Hi! Recently I followed the guide on this forum on how to root, recovery and set a custom rom. I tried CM10 but i am not satisfied .I would like to revert back to the stock sony firmware. I tried flashmode with flashtool and tried to flash the stock 7.0.A.3.195 for the xperia T firmware. But it would abort when it tries to flash it. Another thing: I cant place anything on my internal sd card when connecting the phone to the pc. Sony pc companion won't pick up the device either while windows shows that the device is connected.
Using xperia T with CM10.
Need some help!

Known bugs.
Backup sd cards, and format them
As for flashing try again, that should work no matter what. Can you provide a screenshot of what flashtool says when it fails

There is an option on stock rom to delete everything. On cm roms i think there is an option to format.
Both are found in
settings/storage
Try that, also redownload the ftf package. Also, is there any chance you can translate to english the red errors?

Hmm, it may be related to the read/write error on internal card.
Try it after you have deleted/formatted internal memory.
What you can also try is to flash my kernel in fastboot, then my rom in CMW then try flashtool again

well when i unmount my sd card it says sd card removed but when plug it back in it does not say anything!! is there a setting on xrecovery that i should do before going back to stock rom?
Hmmm well as far as my knowledge is concern no. Nwei why you still use xrecovery? Flashing latest rom with xrecovery will surely gives you an error use clockwordmod recovery instead. Maybe thats what causes your problem, Im not certain.

can you access recovery??
Try restoring ya phone via. PC Companion. There's a thread in XDA..
If you can access CWM, just flash another ROM.
cwm can be accessed even if system is formatted... enter cwm.. if you dont have a rom in sd card then mount usb storage then copy a rom in sdcard. and then install the rom

If you read his post, you will know that he's on stock kernel. Recoveries for stock kernel are stored in /system. He wiped it => he doesn't have recovery.

Even with stock kernel? Because if I'm not mistaken on stock kernel the recovery comes with ROM while in custom kernel the recovery comes from the kernel itself.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

No if his phone has locked BL. The best way is to flash the phone with PCC or to flash 2.1 firmware with flashtool.
phone: Xperia T
Model: L30p (I think)
Ok so I'm a great newbie when it comes to rooting.
I successfully rooted my phone yesterday, but the GPS and WIFI was stuck on so I decided to unroot it back to its original state.
Not knowing it was a bad thing to do I formatted all of the options on a CWM-based recovery screen.
including the now-known must not do /system
Now, my phone will not start.
I have access to both fastboot and Flash and have tried flashing the default .ftf file for the phone (gotten from this site, so not sure if it is the default one.)
I have tried to connect it to PC Companion but it wont connect, not sure if there's a certain way to connect it to that.
I have put other kernels on to try and fix the problem without luck
Is there anything I can do to fix this or have I well and truly destroyed my phone.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

Formatting the system wipes the ROM.
You need to flash a ftf using flashtool or repair your phone using pccompanion.
Look in the all in one thread to find a ftf for your phone and download the flashtool from the first thread in the dev section.
Or if you are using pccompanion, then run pccompanion and click software update. Click repair and when asked to attach the phone then make sure its turned off and keep the volume down button pressed whilst you attach the usb cable. This is the official way from sony

Use the latest version
If you can get into recovery now, just flash it in recovery.
If not, extract the boot.img and flash it in flashtool using fastboot mode. You will now be able to enter recovery
Then flash the .zip in recovery to make sure you have the corect wifi modules
Then flash my ROM
I've run into another problem now, I cant seem to access my sdcard from my computer with usb

Do you have an external sd card? Take that out and use a card reader to put the files onto it.
If not, flash the boot.img from doomkernel in fastboot, then you should be able to access recovery.
In recovery you can mount the SD card (Mounts and storage) and you should be able to see the SD card then

The rom is rooted as is the kernel.
You should have a superuser app in the app drawer.
I suggest you make a backup now in recovery and leave it on your sdcard in case anything happens again
Always backup just in case you ****up
Glad you are back in the land of the living again.
I will be updating my rom later in the week so keep an eye out for that

I used to have the same issue last week and I finally succeed respecting the step by step from Androxyde.
One Advice : Try to redownload the FTF fiel or try another one (from another country).
I personnaly had succeess using the FTF from UK (and I am from another country) and no issue at all.
Good luck :fingers-crossed:

Go to c:\flashtool\firmwares\ and delete "prepared" folder. - That's only firmware files prepared every time for flashing.
Restart your PC and open flashtool (right click and open it as administrator.
