Hi, I have tried the guides on this website to flash a new baseband to no avail. The lg tool keeps telling me my software is already up to date. Any help would be appreciated.

I was trying to get my LG optimus 2x (canada fido model) back to its original stock rom, but stupid me wasn't paying attention to the rom i was flashing. I had flashed the stock t-mobile rom on my fido p990 device... Now it doesn't recognize my battery percentage, cant connect to a data signal, and various other things are not working. Ive tried flashing other p990 roms on my device but i keep getting the status 7 message, my device will only take a p999 rom now. ive used a build.prop editor to try and change the ro.product.device value to p990 but it still gives me the status 7 error message.
Any feedback as to what i need to do to get my phone back to running as a p990 device would be greatly appretciated!

the only links i could find on here for the stock canadian fido rom have the file taken down can you give me a link?

HI im new here, i just rooted my lg thrill p925 model with cynagogen rom, everything works fine, i am t mobile. I just inserted my sim card in the phone but says no service. I restore apn, network mobile, nothing. I read a post here but nothing happend, plz help. This is a gift for my wife by hers birthday. Any help will be apreciate!!! Im in a hurry PLZ HELP!!!
Did you install the P925 or P920 (Optimux 3D) version of CM? If you're on a GB baseband, make sure you install the P920 version and NOT the P925 version. I had the same problem.

i fixed it!!
i tried flashing the p920 version instead of the p925 one and it works!! im not exactly sure why (but id love for someone to explain it to me: like what is baseband, etc), but it worked!

I was running CM10 on LG P990.
I downgraded and installed stock rom using the:
BIN_LGP990AT-00-V20h-ESA-XXX-MAR-07-2012-0.zip

So now I have BB 725 V20h.
I then try to connect and update the firmware using LG Support Tool, It says new firmaware is available and "Start Updating" , but when i start updating , after "Analysing" it says "Model not supported".
When i check Supported models tab --> it shows LG P990 is supported and latest firmware is V30b.
Could someone help me update to V30b using LG Support Tool.
Use the attached program, much easier and simpler.
Type P990 on model ofc, and enter your phones IMEI without using any -
Newest firmware, ICS (V30A or V30B) will appear and you can directly save it as .kdz which you need to extract and then you can flash it.

I've got almost exactly the same problem.
I've flashed V10D to my P990, and the software update menu on the phone says: "already latest version"
The update tool says also update available, and also "software update not supported for this model"

Froyo is realy bad after the V30A leak.
I really want the official (benelux) update and not the V30A leak.

I just bought LG Optimus 2x SU660. Currently the phone is on android version 2.2.2 i tried to update it through LGMobile Support Tool but it says there is no update for this phone. i want to update it on gingerbread. i searched for its stock rom of gingerbread but i didn't find it. Another issue is it doesn't recognize my sim, there is a cross mark above the signals sign. I am in Pakistan and we have different carrier i tried them all, one of them worked fine and shows signal properly but i can't make or receive any call. what i think may be the cell is locked on T network and there's another option of 3g and some application just show something in korean with USIM mentioned. can anyone of you please tell me the possible solution for this issue and also where can i have stock rom for gingerbreag plus how can i install it on my phone.

SU660 stuck to cwm rocovery mode

i have done something really nasty to my fone.
i asked for the help on above post after that i searched a lot of forums and found this link

i followed it and update my su660 to ics 4.0.4 but signal problem still exist.
then i thought to install custom rom so i rooted my cell with unlockroot 2.3 and my su660 got rooted.
after that i want to install cwm 5.0.2.7 using rom manager but it says there is no cwm for SU660.
i downloaded cwm 5.0.2.7 from this link

and tried to install but it get error on commandline screen "apx driver error" or something like it.
i searched and install apx drivers but no gain.

i used nv.rar mentioned on the page and successfully run it. after that my su660 get into recovery mode and i saw recovery menu but i can't do any thing
when i try option "reboot system now" it reboot system but gain start in recovery mode.
when i try to install rom from internal sd it say
E: can't mount /emmc/
when i try to switch it in APX mode screen say "s/w and something in korean language"
when ever i restart by pulling battery out and then in it goes to recovery menu.
in short i am just stuck to the recovery mode.
i dont know what to do know i explored many forums but didn't found any solution.
help from you all is highly appreciated, thanks in advance buddies!
one thing more i am using windows xp.
except then one successful cwm recovery that was done on windows 7 on my office machine.
So it seems that you semi-bricked your phone.
To get it back working you have to flash an Nvflash compatible rom like V10B (if I remember right) and then re-smartflash to the ICS latest V30B.
I don't know why you bought an SU660. That model is made for Asia and I don't think it support the different frequences we are using here. They made it for that purpose. Good Luck!

thanks alot for your kind reply. i actually changed that set that might had some hardware issue. i got another Su660 and worked fine for me, i tried to update it on ics 4 using the following link but unfortunately it shows timeout error after 'partition' command.

then my SU660 restarted and stuck on lg logo.
i tried to use nvflsh with the help of the following link

I bought su660 in november 2012. it was with 2.2.2 too. Few times i have flashed it, but after i flash back 2.2.2. After that with Lg mobile support tool it's updated to 2.3.4 with out problems. And after update it's updated again with LG mobile support tool to 4.0.4 v30C

my phone refuses to connect to the cell network. however, it reads my sim card (SpeakOut Wireless). This began last night when i flashed a SU660 baseband and checked "erase cal data". I have since restored to a stock gingerbread rom with a FLS file, but it still didn't connect. I am currently using the official P990hN rom from the LG Updater, with the V30A baseband (i used it before with no problems). It still won't connect.
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Fixed by flashing a P990 BB with "erase CAL data".

Have you tried smart flashing an ICS BB?
then re flash which ever ROM you have been using if you need....
More issues and if need, try starting with AIOT by SPYROSK.....nvflash from scratch.
