You have to be extremely persistent. I was so passed I went home from work early but I kept refreshing the 8gb Page and it seemed like it would let me add it to cart every minute or so. But every time I added it as soon as I got to the next Page it would empty my cart. I thought it was just a bug and I wasn't really adding it but since I was just sitting on train I just kept at it. It took me about 45 minutes of refreshing but I finally got to the payment screen then it emptied my cart. Then finally after a bunch of retires I got the payment screen to go through! I can post the pic. Confirmation email came almost immediately. Bought it 1:24pm EST
Please use one of the existing threads for this discussion, there are several.
Thanks

Hiya. I have a Kyocera Zio with Cricket. Last week at some point, I got a text message saying that an update was available. So I went through the settings and checked for an update and it asked me if I wanted to begin download (I was on WiFi). I did so, less than a minute later, it asked me if I wanted to reboot. I did so, remembering that there are supposed to be three parts to the update. It told me there was an update, I accepted, it asked again to reboot, so I did. The third time, it told me there was an update, I accepted and waited.
It was taking a while, so I left it plugged in to do as it would. I came back later to find it continuously rebooting. It would show the Kyocera screen, the Cricket screen, and finally the Android screen, but then it would reboot. I left it again just in case. Close to an hour later, it was doing the same, so I took out the battery, put it back in and tried again. The same series of continuous rebooting happened. I tried on and off for a few days and only once got something different - at some point, having done nothing differently, it got to the 1.6 lock screen, but was frozen there.
Yesterday, I took it to a corporate store and asked them to reset it. They did so. It got to the screen where it tells you to touch the android (sounds dirty, really) and the animated hand - which was animated - but it didn't react to my touch. I also couldn't turn it off. Figuring I'd be waiting another hour if I put my name in the machine to get in line again, I took the battery out and left, hoping I could figure it out when I got home.
Now, the "end call" button does indeed work, because it will turn the phone on. The "volume up", "start call", trackball, and "end call" work because the reset combination works (though it gets stuck with text on the Kyocera screen). However, when the phone is turned on normally, it gets to the "touch the android" screen with the animated hand, but doesn't accept any input, whether button or touch screen.
Is this phone bricked?
Take it back to the cricket store that reset it. Its now their liability. If your phone is borked, they may be liable to give you a new one.

