[Help] in M´rage ROM

Hello, I had a problem connecting the WiFi on M´rage rom. As I have Darktremor script I thought it might be it, but after reboot it worked.
Did someone had problems with WiFi on this rom?

unexpected WIFI issue

I'm having a wifi router at my home but my phone is not stable with that connection.I have a 4X n Laptop which connects to the same connection stably.
my phone when connected to anyother network is stable as i tried in my friends place it was stable.
i dont know why it is unstable at my home
If anyone of u can help me plz with some idea or the only idea i have is to change the router??

Have you tried to change the base band by any chance....this can also be one of the reasons....

never tried changing the baseband!

Which rom and kernel are you using? And what are your settings in the Kowalski manager (in case you use pengus kernel)

[Q] Internet not working after flashin Cyanmobile [20/02/2013]

After flashing the cyanmobile X rom (latest official one) my internet stoped working. No data over mobile network (yeah checked the APNs and all) and no internet over wifi either. It connects to wifi but simply no internet. I did a "ifconfig wlan0" which showed that it had the dhcp ip assigned by my router. The problem is not with the router because other android devices are working just fine.
Any solution to this? please help!!

Change baseband. If this happens after a clean install, baseband is the only possibility I know about.

umm how do I change the base band? what values should I set in?

[Q] Accessing WEP Protected Networks

Hello guys
My university uses a WEP protected network and I noticed that with the stock 4.xx roms, I can access the network. When on custom CM roms however, only Werewolf kernel (tested v7, v8 and v800b) works with my university's network. Other kernels (stock CM, OPrime/Play, Iodak) cannot connect. Is there a way to add the WEP functionality to these kernels since Werewolf appears to have the ability to do so?

I believe WEP isn't officially supported anymore due to security issues. I'm not aware of any solution unfortunately, so there are three things you can do now:
1. Use the kernel that worked.
2. Downgrade
3. Point out to your school that they need to update their Wi-Fi network.

You think that this problem have something to do with kernel?
I am using latest iodak kernel and zaiben rom,
Today I also noticed that my phone dont want to connect to wep network.
Maybe iodak have a solution...

I asked this same question like 5 times in 5 different threads, only werewolf kernel can connect to wep OPEN and none other kernel. But with WEP shared all kernels can connect, and yes it's a KERNEL issue.

No problem connecting to WEP with stock rom and kernel.

Ad hoc networks

Has anyone got Ad Hoc to work in the latest android versions?
Im using 4.3 Mokee rom and i already tried to change the wpa_supplicant but all i can find are old versions of wpa_supplicant which are smaller than the stock( 600kb vs 100kb) and dont work.
Any suggestions?

Using tonyp's CM10.2 with the new wifi driver and I don't have Adhoc networks either. Judging from what I read around here more people have problems and can't make it work. It might even be the reason that wifi tethering is not working in the newest ROMs?!?
Did you try CM10.2 build 26 with Kowalski kernel M1, I think it should work with that combo. Hope that helps.

Thanks.Ill try that later.Probably it doesnt work on 4.3 but there are reports it works on our phone with gingerbread. As a last resort i will install gb as dual boot.
