I was looking for a rubber case/skin for my streak to help it survive any drops and I came across this one. I got the case from Dell and it just seems like it will transfer the energy from the drop right to the streak. The site says they aren't shipping till September, so maybe some other companies will step up, but if not I'll be getting this one. Anyone else found any rubber/gel cases?
I also think I'm going to get the Zagg Invisible Shield, so I can protect the plastic parts of the phone and not just the screen.

It looks ok thanks for the links
Case-mate is also saying they will have a case in early sept.

So do we have any idea if these cases will be good or do we have to wait until they ship before we find out?
They just change the stock picture of the Amzer for the Dell streak. It look alot better now.
http://www.amzer.com/Amzer-Silicone-Skin-Jelly-Case-Black-P89120.htm
I saw a lot of cases of the silicone type on ebay.
Some of the pics even say Amzer, also the price is right at about 7 bucks including shipping.
I know they look exactly like amzers

can somebody please post the review?
So this looks pretty good! And the price is not excessive. I wonder ...
Meh, for the same price I cancelled my jelly case preorder and went with the Otterbox.

I was going to do that, but my AMZER is in the mail, so i'll at least give it a shot. I see the Otterbox isn't shipping until the 19th I think, so I'll wait for reviews on it while i have the other one in the meantime.
Did you order yours from Amazon or amzers website. Please post pics and review once u receive it.

Amazon was out of stock although cheaper, so I ordered from Amzer since it was in stock and they shipped it yesterday. I'll post pics when I get it...
*** I just ordered an Otterbox case as well, so I will compare and roll with my personal favorite.
Got mine in the mail today. It's not bad, pretty protective, but it does make the Streak a little bulkier. The case is a little more durable than I thought it would be, but that's a good thing.
More pics. Forgot to mention that the volume rocker, power, and camera buttons are covered. They still work pretty well though, no need to press harder or anything.
Also, the case isn't in the way of the haptic buttons or the earpiece.

Does it collect dust and how does it slip in and out of your pocket?
Sent from my Dell Streak using XDA App
Hi there
I just bought one from ebay for 8 quid and it came with rapid delivery. The case is great as you can stop treating the dell like a baby and as a phone. Dust problems are minimal in my limited use. However, I have noticed that the case comes a little to forward onto the screen and can affect your ability to open the phone with the slide to open option, as mutli touch is interferes with its general use.
Other than that an absolutely must buy piece of kit for a phone that is sooooo scratch sensitive.
I get my case today. I will post reviews after I get it.
Sent from my Dell Streak using XDA App
I have been using the case and its definitly a nice case. It still collects dust but not as bad as other cases. It adds some weight and thickness to the phone but its still pocketable. I recommend this case for anyone with a dell streak.

+1 ballistic rules
Hi,
if your scenario is: working in wet and dusty place, I think TRIDENT is better.
Because the only thing in contact with dust or water is the screen. The rest of the phone is safe!!!
Ballistic. Bought one a couple of months ago and love it. It offers great protection also.
I've been using the trident case for a while and love it...I wrote a post that was a quasi review a while back...using xda mobile app right now, can't find it. It's a great case though...I've shut my trunk on it, routinely toss my phone a few feet to people cause I'm too lazy to get up without concern. also the customer service is great. My toddler soon ripped off the headphone port cover, and they immediately sent me a replacement for the silicon part of the case.
my experience with this case has probably made me a trident lifer. Totally worth the cost.

+1 for Trident! Had mine for a good 4-6 months and works beautifully!
Thanks
thank you for your replies I think I will go with the Trident case.
Well in my case, and because I need to change battery every 5/6 hours, I don´t like the idea of taking out the protection case and the the lid...
naked. why ruin its form for protection? not worth it to me

Don't trust that site at all. I have order a fee things from them in then past just to have my stuff canceled because they ran out. Not delayed. CANCELED!
That's funny. I sent of a few emails the other day to the major case makers because I'd like to know if they're going to make cases for this tank of a phone. Haha. Yesterday I was downtown and, here in Spain to say hello you give the person a kiss on each cheek, the person who I now hate accidentally knocked my phone down on the floor. I am so glad I bought a cheap case off the net before I even got the phone. It saved my phone. Don't ever go comando with your phone! Haha. This 3 dollar tpu case saved my phone xD. I hope seidio or case mate make their dual layer cases soon. Hehe.

Hmm, what's great is these companies are telling people different crap. Where, if you go to say AT&T's site they are selling case mate and otterbox cases for the Note 2. I've contacted Otterbox and Case-Mate, both companies told me they'd have official releases mid nov/early dec.
What i dont get is what is a man to do with a phone this size? Carry it in my hand all day! Def not going into my pocket making me walk strange. Would never buy a leather belt case that make it look like a 1990 fanny pack. I need a plastic holster!

