Trying to use ROM Manager to upgrade from CM7.02 to CM7.03. But the ROM download stops at 99% every time I try. Latest version of Rom Manager and CWM.
Anyone else with this issue? Fix?
Hello to whoever is reading this, I appreciate your help.
I recently saw Cyanogen Mod 10 on lifehacker.com and decided to change my ROM to CM 10. Its was working fine until I wasn't able to open the System Settings. I though I did something wrong and I reinstall CM 10. The first notification popped up was 'Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.gapps has stopped.' and next another one pops up, 'Unfortunately, Android Keyboard (AOSP) has stopped.' It keep crashing the stock keyboard and I only have the stock keyboard.
Next I try to uninstall CM 10 back to stock ROM, I opened ROM Manager and another notification pops up, 'Unfortunately, ROM Manager has stopped.'
So right now, I have a phone that has no system setting, no keyboard and I can't access ROM Manager.

Use recovery. (Not ROM Manager the actual Recovery.)

use smart flash tool again to flash patched firmware
do full 3 wipes
I can't boot into recovery and I don't have smart flash installed.
search for smartflashtool in the p970 forum
install a stock rom with ot and cwm recovery
DON'T USE ROM MANAGER WITH OUR PHONE damn people...read...don't just take any advice on youtube
How do you want me to install it? Sorry but I'm a bit confused.
HEY!A FELLOW SINGAPOREAN!Anyways best is to dwnload the bin and fls stock rom files and use smartflashtool to flash it.I recommend v20o or v20s firmware(though there's not much difference).But your FC problem should not happen if you do all wipes b4 flashing:Wipe Data/factory reset,Wipe cache,Wipe Dalvik Cache.

Problem:
I installed yesterday Pandoriam 2.0 and everything installed (stock ROM and MotoMoto theme), Next thing at bootup my phone went to the language screen selection but then I get a popup telling me that Samsung Setup Wizard is not responding, and so I am stuck in that screen, I tried different languages but still doesn't work. I tried then to install L335K1s ROM also with Stock ROM and MotoMoto theme and also with this rom I get stuck on the language selection screen in Samsung Setupwizard. I then installed Pandoriam 2.0 and L335K1s ROM with stock ROM and Stock JB theme. L335K1s ROM and Pandoriam 2.0 work like this. So it seems to be an Aroma or MotoMoto theme issue. Supreme ROM though is working fine. Anybody have a solution how to wipe any leftovers from phone?

I have cm10 and I had some random theme installed. I tried to change the status bar with rom manager pro and now i'm stuck in a boot loop. I made a backup before hand but I cant install it from recovery. HELP, thanks

You'll have to reflash the rom from scratch. Rom manager doesnt completely support the vivid and if you try to install anything from that app; it wont work. Also if you made the backup using rom manager, you wont be able to restore it cuz it makes the back up wrong and our phone cant read it. Btw, what recovery are you using. Dont use CWM!!!
Hi im running the latest version of cyanogenmod 10.2 i have done a full wipe and full install and not restored with titanium backup, but every time i reboot i on startup i get the cyanogenmod statup screen and apps that ive updated need updating again? can anyone help as this is very frustrating
