Just ran this script on my CM9'd 8.9.
It's amazing. Scrolling lag is gone, 'sticky' scrolling is gone. I can load up engadget and the whole website is loaded from top to bottom, can scroll up and down it without waiting for anything to load it's so smooth.
Best of all, press the home button and it doesn't keep having to redraw widgets.
Go install V6 Supercharger now people.
Go.

There you go mate, make sure you follow the ics only instructions on post #2 as well!
Its very simple, just make sure to install busy box 1.18.2. Any other version won't work.

What'd you mean? I'm running Cyanogenmod 9 ROM, and the V6 supercharger script has definitely worked.
You do need to edit the services.jar tho but its all explained in the thread.

Shame it doesn't work on the stock rom, I love the Samsung stuff and TouchWiz needs speeding up more than anything, I don't wanna lose the social hub though.

As nice as the hubs are, I'd use a custom rom over the stock any day of the week. The stock roms just too slow and laggy, makes the hubs useless. I'd rather have a smooth device...yeah it means using crappy apps like plume and friendcaster, but gets the job done...

Hey mates!
I would like to know is there any dev who could port this rom [ http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1581065
[ROM][UCLE2][6/3] The Hybrid RC_6.2 hide-able statusbar + 4way power menu ***Hawt ] to our international note, as im not a dev myself and dont know anything about creating roms..? Ive been waiting for a rom like that as long as I have had my note... Really love the CM/Aosp with tablet mode, but also prefer more TW apps so this i just the perfect rom for me, and I believe there is alot of other users too who would love to get this rom
Waiting for your answers

Not most of the times also! Only sometimes.
Nighty is an update which has less changes from the previous version. It is an update which is given out on a regular basis!
So, the latest nightly is an updated version of the stable version which has lesser changes. But, nightly might also be untested for stability! But for me, nightly is very stable!
By the way to be honest I haven't searched for this, please forgive me. Is there any tutorial on how to make a cm ROM from source ??? what do I need to know ??? what languages ???

Errr... Coding is different from compiling. I code Android Apps. Compiling is just doing a git pull and modding some files.
If you want to properly compile it, use Git and grab sources from the Cyanogenmod repo from CLI.
Btw... I highly recommended you use Linux to compile it on. Use debian or Ubuntu.

You know,it is really easy to make a simple app which just pulls tweet and stuff, don't want to go into details...If coding is different from compiling(to an extent it is) then maybe you could explain how you could debug certain errors and also add new modifications..

we are not able to get stable cm10/10.1 and you are talking about 4.3/cm10.2 ....i dont think we will ever get a stable bugless cm or aosp......
Hi folks,
I finally managed how to get HALO into cm10.1.
This is pure cm10.1 by androidarmv6 team with halo.
For sources I succesfully adapted the first commit by Ugoraffaele and all the ParanoidAndroid's commits.
Hope you guys enjoy it.
My sources are on my GitHub, of course patches are welcome.
To do:
-Resize the bubble layout since the text doesn't fit completly.
-Create ldpi drawables. DONE.
-Put all the HALO options in a sub menu. DONE.
-Update to cm10.1.4. DONE.
-Add an option to completly disable HALO.
-Update to HALO 2.0. MAYBE IMPOSSIBLE.
All the credits goes to:

Many people have tried your ROM bro... Even ME
Halo works just fine... Infact I just had one Reboot till now... i am using it.
But the performance of the rom as any are pointing out is not that good because its 4.2.2
And iI am not able to flash performance enhancing scripts... it causes bootloop I tried every possible script out there.
So just my opinion is that Try implementing Halo feature on cm 10 if you are free and willing to do it... it will be amazing...
But THANKS for somehow bringing HALO feature to Mini... I love it... I rarely see notification BAR now...
