Vibration intensity Mini 2 - Samsung Galaxy Mini

The vibration is too weak when receiving voice calls in silent mode. Any way to edit its intensity?

if you are on stock there is must be an option for it in sounds category
if on custom it depends on kernel

I'm on stock rom but there isn't any options. Honestly, I prefer muting all sounds except calls in silent mode.

go to sys/class/timed_output/vibrator
if you can see "duty" named file then open it with a text editor
and type 40903 and save it

Thanks but I didn't even root

the mobile will not charge you anything for that
just try it, may work without root

I've tried to open with file manager and show hidden files. Couldn't find it. Need root?

Are you rooted?!

Root Explorer should work.
You need to be rooted and have the system mounted as R/W
have the same problem. Phone is rooted, rootexplore asked for super ursser permission, is set to R/W and still i can't change gps.conf in etc folder! i mean i'm copy/paste the change one but it remains the same! WTF?
Have you tried setting the permissions? Long press and hit permissions. Select the ones you want and try again.
Check if the SU permission is correctly attributed to root explorer, or give it again

[Q] How Do I Remove The Anime Wallpaper In Gingercruzt 8.1?

Exactly what the title says...so please help me
Am I right when I say that you´ve wrote this with your X8?
Becasue there is no ROm called "fingerprint", and because your phone didn´t recognize the name, it just changed it to "fibgerprint", a word from the dictionary that was the most similar to it.
To answer your question:
Go to your homescreen/one of your homescreens, search a free place (that means, that there are no widgets or links to apps, just the background.
Then, put your finger on that free place and leave it there for 2 seconds.
Then, a windows should pop up, that asks you what you want to add to your homescreen.
Choose:"Background image" and then choose another from your gallery/the CM-background images/the live wallpaper gallery and add another one.
Sorry...i wrote the wrong sentence...i was talking about the Anime wallpapers in gingercruzt..that is disturbing...i just need some good Rom not a Rom with pictures like that...can you help me?i want them gone forever...something like deleting lib or anything....and yeah....im using my phone
you can find the wallpapers inside /system/media/wallpapers
you have two options for delete
1- using root explorer or any other file explorer with root permission from inside your phone
2- open the updateGCR8.1 Rom file from your PC with winrar and point to the wallpapers and right click delete "do not extract just right click open" then update it through recovery as you did when installing on your phone
Default one will stay anyway, it is in resources
Just load any wallpaper/s from market.

Silent camera shutter. Its still not silent??

Hi guys!
First off sorry for making a new thread about this. I read 3 or 4 on the subject but Im still having no luck.
I dont want to have to mute the volume everytime I want to take a photo
so I prefer changing it in the system.
My model is a Korean Note so that "could" be why I cant diable the shutter sound.
My phone is rooted and in Astro file manager, I went into the appropriate location and added the extension .off, .bak, .backup I tried all three when I tredi to rename the Shutter_01.ogg, and it still doesnt work
Any ideas? Thanks!!!
Try renaming the "ui" directory. If that works, then you'll know it's one of the other OGG files in there. Then if that works, look for something camera-related. I think different ROMs use different sound files.

Which file explorer are you using? Even though your Note is rooted, the file explorer you use still has to run as root (e.g. Root Explorer).
I think in my ui directory, I have a few sound files beginning with "camera". You could try renaming those one at a time (if you have them).
delete Shutter_01.ogg at system/media/audio/ui
edit: sorry didnt read all your post and if u deleted that file it shouldnt give any sound while taking photo, strange :/

[Q] any way to get shot ?

is there any way to get shot of the auto screen brightness on my X8?
it really annoys me because i have the brightness turned upto full but the screen will only go at its brightest when its in high lighting conditions (obviously).
but i want it so its at its full brightness like its in bright lighting conditions. i dont care about battery life, i have 3 spare batteries for my X8.
so is there any way to disable it at all with hacks and stuff. the phone still has its original Android 2.1 on but is rooted to use a custom launcher.
Yea,just if u use a camera or something.
The brightness will not be seen if u just make a screen shot.

Disable camera shutter sound on LOLLIPOP

hi guys,
big problem:
the camera "shutter sound menu" is not shown on LOLLIPOP!!! i found this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2795566
but nothing of this tips will work (no feature.xml, no others.xml AND NO ´/system/csc/´ folder exists. deleting the OGG files in the media folder will also not work). i think this will work on KK only. so i open a new thread for a lollipop-solution.
does a mod exist to enable the camera shutter sound menu ??? I HATE THE CAMERA-SOUNDS (click,click,click,click,click..... and all eyes on you); TERRIBLE!
regards,
chris
(device: G900F / Android 5.0 / BB G900FXXU1BOK1, stock rom but rooted)
nobody an idea????
You can just rename or delete the shutter sound inside system/media.
no way! after restarting the cam-app the files will be replaced.

Thats not true, I've done it. The system cant create a new audio file. Use root explore and rename all the camera click sounds in the system media folder. It really is that easy.

sorry, it doesn´t work. i deleted the files with root-explorer, but the sounds are not silent.
i toke a look into the "samsungcamera3.apk". the sounds are stored in this apk-paket. i think that´s the problem.
chris
This was what I was referring to but you can try wanam xposed for lolipop it has the option to remove the click sound. Requires xposed framework also.
