I wonder if CMs team have tackled some of the regression Google introduced in 4.2. Guess I'll find out
Has anyone tried this out yet? Thoughts/comments? I've been looking for a 4.2.1 cm10.1 and this is the only one I could find. Little worried to try myself. The Dev is unknown (No offense).
Any idea if this will work on Nexus 7 3G or is it strictly WiFi only?
There is one in the dev section, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1784248
[CM10][Jellybro] Grouper Nightly Kangs, I've been running it for almost a week without issue, this one should be similar i would assume.

Yay found it already. Clicking thanks button anyway.
Well, i'm not a dev, just a random guy who has compiled cm from sources and i'm sharing it with you.
I don't know if it works with wifi n7 because I don't own one.
Feel free to test my build if you want, and please tell us if it works for you, it works perfectly for me.
Jellybro for what i saw is cherrypicked cm, this is pure, but if no one prefers this I will delete it
Also, new nightly will be posted within few hours

Also, some people downloaded the zip, can you please tell me if everything is ok?

Just look at the elements in the mr1-staging branch, in this case the last of Dec 03 and all the ones from today

You should also include a proper change log in your OP.
People want to know whats different, and not just plunge themselves into the deep end.
And don't take this the wrong way, but your not well known so people won't just install it as they know you, and you only have like 15 posts?
Good luck though mate (this was meant to be some constructive criticism, not a dig at you !!!)

If you mean that the changelog should be also in the op, i will place it there when i relase the new nightly
If you mean a different changelog i will try, but it's not easy to translate all the informations from Cyanogenmod into a classic changelog (and I understand English well, but i'm only in third Class of high school in italy, so it's a challenge) .

Ok this is a alpha and a hackfest. ALL problems from CM9 are present.

If you're a dev you can use push requests on github - I'm fine with it.
This thread is for users. Users please stay away from this thread.
So basically everything is working (somehow and somewhat hehe)
EXCEPT
- Project Butter
- Hardware Acceleration
- Camcorder
- Complete Video Playback
Never ask for fixes!
Howto: Reporting Bugs
Don't ever report something without a logcat!
If it's a hard reboot - Add a /proc/last_kmsg
If your RIL is crashed or you doesn't get connection at all - Add a logcat -b radio
Additional information like "howto reproduce" etc would be nice too
Thanks!

You can additionally download the GooManager and install and update the ROM with it!

Notes:
Benee won't make daily builds, only occasional ones if he fixes major bugs.
But you currently got 3 more options of CM10 builds, which are all based on CM10 hackfest:
Kashamalaga builds which are clean source builds:
Kashamalaga Nightlies
XXMrHyde builds have some additions:
[Rom-Preview][CM10]XXMrHyde`s Experimental CM10
my own builds of ParanoidAndroid:
[ROM][CM10] ParanoidAndroid v2.1 Hackfest JB alpha
Gapps JB package: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20120726-signed.zip
The HwaSettings app is included. Use it to disable the (broken) hardware accelleration for certain apps which makes problems.
Examples are the stock Browser and Facebook - both apps crash on rotation. By disabling hwa this gets "fixed"
The version 9.9.9-JB is intended.
Notes about providing proper feedback:
As benee said, don't even try to post bugreports without proper logs
Ehrm... if you didn't do a full wipe before coming to CM10 you're not allowed to post bugs at all.
[Tutorial] How To Logcat
To get the last_kmsg use e.g this command from Terminal Emulator: cat /proc/last_kmsg > /sdcard/last_kmsg.txt
Bug reports without logcats and/or kernel messages will be ignored completely
Just in case someone doesn't get the above:

@ benee,
memory fix zip, 98zram, line 16 needs double parenthesis ?
Code:
echo $((mem_total / cpu_cores)) > /sys/block/zram$i/disksize
line 25, is /dev/zram$i typo ?
Code:
swapon /dev/zram$i
Going to try this later today. Do you know if it has the same memory leak as CM9? Or has it been fixed in CM10?

Was just going to test this but after using it for a while it is very smooth and everything seems to be working fine so I might just use this now. Very nice work!
Confirmed, all essential feature work great, I have the 'airplane on/off to have phone network' issue but not a big deal.
Congrats, as usual tremendous work.
Guys, for those not knowing it, on JB:
-internal sdcard is /storage/sdcard0
-external is /storage/sdcard1
Backward compatibility whith old paths is there.
(At least a bit or harmony...)
60 fps
Tell me, are there 60 fps in the interface?
Using it now and it's suprisingly stable enough considering it's status.. Can playback video using mx and can usb tether in ubuntu.. Great work! Though I find it strange that the camera app was lost automatically, I dont know what happened when in fact i just tried it and it was working then. The torch also is having fcs. But overall its fast and great!

@ Striatum,
can you test and flash http://www.mediafire.com/?z6mlyr196r9ay69 and see if it fixes network issue ?
it's a framework.jar with my commit https://github.com/vork/android_frameworks_base/commit/1435afd
if it fixes it, that's great.
if the issue persists or worsens, radio logcat could help me figure it out.

OK, I got a lot of time to work, and a blazing fast internet speed for now. So I decided to give AOSP a try, this is based on MoltenMotherBoard sources (from Gio), and for me atleast, is amazingly fast
What works?
Everything should work
What doesn't, yet
You tell me!
What is next?

