This rom is official 2.3 so it means new baseband, you can flash this thru CWM but you wont get gsm network, unless you change your baseband thru kdz or LGMDP.
Correct me if im wrong guys.
Why not choose a simple name for the rom?
i'm just downloading it!
some questions:
- can i use darktremor app2sd on it?? (obiviously with an ext3 partition)
- do i have to wipe /data or /system before flashing? (now i have the official gingerbread update)
- can explain what modifications you've placed to build.prop??
-in original lg rom seem that wifi consumes more power than 3g data connection ( yes,it's unbelievable )
have you done something to fix this?
thx in advance!!!
See this HOW TO

You can try mik's gsm fix. (If it works, you still will have no APNs/data but GSM will work otherwise ;p)

Hi,
Since yesterday I have a strange red message on top of my screen.
It goes away when I restart the phone but gets back every time I make a call. I find this very strange and have looked over the internet to see if someone else have this but haven't found anything.
I am attaching an image of it. As you can see it says T, S, P and ALL and some values.
Do you have any idea what this could be and how I get rid of it once and for all?
looks as if it is a kernel of modding related problem, tell us more about the ROM and Kernel you have flashed!

I would suggest to reflash your rom. try using stock rom from samfirmware / sammobile

hey i wanna ask that is there any problem if task (kies.exe, etc) are killed or not?????
i tried 2-3 times all i got is that the phone is stuck on the boot loop... please suggest something coz i had paid enough to restore my phone
Dude download Odin v1.85 that would be best.... Bring your phone to download mode(volume down + menu+ power button). Now run Odin and connect ur phone, Odin will detect your phone. Now take the cf root file and put it in the PDA and just press start. At finish Odin will make the column green and pass would be written on it.
Congrats ur phone is rooted

Actually flashing jw4 just changes your kernel from jvb to jw4. And it is rooted so works by the way there is.no cf root for jvb.