Yeah ATT is what im waiting for. They have that badass Speck case and awesome IMoshi IVisor screen protector. Pricey pricey though.
Available HERE
Mine hasn't come in yet, but I've ordered a few for the SGS3 and was more than happy with them. The only case that i would probably say is better are the ones offered by Diztronic. but when i E-mailed them asking if they planned on offering cases for the Note II they didn't seem that interested.
Contact Diztronic A COMPETITOR TO CRUZERLITE I AM IN NO WAY AFFILIATED WITH HERE
Had a chance to check out some of Cruzerlite's products today. Found out last night that the company is based 15 minutes from my house. Pretty surprised. I couldn't have been more impressed. I picked up a black, white, and clear case for my Note 2....and they are beautiful. The fit is perfect. Probably the most perfect fit I've ever had on a phone. The grip sides are great too. The buttons are perfect. The sprint store was commenting on how awesome the cases were. I'll have some pics up in a few days, but these cases are great. Excellent value and quality. The pictures don't come close to doing it justice. For under 10 bucks...no brainer. Thanks Joel!
How is it any better than any other tpu case? I just ordered the 3.33 one and trying to justify the orange one.

Having the Android guy embedded on the back with a different texture is cool..you can't get the vibe from the amazon pics, so I'll try to capture that in my pictures. Especially the black case. And these cases scream quality. They just look pricey. I've owned plenty of normal tpu cases for other phones. They were fine, but I feel like this case provides a better fit and a higher quality look.
Snapped pic of the black one with my phone real quick
I personally ordered orange blue and white. Will post pictures when they come.
All pics taken with my note 2. Not sure why xda rotated some of them.. I'll leave the cases unpacked if someone wants other angles. .can't take pic of case on the phone yet cause my camera is packed.

what are you talking about? i posted a link where people could buy cases, and then i encouraged people to E-mail their competitor so we had more decent options available to us.
If you think i'm 'making money from referrals' please explain how, and who is paying me. because i don't think Cruzerlite would pay me for encouraging people to contact a competitor. and i don't think Diztronic would pay me for telling people Cruzerlite offers decent cases.
Code above didn't work, try B2G1 instead for buy 2 get 1 free.... Thanks
There is another thread about a mod for the official Samsung protective case that allows you to use the case along with the flip cover case.
Are these cases "soft" enough that I might be able to cut one the same way (a "notch" on the left side) to allow me to use one with my flip cover case?
The website says they're "flexible" but I'm wondering how they might compare to the oem protective case which seems to have a pretty soft looking edge to it.
Any idea?

I had one of these cases for my GNex. It is a very nice case. I like the android dude on the back. It gives a good amount of grip to the phone. It did make my GNex noticeably bigger and with how big the Note 2 already is Im not sure if I want to get a case. I am very careful w/ my phones, though accidents do happen...
Either way, I like the Cruzerlite cases.
i get mine in the morningggg ill post a pic for y'all i ordered the teal one o; from amazon
On the Facebook page for Trident Cases, the moderator had said in the past that they would consider making the Kraken case for our phone, but it looks like they either had a change of heart or are not informed.
Please go on their page and post comments for them to make the Kraken for our phone if you are interested. They also offer awesome customized Kraken cases for all supported phones. Please help me with this!

Hey guys! Just wanted to let you know that I have an update from a Trident sales rep about the Kraken case for out phone. I sent the following email:
"Hello,
I contacted you before, but I just saw this article and wanted to share it with you. 'Samsung Galaxy Note II sales exceed one million in Korea, may hit 10M globally in Q1'. I saw that you guys are releasing an Electra case for the galaxy s 3, which is a much older phone than the Galaxy Note 2. Don't just drop support for us.* It is clearly a very popular and successful device.
Please reconsider making a Kraken case for my phone. I really want to customize it and get one. Look at how many Facebook user want you to make one. If you release it, I will post it all over the xda developers forums that I frequent where upwards of 15000 users there just for the note 2, and many have expressed interest in this case.
Even if you charge a little more for each case, people will flock to buy it. It isn't late much to make a lot of people very happy. Thank you for your tine and consideration and please view the link below. I hope to be a customer of yours soon
Sincerely,
S. Katz"
Today I got a response from the director of inside sales at Trident and it read as following:
" Mr. Katz-
Thank you so much for your email about the possibility of a Kraken case for the Galaxy Note II.* We truly appreciate your enthusiasm and support of Trident Case.* While I cannot definitely say that we will have a Kraken case for that mobile device yet, I will say “Stay Tuned”.* We have heard what our customers have to say and we will do our due diligence to look into the production of an AMS Kraken series case for the Samsung Galaxy Note II.
Again, thank you for your feedback and taking the time to write us.
*
Nancy White
Director of Inside Sales
[email protected]"
I think that she responded very kindly and reasonably and in a very short amount of time. I definitely think that we could end up with a case for our phones if we keep it up.
Please email trident at:
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
or email Ms. White directly. Just make sure to be reasonable and honest if you are going to email because I think a few more people sending emails like mine might persuade Trident to get us a case. Don't give up on it quite yet!
Thanks!

Not really any as customisable but seidios offers very nice rugged cases with kickstands. I had the casemate pop before my otterbox defender and it was nice. Also my holster that came with my defender acts as a kickstand. Im sick of these companies shipping iphone cases sometimes up to a week before there released but you have to beg for a samsung case. Like i said before ballistic and trident can kiss my a$$ and you can add UAG to that list.
