My dad just bought this phone, and the UI is giving random Freezes when he uses it.. anyone knows whats the problem? The phone has everything stock, nothing modified

Never heard of such an issue.
You could try a Factory reset.

Hello guys, My phone freezes and keeps on turning on and off, it works for like 10 seconds then freezes then restart.
I tried a factory reset but the problem seems on hapening. What to do guys, HELP Thanks for advance

Can you be more specific, did you install any custom ROM? Did you tweak the CPU frequency? Sometimes, due to that issue your phone might reboot automatically... can you describe what you have done to your phone in detail?

I have done nothing to the phone, The rom is the original one that comes with it, and I didn't tweak anything, it's not rooted, nothing, I ve just bought the phone 3 weeks ago.

Looks like a hardware issue, time to check with the Service center...
Its So annoying! Just happened again. Got a google + nofication, opened it phone rebooted. Happens with any app randomly even camera will sometimes lock which results in a reboot. I'm 100% stock.

Mine is the same. Im pretty sure its hardware, my phone is acting more and more crazy. Latest update pretty much ****ed the phone up completley. There aint a software fix out there and ive searched for five months and no improvement. I got my money back and got to keep my phone so i dont care anymore.
im soon getting my OnePlus One and then i will leave sony for good. they have too much problems for the pricetag tbh and they aint very keen on fixing them.
I like the phone & everything but I only have a few days to decide if I want to return it.
I wonder if running CM would solve some issues.

If you can return it then return it. Ive tried custom roms aswell and still got thoose random reboots.
Return it. wait a few weeks and buy another one The one you have now sounds like it is hardware related issues on.
While scrolling through my Nexus 6 apps, the phone froze and the screen went nuts. I had to turn the phone off and restart it. Samething happened a few hrs later....... Am i the only one experiencing this? Any troubleshooting tips? Thanks in advance.
Never seen that before. Are you on stock?
I was on stock and had it happen one time. A reboot resolved it. I think the SW thought I wanted to add all my apps as shortcuts.
Im also running stock. Havent had an issue until today. First time it happened, i had to reboot. Second time I just locked and unlocked the phone.
After the last update my z3c sometimes stops working.
I get a freeze, screen goes black because sistemui crashes and I can't use the phone. I have to reboot and then it works normally.
This happens to me once or twice a day and before the update everything was fine.
What do I have to do?

Yes, same here, for today already 12 reboots, very nice on vacation...
i solved by connecting my z3c to my pc and clicking on "repair"!

Lately I have been experiencing something strange with my device (XT 1900-06).
What I'm having is that often right after unlocking the phone (with fingerprint), it shows the unlocked screen and reboots immediately.
Also if I'm using the phone while it charges, I get random reboots.
Did anyone experienced anything like that? Any suggestions?
One thing to add: if I do a full wipe, the phone stays "normal" for a while, but after one week of regular usage, it begins to happen again.

Must be some app that u installed thats causing this glitches.
Is it original charger? Try known quality charger that issues not noisy electricity - laptop maybe.
m too facing the issue.. facory reset didn't help .. even removed all non essential apps.. still the same issue.
Day by day its getting hard to use the phone. Thinking of migrating to custom ROM Lineage OS or Pixel Experience