What this is and what this isn't
This is not CyanogenMod, this is (mostly) vainilla Android, so don't expect me to add any customization.
i compiled this ROM for the people who wants simplicity, who doesn't need a looooooooooooooot of customization options and want something fast enough for this device, or the people who wants to experiment the vainilla Android experience like in a Nexus device
If you still want customization...
Well then, I can do nothin' for you, but you can check these!
Based on this ROM
If you want more speed or a better experience, go here! Four AOSP Better User Experience PACKS
If you want TouchWiz, go here! Great theming and modding by A_U [AOSP][ICS][ROM] TouchWiz ICS V1
If you want a different type of customization, go here, another great modding by hsay [ROM][odexed]AOXPv1 [AOSP/AOKP]
If you want something done by autoradio (I have to admit, this ROM is kool!), you can grab New Experience[ROM][GPL][ODEXED][AOSP ICS 4.0.4][26-05-2013] New Experience
MODs (sorry for not taking a further view of them, but they deserve a place here!)
[mod] aosp 4.0.4 paul l. Build25

ANOTHER DISCLAIMER
Take in mind, this is mostly done by MMB team, and you, yes, you, those who are reading this, give support to them, in their facebook page https://www.facebook.com/moltenmotherboard?fref=ts, because they are the masterminds (lol) behind this ROM, I really, really do not like to take credit for something that is NOT mine. As I said before, I'm just taking the sources and getting it to work in our device, they did the dirty job, and a lot of devs like TheWhisp, erikcas, WaylandAce, psyke83 did a great job with this, go thank them, donate them, they deserve it. This is why I say that I'm not a dev
ABOUT CUSTOM ROMs/MODs.
Please, as I said, MMB team is the original creator of this ROM, go thank them, I give permission to everyone to use this ROM as a base, ONLY and ONLY if you credit MMB team (I do not need credits or thanks, I never needed them and I'm never going to need them). Remember that if you modify this ROM, you're on your own, I'm not going to give any support, this is AOSP, and is meant to be vainilla Android experience. I'm GPL compilant (or atleast I'm trying to), so, go ahead and do anything you want with my/MMB team code, but please provide the source as I did.

I never used it except on my computer. I want to try it on phone though. Is it buggy

Open Source means full respect and credit to anyone who did even a small thing as finding a missing ";" on a 4000 rows code!
BTW, are you the official maintainer of CM?
I remember you from the Note 2 forums, you gave us some awesome things
Will you bring us ports for other roms to? (OmniRom, PACMan, ProBam, AOSPA..?)
(I would try myself, but most of the times it ends in a f**king bootloop , and I don't have this device (maybe I will ))

Yep. The maintainer for T-Mobile is Richard Ross. According to Dalingrin, he should be putting up a build and start official nightly's either today or in the next few days.

First of all thanx to CM guys for their work!
How can you guys rate the level of sources sharing from LG? So far I do not see them listed as a dev friendly OEM.
We should be fine with the soc and general performances, but what about:
1) camera
2) hdmi out (SlimPort)
3) wireless display mirroring (Miracast?)
4) FM radio?
5) Is Grapich RAM battery saving method an hw staff or will need sw (kernel I guess) support?
6) Knock on-off?
6) Any other broken features (I'm not talking about any crappy LG sw, but hw features not supported by AOSP
Please don't reply with: Flash and discover yourself!
I do not have the G2 and I'm asking in order not to be in the same (bad) situation like with my SGS3!!!
Thanks a lot.

Looks and feels great! Glad to see CM coming to this device! Hoping to see Wifi Calling included in a future release so I can use this ROM on a daily basis. Thanks for the hard work!
This is awesome. I think auto rotation is broken?
Sent from my SM-G900T using Tapatalk
Holy hell. How different is this build from the one in the international section that kind of works on the 900T? Either way, I'll try it. The only reason I stopped using the other one was because calls were buggered and at this point in time I actually need my phone to work all time. Normally, I don't use the phone functionality at all. Also, sensors on other build were messed up: compass, gyroscope, etc.
I'll report back if no one else does before me.
Downloading now will report back I'm in LTE area and rely on hotspot and LTE so will deff be testing those right away
Any Screenshot available? Thanks
Nice, I will check it out too and report back, just excuse me because it might take a day or so because it is late here and I have work tomorrow.
Question > Is Tmobile WiFi calling enabled on this build?
I noticed someone mentioned it a few post back but did not see an answer.
If no answer by the time I flash I will report back, being that I use this option 90% over data.
Thank you.

Well got it up and running on sm g900p with no issues I did not get any fc at boot. I wiped then installed ROM and gapps provided.. once it boots has lag as with other aosp roms for s5 but it does speed up to normal.. Vibrate works also I did a test call all seems well LTE is great I haven't hooked to PC to test the file transfer WiFi hotspot works great. I applied a theme with theme chooser working as should there ..DSP works I couldn't get it to work on carbon.. Over all a great DD for ones like myself not focus on cam I rarely use but does come in handy when its needed ..all in all great rom:victory:

Along with rotation, I'm pretty sure GPS and other minor sensors aren't working. Open up GPS Status or something similar and you'll see. On the Carbon based build for intl, compass didn't work. Try using navigation and you'll instantly notice a problem if compass/gyroscope aren't working. I haven't restored any other apps yet.