I would have to concur. Anything we can help you do would put the liability back into your hands. We can offer advice on how to fix your problem but it should be used as a "last resort" if the store simply cannot help you.
Feel free to come back, should you need to.
My orginal zio did the same thing on march 4th.
Did everything to a t and all it kept doing was a constant rebooting loop my 1.6 desktop came up but my screen would not respond to my touches just kept rebooting after 2 or 3 minutes.
Took it to the corp store and the women who works there told me on march 6th that the update is not sopossed to be released to the public yet and that i shouldnt have installed it and accused me of using a pirated version of the 2.2 and that is why my phone is bricked.
I told her no i didn't that i had a check mark on the task bar (i call it a task bar cause it looks like windows a bit) and when i pulled it down it said a kyocera update is avalible and i had to use my wifi to get it.
She was like well we don't have the stuff here to reflash it yet and she was still insisting that i was using a pirated version so she went in the back and asked someone else and then came back out and had a new boxed zio in her hand she was like the update was released and i did not know that i asked her how long you worked here and she was like over 2 yrs (she must not pay attention at the meetings) so she gave me a new phone but charged me 20 dollars to replace the phone cause she was like it was over 30 days or 30 minutes i was madder then a bull with his balls tied up she didn't even give me an apology.
Went to mcdonalds down the road cause they got free wifi and did the update again and it went thru 100% this time.
Now i can't root my phone to get my boot screen back on androot and root explorer don't want to play nice together.
Do not stop trying keep pressing f5 to refresh page your order will go through just dont stop refreshing the page.
Took me 10 times in chromuim to get order through system . Dont stop trying it will work it takes time.
Confirmed. I've been watching the page for 10 minutes now, toggling between the two devices, and I've seen both come back in stock several times. You have to act quick on it as it can disappear from your cart if you don't go to payment fast enough.
Well charged my card they better send out my product now. One says its cancelled yet the card has been charged at my bank. This system just better have a hiccup. Cause I need the phone. They weren't ready for all us customers.
Cant figure out what there doing ,but my credit card is charged. So they better send me the phone....
This is crazy!
I want to tell you to beware & to check your bank statements if you have made in-app purchases in Madden 25. If you play, you no doubt have realized that it is unstable & a lot of time things do not come thru, forcing you to re-purchase. This happens with Madden Cash, with promotional cards & even with completed collection.
unfortunately, if Madden fails, even if it says it fails, sometimes you cannot re-purchase without a restart because Play Store continually fails, or errors out, or says you already own this & will not let you purchase again.
Even though you do not receive your purchased item, until you purchase again, you may be getting double billed by Google. I just got a balance notification & upon checking my account & found a dozen purchase within one to 3 minutes of each other for the exact same thing. So, even if it is crashing before you get your purchase (& it never shows up) you may also be getting charged. Check it out & see if you are a victim of this crap too.
Hello all,
Firstly, I hope this is the right place to put this thread. I did a search and did not find anyone else having this issue so I decided to put my post here. I am having a problem with my note 4 randomly restarting a few times every hour. It goes through its shutdown procedure and turns right back on. Occasionally it will shutdown and stay off. It seems to be software related, but I'm no expert on these things. I did however download 'Device Temperature' from the play store to check to see if it might be overheating. As far as I can tell it has stayed a cool 24-25 degrees Celsius (77 Fahrenheit) the entire time.
It does this at unpredictable times, whether or not the phone is in my pocket, in my hands, or laying flat on a desk with or without the charger plugged in.
I don't think I can take it back to Tmobile to have it replaced as I bought it from a friend a few weeks ago to use on cricket. This just started 2 days ago.
The device is SIM unlocked, but not rooted with stock everything. It's still in mint condition and to my knowledge has never been dropped.
Can anyone help?
More Information
I did a Google search for "Galaxy Note 4 Random Reboot" and I found some information saying to reformat my SD card or try doing a factory reset on the phone.
I tried both (I actually removed the SD card completely instead of just reformating it), and about a half hour later... boom restart again. FML.
Once again I turn to the wonderful folks at XDA for help. Thanks to all in advance.
Sounds like it could be bad eMMC flash memory. Go with your friend and have Tmobile replace it. Also get Square Trade insurance if you can.
Got it fixed
I called Samsung about the issue and after some brief troubleshooting they recommended having it reflashed at a samsung experience center. The closest one to me was in a Best Buy. I dropped it off, after explaining what was happening, and an hour later it was ready to be picked working good as new. I haven't noticed it restart even once since.
Samsung offered to replace the entire unit but it would cost me $28 for 2 day shipping (assuming that they had my model in stock). I will go that route if the issue returns. I'm hoping not to go this route because I already paid for this phone to be unlocked once - I'd rather not pay again if I don't have to.
I'll keep you guys updated if the rebooting issue returns again.
Also check to make sure the battery is properly seated and contacts are not bent/damaged.

This. I kept having this issue with my Note 3 and could not figure it out. Eventually I just took out the battery, cleaned the contacts, put it back in, and it never had a random reboot after that.
Are you guys running any custom roms, or is it still stock?
I have the 32GB model Edge, it's now been twice I noticed the phone shut itself off completely (and very abruptly) seemingly while in Amazon Appstore downloading/Installing an App. The Appstore beforehand crashed. Does anyone know of this being a known issue or is my phone bad possibly? I only saw a handful of results when searching random shut downs on the S6. Thanks in advance. Just got this yesterday...
*I had to turn it back on with the power button, incase anyone is wondering.
Just an update: After reading online at different sites, and it being less than 24 hours with (3) shut offs, 2 at Amazon Appstore and one at the Best Buy App, I opted to have Verizon replace the phone with another brand new one. Process took about 30 minutes in store, crossing my fingers this one is good. Will keep updated.
*Doing the same on this unit, does not randomly shut off. Problem solved by replacement.
