Hello O2X community,
my phone refuses to connect to the cell network. however, it reads my sim card (SpeakOut Wireless). This began last night when i flashed a SU660 baseband and checked "erase cal data". I have since restored to a stock gingerbread rom with a FLS file, but it still didn't connect. I am currently using the official P990hN rom from the LG Updater, with the V30A baseband (i used it before with no problems). It still won't connect.
Any help would be appreciated.
EDIT: Fixed by flashing a P990 BB with "erase CAL data".

Have you tried smart flashing an ICS BB?
then re flash which ever ROM you have been using if you need....
More issues and if need, try starting with AIOT by SPYROSK.....nvflash from scratch.

After custom ROM installation, the phone doesn't connect to Mobile network. Wi Fi is OK. I changed several Firmware (CM 7 etc.) it doesn't work on any.
Moreover I can't install anything through SmartFlash, always the same error:
Trying to communicate with IFX modem, and then - timeout error.
What can I do to fix it?!! (((
KDZ_FW updater also doesn't work.
The same with LG Mobile update

As for APN and automatic time, will try tomorrow.
Sounds like you got the unknown 622 GB leak, download the 622 Europe BB and flash it, then get LG GetRil and get the 622 RIL, there you go.
Have you payed your bill?

Here you go, p990 -> bb -> 622
Maybe you should try 0725 for me it works better than 0622. Much much better.

the phone show the battery charge ??
Try to flash with smartflash a baseband (try the 622) if smarthflash get error "IFX modem timeout" gives up and ask to 'practical assistance for the warranty. I have tried everything and I had the same problem, but it was useless!
same issue
it was all fine and dandy and since the past week the same ****ing thing happens over and over again. I restore backups, flash basebands, delete cache, dalvik, it keeps on happening. It started after i applied the optimization pack by paul
So, finally I exchanged the phone under warranty.
Nothing helped to fix it. The phone shows baseband, battery charge. Everything looks fine, however it can't connect to network.
Now I have a new phone and don't have desire to flash it again )))
Try another usb port then try to smartflash. Perhaps reinstall your drivers
Hello, ive got a big problem...
I wanted to flash a new baseband to my Optimus 2x... but infortunately, i kept the "erase cal" selected.
And then, i have no network at all, i tried with every baseband and every radio, it doesn't work. I noticed that when i flashed the 605 baseband, my network icon was on, but network didn't work.
I'm on MIUI Rom, and my phone seemed to have the same baseband since April 2011.
Please help me, it's like my optimus became an Itouch
Up, i flashed an original firmware, still no results...
Did you try a full wipe, back to stock reflash to miui?

You seem to have destroyed your phone's IMEI.
Check if dialing *#06#* gives you the same IMEI as on your sticker underneath the battery. If not you need to reprogram it, and to do that you need to be on a ROM with a stock dialler.
Procedure here.
Yeah, that resolved my issue, thanks a lot
Hello, I have strange problem.
After upgrading to ICS DM X1.1 KoB, it says no service.
GSM network is not available.
Tried flashing matching v28 BB, GetRIL says that I have matching RIL and BB.
Tried flashing OptiICS and TGs ROMs with nvflash method. Same problem: No signal.
Then I reverted to old partition layout, leaving new BB intact. Flashed GB ROM (DM 1.7.1), rebooted, and everything works OK.
GetRIL says that I have unmatching BB (v28g ICS), but GSM network is OK and calls quality is excellent.
Can someone explain to me why I do not have GSM network after upgrade to ICS.
NOTE: This phone had SIM lock, which was unlocked in service shop several months ago, and for six months was running gingerbread ROM until today.
Nobody? Really? Am I posting in wrong section?

Hi guys! I need your help. I read the forum, but did not solve the problem. I'll tell you more. Bought on ebay LG P970. I do not know what it KU5900. It was a firmware Android 2.3. Using the program LgMobileSupport put updated to version Android 4.0.4 After the update the phone does not boot, the screen inscription "olleh". I read the forums, and using a program SmartFlashTool put firmware lgp970_v30b_cis. The phone is loaded, but does not catch the network 3G. In 2G often loses the signal, especially from the base stations within the network. Still trying to reflash. Put Korean radio module firmware KU5900_CP.fls, and bin file European lgp970_v30b_cis_ap.bin In this case, the phone does not see the Sim card. If I put the Korean firmware V30I phone does not boot, the screen only logo LG. Tried way from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=33881192&postcount=643 - also does not see the sim card. I understand the problem in the firmware radio module, how can fix this problem? Thanks in advance for your help.
Sorry for my bad English.

I think yes, if I check the online LG IMEI number, I get the following information

Also on the phone internal memory 5,31 Gb. LgMobileSupport also shows KU5900. On firmware for Europe catches only 2G signal is not stable.

Hmm. Try another sim if the problem still persists. Maybe its not unlocked yet. Its really weird that you have a signal with p970 baseband. Goodluck.

How can I check whether the phone is locked?
Another request. Please tell me who owns the phone KU5900. What is your version of the Baseband?

I got mine to work after struggling a little, after you have flashed V30I, let it start and stuck at olleh thing, unplug it from usb then remove battery, put it back then press and hold VOLUME DOWN + G + POWER, When it start to reset release those buttons, wait a little and waaaah, the phone will start with korean language and everything will be ok
hello all. my phone shows "reorganizing internal processes" whenever i try to make a call. bcoz of this it is unusable as a phone.
also imei is null, baseband is unknown and cellular is in NO SERVICE.
nothing works: tried reboot,
other roms (cm 11, zaiben, mahdi etc..),GetRIL app...
also i tried to flash latest v20c but it always stuck at 10%..
but i can flash anything from cwm(philz touch)
so can anyone please help me with the so said baseband in cwm flashable format or a cwm backup of latest v20c update?
i'll be grateful to anyone who looks into this issue.
thanks in advance.:good::good:
Hi,
I will have your thread moved to your device section.
Good luck!
You will not find ant flashable format for cwm... I think, did you try to flash v20b? Only way to change you baseband is to flash firmware.
i"ll try upload you stock partitions to flash ***when i find some free time***

What about LG Mobile support tool? Connect phone via USB and wait for the tool recognizing it. In the menu you can "reset upgrade errors", the tool downloads latest version for your phone automatically and flashes itself.
Yeah, the 4X is nearly unbrickable. Even when nothing works, LG Mobile support tool can get it back with a stock rom.
I am in Portugal and have the same problem. I read in a different thread that the problem of "reorganizing internal processes" is in fact a crash of the phone/radio process, due to hardware bug that stucks when both voice and data communications are requested at the same time in a 3G network. I'm not sure if even V20C can correct the problem. One solution is to switch to 2G in general, (EDGE data speeds... )and you won't have problems, When needing for a particular download, switch temporarly to 3G.
But if anyone have a 3G stable solution, please share as I am also highly interested!
I tried stock JB. In custom CM roms, for instance 4.4.4 (is what I have now), you won't have a "reorganizing..." message, but you will loose completely mobile communications when the problem occurs, and only a phone reboot will recover it

The problem causes by LG update software when you kdz from 20A to B or C.
about the IMEI the V20C not really solve my problem but it' sustainable.
Bests of luck.
