First I'd like to state this is not in relation to the 4.2 update. Has anyone noticed apps from Google Play being very slow to download? I'm in the northeast in NY and anytime I try to download an app it downloads at about 150kb/s. This is while using two different Bionics and my Nexus 7 with multiple connection methods.

I have the latest Gapps installed on CM6.1 stable. I went to the Market to check if I have the latest version of Shazam, only to find that neither the free nor paid version is showing up. Anyone else seeing this?

I have CM 6.1 RC2-N1 installed, and I had Shazam installed. Not sure if it makes a difference but I searched the Market and Shazam appears just saying Manual Update which I refuse to do. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
Just unclear if it only appeared since I already had it installed
I have it installed already too, but it's not showing up for me in the Market.

Not showing up at all, or just not showing up in the 'downloads' list?
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
Not showing up in search nor in downloads.

Strange! Never heard of that before...

Cleared the Market data. That fixed it.

I used to be able to dl files from sites like uploading.com now for the last couple months every time I try I get "download complete", but its just a fake little file under 50k, not the file I clicked.
Help.

will it work. Remember that these sites make you go through a countdown, then click a button that pops up once the timer is done.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App
I've had some success, if you can grab the file link after the countdown...

No go. That doesn't work. Help someone. Please

It works strom the stock browser for me, but not other browsers.

Create a hotspot/tether and download through a pc.
Try checking the download outside market in settings

This has actually been happening to me too using the stock browser with MicroMod's AOSP gingerbread build. No idea why it's happening, and the only way to download successfully from these sites is to use the Firefox beta I have on my device.
Changing the out of market setting never worked.

I was playing around with my bionic and decided to check if there were any updates to any apps. Opened the market and was prompted to agree to terms and conditions, which I thought was strange, since i did this when I first got the phone. Went to my apps and the only two showing up are maps and youtube and it says they aren't installed even though they are. I have well over 100 apps installed and want to be able to easily update them. I can only assume there was another update to the market and it messed things up. my apps were restored from titanium backup from my x, am running the unleashed ROM, but did not have this issue until about 10 min ago. Already fixed permissions and rebooted phone. Any suggestions?

Do you have multiple emails synced to the phone?
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using XDA App
Ok, I feel like an idiot. I have multiple gmail accounts on the phone and I was not set to my primary one within the market.

Ok so I've lurked here for awhile. This is my first post I believe. Any ways I used to have the original atrix 4G and loved it minus the battery. Had it for a little over a year till I bricked it. Ended using an iPhone for a little while but now I'm back and got the atrix hd. I noticed now though that I can't watch videos embedded in pages in such. And I can't find the flash player in the market... What's going on lol. Any help would be great. Also I've seen some talk of a razr maxx battery swap. Is there any instructions out there? Thank you in advance.

To get flash, you need to go to adobe.com then get downloads, then you should be able to get android download, then it takes you to a hidden piece of play store where you can download it.
If you are still using the same google account that you had with your Atrix 4g, go to my apps and find it there. Adobe removed it from the play store and only people who purchased it before can download it
You can install flash here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.adobe.flashplayer&feature=more_from_developer
Thanks guys and that kinda worked. But the volume is real low and some videos it still just downloads. Any ideas

Ive noticed that Some browsers download it ( opera) and others play it (chrome). U should try a different browser maybe that helps.

Sweet that worked. I guess firefox doesn't like it. Now a new question what's the best task killer? Seems my phone is always running slow and advanced task killer and android booster both won't auto kill.
Sent from my MB886 using xda app-developers app
Well, Android 4.0 has an task killer itself. Just hold down the multitasking button (the squares) or home button on older phones and it will show recent apps. Once they appear swipe to either side and that closes the app.

But a bunch of apps or open using my ram that I haven't even used since getting the phone.

Got "app cache cleaner"...happy with it!
Auto cleaning and one tap widget...
Thanks for the tip.

thats how android works ... if you get a taskiller, it will still open them, and then get killed by your taskkiller, then opened again, killed again and so on
the end result is worse battery...
Iono it just seems my atrix 4G ran faster.

I just rooted the new ota .246 and I want to stay stock rooted but get rid of the bloat and what not. Is there a list or can aome one tell me what can and cannot be deleted/frozen without causing problems?
Thanks
Sent from my DROID BIONIC using xda app-developers app
Don't know if it causes problems but I disabled the following (via the stock Manage Apps settings).
Apps
City ID
MOG Music
Slacker Radio
Sling Box
V Cast Tones
VZ Navigator
More are likely candidates but that is where I started off...
Thanks for the reply
