which MIUI version would you recommend? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
i love miui but their latest version for SGS are all very laggy and buggy...
do you know any good version around?
the older 2.1\2.2 versions were the best for me, no lags or FC's.

[Q] Best Firmware for Acer Liquid?

Hey guys,
I haven't upgraded my Acer Liquid in a while, the last ROM I loaded on was the BETA version of Froyo 2.2.
What is the best ROM/Firmware for my Acer Liquid now? Could you please direct me to a download?
I see a lot of different roms been thrown around but I need to know what is the best, opinions?
Thank You
I think you have to search at liquid.modaco.com. Some gingerbread rom and others.
Yeah, latest MIUI, LeoGinger, and CM7.0-Kang (my current choice atm) are all good roms me thinks. And also i've read that you should avoid the VFIT-based rom because of battery drain.
LeoGinger + 1
the most stable and problem-less 2.3 rom in my experience

[Q] About MIUI

I know MIUI is based on CM7 and it's supposed to be lightweight and still looks great but for the Optimus 2x specifically is MIUI atm riddled with experience breaking bugs, like no working HDMI, etc?
I've been to both MIUI english sites and their Optimus 2x forums aren't especially active or informative for the matter. People ask questions but no one ever answers, is there a more active site for the 2x MIUI?
For now the newest version is 1.10.14, being new to MIUI is there a MOD(I mean stock anything are seldom optimal) or something that's being used widely amongst o2x MIUI users that I should download?
Also what baseband should I use? Is MIUI froyo or gb based? I'm on 802 (725 on sytem info) would this work?
Thanks.

Here are some MIUI addons - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263311
MIUI is cm-based and therefore GB. BB725 gives me no problems so far. Haven't tried 802.

i had cm10 stable intill now but need an upgrade.

well i really liked cm10 stable but its starting to lag now after 2 month of useage. was wondering what rom will work for me?
is cm 10.1 better in stableity and battarey?
i use my phone mostly for internet/music and some bloons TD 4 game
should i install cm 10 M version or 10.1 M version or install nighty?
whats really importent is not having battarey drain issus
thanks

So does anyone know?
I want to modiy the question a bit What is the latest stable MIUI ? Official and non-official both plz.

[q] best miui rom

I would prefer ICS but 2.3+ is also ok. Want near stock camera and stability. No FC and lagging. Which version to use, there are 6-7 MIUI out there. I ok with a bit battery drain.
Any 1?

hi,
im actually on miui rom.
I have chosen miui with the version 4.3.14 (14th march 2014) because that is the last version which it include german language.
Miui with own kernel is very slow and laggy. the camera isnt stable too. therefore i using mackay kernel 1.9 modded for CM10 with GPS Fix and i have flashed the LG stock Camera. The camera works better now.
Its not the best rom for performance, but works fine for me now.
