.5 (credit to gsal for noticing this) there is an error saving to the SD card and images can only be captured when the sd card is not mounted. The location they're saved in is /data/sdcard/MIUI/
Q:My carrier is definitely not a huge string of numbers, what do I do?
A:Open up MIUI control panel app->statusbar->Carrier options and set the custom carrier to your liking(or just hide it).
Q:How do I change how the battery is displayed?

A:Yes, fully.
Q:Is GPS working?
A:Not for me, as well as some other users, but developers say it does, so it might be device or location specific.

Q:Can I switch music tracks with volume keys?
A:Yes, it is implemented since v1.5
Q:When will this rom... ?
A:Just wait patiently, the devs already know what is and what is not working and are troubleshooting those issues. Asking for ETA's is morally unacceptable (this applies to all of XDA too.)
Q:How is the battery life?
A:Using only 2g and some wifi, I got easily 20+ hours with medium use, considering drain overnight is very low.
Q: Does USB mass storage mode work?
A:Yes, It also remembers your choice for automatic mounting.
Q:Wifi is not reactivating after screen off
A:Set the sleep policy to never sleep.

Full hardware acceleration for video camera [720p quality -> camera crashes, 480p looks like it records, but saves a corrupt file, other two save with a color shift]
Front cam not accessible
Clock app FC when setting a new alarm(it gets set though)FIXED IN v2.0
In VOIP Calls instead of the front speaker, the audio comes from the back speaker.
MMI codes not working.
Upon receiving an sms soft-keys light up in blue and only restore normal functionality on device unlock.
In Chinese, T9 prediction doesn't work in Dialer.(worked in 2.6 patchrom MIUI)
Setting an mp3/song as a ringtone doesn't work with the default settings, just with a third party app (music player) - credits to yuiq0504

Occasional "strange effect" on phone unlock.

Usb works flawlessly on v1.5 both manually activating mass storage mode and remembering your choice to do so automatically.

for me its working just have to turn on something like "Mound SD Card" in Notification Bar!

aptoide and aptoide repostery, ando 2 or 3 more but i cant remember which were

About the call end bug.
Since the sensors are not working, removing the phone from ur face will not turn on the screen. So u are left to press the power button to "unlock" the screen so u can press the end button. Thats when it gets stuck.
The only bypass is to let the other person hang up first.

really thanks for this buglist i just wanna say another bug i have on my OB, when i take a video with the camera i can't read her so if you know what program can read the video please say me because with vplayer and QQplayer that's doesn't work.

I just tested it, and after transferring the videos to my pc, I can confirm that the files are corrupt, no way to play the videos even on the PC.
more detailed information on OP

I flashed the gps fix and i was able to get a fix in one minute but i was inside the house.i used gps test and sygic since is the only destinator app i own.

I will test it out today with endomondo and google maps and edit the post.
EDIT: Europe fix doesn't work for me, I ran 6km this morning and didn't even get a location fix

First of all i envy you because i recently suffered torn cruciate ligaments and i need surgery but in greece it is impossible atm.regarding the gps it finds 5 satellites max.i think that it won't be able to maintain the signal for a long distance.i asked flatzki if it is possible to attach a setup like cm7 in zeus rom.i think that works great.overall the rom kicks @ss and the language pack works perfect except from the vibration.everything is in greek.

Yeah this rom is great, I only need the ability to switch to 2g manually and i'll be happy.Don't really care that much about GPS, would be nice to have it fully functional though.

Thank you very much.i think that the gps will be fixed sooner or later.the highlight for me is theming.awesome work.and it is even greater if you think that some ppl said that with no stable cm no miui.it seems to me that little things are missing for full stability.and is definitely suitable for daily use.

Voip Calls ( sip calls ) are not working in earphone..
you cant talk in headphone or front speakers.. always back speaker on..
even in cm7 this issue is there.. for me its big bug..

So, if I understand this right, audio always comes from the back speaker. Is your voice always transmitted?

MMI codes doesen't work for me and when somebody send me message my touch keys are lighting on blue colour and never turn off, i must unlock screen and then are white.

[ROM] Sense 3.5 based port (2.3.5)

This is a sense 3.5 port for HTC Legend from the same dev team who ported MIUI, Lewa and so many other ROMs for HTC Legend. Credit goes to them. This ROM is still not fully functional and yes there are some bugs and Chinese parts.
Everything works except for WiFi and Bluetooth. Interface is super smooth and fast. Hope Devs from our forum can fix the bugs and make this fully functional. Give it a try if you are a sense lover. Hit the thanks button if i helped

This ROM has some features of sense 4. But have to wait and see

rom sucks because it has been stripped of most of the htc sense like gallery browser certain widgets its like useing cm7 with a special theme

Its way to smooth... awesome work team..
all we want is that WiFi n Bluetooth working. Its like a dream come true for my legend...

Really Nice Rom!!! Smooth and everything, have not had any random Fc's of any app or from another task. What I really miss is the wifi since right now I dont have a data plan, but let us hope it gets fix soon. Thanks to the developers on this.

