Hi, guys, with CM10 and Offical ICS, I have some issues with backlight. I like the maximal strength of it, but when I turn it on the max, after 2-5 minutes, the central part of the phone turns black. On CM7 it seems to be ok. If I turn the backlight to auto or medium it still black, but if I turn the screen off and on, it is ok.

Have someone such a bug? How to fix it?
It is appears only on the 50% of the battery or lower.
I have had the same issue before, all I had to do to fix it was turn the device off and on then it went away.

I'm using MIUI 1.4.8 and my phone can't seem to go to sleep (according to the battery information). Any idea what is wrong? I can barely get 20hours on a normal day, no call, just with 3G + Gmail, facebook, and yahoo mail set on push + a weather widget on the home screen.
Does anyone know something I can do? I have already set a profile for SetCPU to 200-500 at screen off.

I know it's not much of a help, but I had exact same issue on MIUI 1.4.8. Almost 100% awake Unfortunately I didn't manage to find any solution
I hope you will find the answer.
Hi!
A few weeks ago I went back to the MIUI rom. Everything worked really good, except for one small problem. The led buttons lights up when getting a notification and stays on even when the screen is off. Usually, on previous versions of MIUI roms, you could turn the led notifications on/off. But there's no such option available anymore... So, someone please help med turn the led notification off.
Bump! I'd also really like to know as well.
Going into LED settings and turning it off doesn't cut it anymore.
I'm also having this problem, anyone?
It's probably a slight error in the coding or whatnot...
Any new idea how to turn LED off?
EDIT: found it - http://miuiandroid.com/community/threads/how-to-disable-led-notifications.12454/
Wel done good job

Even if I turn on the option and set screen timeout to 15 sec in an extremely well lit room it doesn't seem to be working. I believe I might have a faulty model. The front facing camera and active display work fine so I'm not sure why this feature seems to be faulty. So far everything else on the phone has been amazing without issues (battery life, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screen brightness and everything else that people are complaining about).

I also have the same problem
I also have the same problem
I also have that effect. One way to make it less visible is using Screen Balance (the app is in the Play Store).
My config: I have it set in Tint (it is in Color Mode that is in the options). Then, on the main page, it is in Fluorescent and in Strenght 5%. I recommend removing battery optimization and blocking it in multitasking, to avoid closing (sometimes it happens anyway).
Phone worked flawlessly at first but now the incoming call screen is sometimes so faint that I can barely see any of the info (phone number) on the screen. I cannot reproduce the issue at will. It is an intermittent issue. I use the stock, Google phone dialer and I have not taken any updates for it.
When this happens, the screen itself is plenty bright but it looks like a webpage with a modal that fades out the text.

Faded:
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I was hoping the April Android update would fix this but it made no difference.
Another thing that started happening around the same time is that sometimes I cannot turn on WiFi. I have to reboot.
