[ROM] Bionix NextGen One ** Team Whiskey ** 2.2 ** 5/4/11

Welcome to the amazing world of Bionix NextGen!
All of this is per npcodex90 from Team Whiskey
Introduction:
Bionix NextGen One
This is by far the fastest and most responsive TeamWhiskey build to date! It is a mixture of KB1 , the mysterious Bionix 1.3.2 build and KB5's bug fixes. Yes this is still an Android 2.2 build.
NextGen is being released with a few themes from the start, but its original look is based on HoneyCombish look and feel. I know Alexia , Mr.Apocalypse and myself will be working on more themes and goodness in the very soon future. Who knows what is around the corner for the TW releases.
This ROM will do a full wipe so please perform a backup beforehand. Please allow 15-20 minutes after flashing for the phone to finish building the dalvik cache, then do a reboot before you begin playing.
It might even be better if people flashed JFD with odin before coming over here. We had noticed alot of "bugs" were posted, and most of them were caused from other roms and ghosts in the machine. At the very least, backup everything onto your computer and do a factory wipe/reset.
NextGen One Contains:
On Boot -> KB1 Kernel w/ Voodoo by default -> Ka5 Modem for speed and battery
Some people prefer KB1 for its Data Speed to battery ratio. IF you find that you want to try a newer modem

Modified I9000 Camera and Gallery. PowerButton is now the camerabutton and the Gallery has been trained not to eat batteries.(Will be tweaked better later)

IT also contains a modified version of the GB Launcher, TouchWiz Launcher and Pandora. All edits and mods were done by myself. In the future release we will have two version of NextGen(One TouchWiz and the other GB ) as in other releases. This ROM has been optimized for the best battery efficiency possible. With the KB1 stock/voodoo kernel, Shorty and myself where seeing 22+ hours with moderate usage. I know everyone's usage differs, but I think everyone will be pleased.

The star wars lock screen now works
But if you change or flash a new theme, you must , I repeat, must turn off the the Starwars lock screen. Until themes are made from my framework , it will bootloop.

You just flash the zip to apply the fix. It's CWM flashable.

I wonder if zyrinx got permission from tw/nopcodex to post this on xda?

Also, everyone needs to know that there will be no OFFICIAL support of this ROM on XDA.

I'm leaning towards saying that most of the theming thus far has been primarily in the Honeycomb blue. I don't see anything specifically stating that it utilizes the GB green theming. I'll keep looking though and I'll post up a link if I run across anything.

Lol, you didn't answer the most important part of my post, the permissions question.
Not trying stir things up, just trying to follow rules.
Also, Mr. Apocalypse has just asked you the same permissions question, and it seems as though he is affiliated with tw.
And just for the record, I'm not trying to have this removed, I'm trying to make sure it has the proper permissions from the person who worked on it.

CM 7.3? Sounds like total bollocks... anyway why don't you provide changelog? List of system tweaks? Apps added? And also... cm 7.3 sounds soooo retarded, since official cm is 7.2 (and still in RC stage)

i call it cm7.3 becuase it was on test stage the official one will be release sat or fryday
and some screenshot will be release 2
and the apps and tweak list will be release 2
one thing is for sure it has beat-tm and walkman app on it and it has a beautiful launcher

Wouldn't flash on my Dart.
Did full wipe first, installation aborted.
I tried to flash both versions, same result.

@berceniqgil AND EVERYONE I HABE FIX THE ROM AND THE POST GO TO THE FIRST PAGE AND YOU WILL FIND THE RIGHT AND GOOD ROM ALSO YOU WILL FIND THE INF OVER THIS ROM SORRY FOR THE PROBLEM I COST.

The older versions were pushed out with all the files needed. So people could install what they wanted.
The new version is just an installer and it then downloads and installs all the other bits automatically when you pair it with the gear. So it makes it real hard to install on non samsung phones

Are you aware that a group of devs are trying to port Android Wear to our beloved Gear 1 ?

I am running Null_23 and no need to try another rom, but I want to thank you for your hard work.
Another ROM for this great device is always welcome, especially since there is not much choice in roms.

My ROM is solely based on Touch Wiz.
Its basically Stock ROM but with extra apps and a few mods to improve usability etc.
I haven't tried Null but it seems that is more of a fully functioning phone type rom with google services etc.
Where as mine is more like straight out of the box but with a few extras

So it uses stock kernel, etc? What about the NFC pairing to Samsung phones only? Is that removed?

Because you had ported V3 by Artas182x, but no the V4 !
So I did that (link coming soon).
I finished your work 3lambda by making Camera fully working, and I corrected some bugs.

I'm going to do that, but it take a lot more time because,
even if I know all MM Touchwiz Roms, I don't know by hearth all from 4.2 to 6.0 !
So it will take some time (2 days) to achieve...
And I'm currently working on an other project : best S5 ROM (no bugs at all)

Gugudas s7 rom works great, except when u start camera and close ost, after the phone is very laggy. Kernel issue, hope get fixed soon

About all custom ported roms for S4 LTE-A(E330S-my device)
All ported roms above you mentioned & others, Im encountering some problem about sending sms..
Sometimes i cant send an sms and the only fix to do is to change the network mode from gsm to wcdma vice versa or restart my phone.(E330s)
But in stock rom i haven't this problem.because i think that it's a problem with these ported roms.please anyone tell me how to fix this bug in ported custom roms.:crying:

Best Camera App for CM on s6e+ (Haven't Tried TW)

Hey guys just wanted to share this little piece of quality work from @androidexpert35 that I have tested with CM and it works amazingly. I'm assuming any apps ported from the Meziu Pro5 on FlymeOS would also work well on an AOSP build since the specs are equal.
Haven't tried this on TouchWiz at all yet but I'm sure it would work just fine also.

Using the launcher now it works great too .
No other way to get ported apps from the Meizu Pro5 and I had many builds facing camera issues, so these finds are a blessing!