This is my second day of using this fabulous ROM. I have observed below issues apart from WiFi and Bluetooth problem which has already been reported :
1. Play store crashes.
2. Chinese language not fully converted to English on many screens.
3. Calculator app resolution needs correction
4. Sense gallery and browser required
5. Camera app gets stuck when clicked on preview
6. Sense music widget is missing
Hoping for dev team to join their hands to improve this wonderfull ROM.

MARKET FIX !!!!!!!
Play store/market problem can be resolved.
just flash the gapps.sign in using your gmail[if you already done just skip it].install the titanium back up and remove the playstore/market.install the moded version http://www.MegaShare.com/4199830 [you can use the normal version too ]
after that wipe data and convert the playstore/market to system app.
for me its working ,check it and tell me its working or not....

One more issue is that music player glitches while playing music and unlocking the device or opening other apps.

Hi,
I'm interested in fixing the wifi for this but logcat does not work, which makes it hard for me to find what the problem is. In my research I've found that the dev needs to enable debug or logging in the kernel for logcat to work, so I was just wondering if you were able to do this.
EDIT: Swapped the boot.img for ogo2's. Enables logcat but brings with it more problems Won't stop bootlooping.

in the boot.img with ramdisk maybe no adb to support。it can add in
but we also have the wifi modules and the kenerl for sense 3.5。 may be have the libhardware_legacy.so to 。 I have this files 。 if you want ，you can Gmail me 。I sent to you [email protected]

Select an album then select an image from that album. When you are viewing the images it shows "1 off 3" instead of "1 of 3". Touch the screen if necessary to show the title.
This is far better than the stock gallery app, thanks.

thumbs for videos is there in my cell
reinstall if not getting thumbs
working to add sorting options
and soon app will be available in different themes and colors
this is the V1
so version info will be added in next releases

Just a point... please del the vid function. Its a gallery app, not a video player. And I think it would be much smaler and faster then.

It's an iPhone style gallery. The iPhone gallery plays videos.

Didnt have an iphone, sorry.
But for me, a gallery app, should shows pictures, not more.
Anyway, I like ur work!

remove the voice search from the system.
update Google search to Google now it works fine.for me no launcher fc seen.

Very good ,,, smooth...will stick to this rom now...but auto brightness is not enough to use on Sunlight...

disable auto brightness.
enable status bar brightness.control in system settings. set to your required brightness by sliding the finger

if you are on JB rom. just update the google search app in play store, after update it will be Google NOW.
else just install google search for JB from platstore. it consists NOW and Voice search.

This is a great development for the FIH-FB0 community!
I've used aben's latest cm10 but mobile data is not working.
This latest build of aben doesn't even store apn.
Can anyone help?

Camera flickers and wifi tether not working
Hi,
Anybody got these issues? i have installed and using this ROM. I have observed the green flicker in camera app and hang in wifi tether.
And
Is there any FM app that runs in this ROM ?

How to display Operator names in this ROM for Indian Operators
Hi All,
Anybody knows how to get Proper names for Operators instead of "Unknown".
Is there any files/config to change in the ROM?
Right now all operaters are listed as Unknown and cant pick proper one in the
Manual Network selection.
Please help..

Don,t worry this thing will be improved as still long way to go
IF you are using any other music player icon will be shown during insertion
Apollo detect only when you open the app

i am using this rom for 4 days.. All features are working fine even gps Lock also quick. i am very happy with this rom in all those things. i also reduced the clock to 768mhz and still working smoothly. the only thing i am not happy with this rom is its multitasking. while playing songs if i open other applicationd or browse net some jurky in sound play. i have changed cpu governeres
and still same problem. can anybody suggest which is the best cpu governer for this rom? or can i use ck kernel? or any other tweeks for this?
i have also observed the battery drain is very high compared to RC3 or MIUI 2.8.3. i used those roms erlier.

hello all, actually i'm newbie but i know a little bit about android. I was success flash this ROM and i like it, but i just find little bugs here, the gallery not shown my pics in the SD card and google play music haven't load the music files too. :crying: how to fix it? anybody has the same problem too? i've just try to clear the media storage and reboot the device, but still same. i've try to restore the data via TB but also not solve the problem. if i delete the google gallery, the camera apps gone too.

I've tried this ROM. I got a bugs so far, such as: The softkeys's lamp doesn't bright (eventhough the keys are work). Can't detect to LED TV with micro HDMI cable. Live view on camera had a green flicker, eventhough the results are not problem. Instead, live view on camcorder are not problem but the results had a flicker video. And, tethering wifi doesn't work.
Anyone can fix these bugs?

i also have following Bugs...
Live view on camera had a green flicker,eventhough the results are not problem.
Appollo doesnt show album art. all white.....
Headphone detection Notiification not displayed.
Sometimes Network bar shows zero sigal, but incoming call works... BUT Cant make outgoing calls- shows no network coverage. Restarting helps to remove this bug.

new Fix by Gundul46 resovethe problem of green flicker after click
use MIUI or any other Music Player like Google... you will get album art
Headphone in notification .... yes that is an issue
