It's real but the battery cover sucks and is prone to breakage.
The battery reading on the Xperia is also innacurate too so it's impossible to tell when your X1 is out of batteries because it lacks the battery drivers for the battery.
Here is my review:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=514461
This kind of battery has been talked before on the forum.
In my opinion what sounds too good to be true IS too good to be true.
And as a fellow xda user said...I wouldn't trust a company making products for someone else, who doesn't even know how to SPELL that company's name (see photo : Sony Erisson)
Plus...you may risk f..ing up your phone if the battery overheats or smth else...
BUT, that's just my take on things
.edit.
WOW...while I was writing my post.... there were 3 others that posted meanwhile ) LOL
Anyway big thumbs up for poetryrocksalot with that review.
Btw...my X1 lasts about 6 hrs in mp3 playback (as opposed to 8hrs in that review). PLUS my P1 also lasts 8hrs in playback (with 1120mAh)
oh wait..... how ugly... the battery has a larger physical size and so a replacement rear case is provided to accommodate.
how very very ugly..... lol
@poetryrocksalot: what?!!?!?! I searched the forum for "3600" before starting this thread. This forum's search sucks....

mugen battery is a very professional company, their products are as exactly as reliable as the OEM product of Sony Ericsson.

You didn't search the accessories forum.
I suggest you talking to me now and asking questions before you order.
nah i'm not gonna order. instead i asked them if they are planning on releasing an enhanced life battery for the toshiba tg01 hahaha. but if they can't make better cell/electrolyte density, and have to increase the physical size instead, then forget it!
@poetryrocksalot : I know who Mungen is but as you wrote yourself, everything about the packaging says otherwise. I wasn't trying to mislead or give weird advice...but why would I buy something that's presented in that fashion?

I praise the battery for lasting way longer than I expected. And with a battery with this kind of long lasting charge, I can tell that the battery is not very likely to leak or explode. Otherwise you know the battery will have a problem if it does the opposite.
I used a Mugen Battery in my old Axim x50v years ago, worked real nice, Mugen seems to be a company that knows what they're doing.
Now that I think about it, I might actually order the 1800mAh-battery...

It will last longer, but not very long. You can't rely on an compacted/standard battery.
Hello!!!
I was searching in ebay and i found this:
[link] http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....sPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en#ht_2218wt_1139 [link]
I was thrilled at first 2430Mah!! It could't be.. However i thought that there may be drawbacks.. If anyone knows more can he tell me if to buy one?
Something else. If the battery is fake could it break the phone?
Thank you for you time!!
Buy it.
Made in Japan with 2 year warranty. Looks good to me.

You might want to head over the accessory section and do just a little search, you should learn a lot about this battery, there is a full hread with feedback already waiting for you ...

Just got this battery, took ages to charge (a good sign), so far the battery is performing really well, early days tho yet, lost 20% charge at work today, normally, its at least 30 - 40%

These batteries have been shown before to have far less charge than advertised. it might even be less than the stock battery...
Never trust the advertised mah unless its an official battery or if someone has done real testing on it.
The seller doesn't have a very good feedback for his batteries so I would avoid!
These batteries are made in China, they have had the Japanese writing added because people think Japanese cells are better than Chinese ones and they will sell better, stay away they are bu11sh1t.
Also if you are interested its impossible to fit 2430mAh of cells into the same formfactor as the original battery.

exactly. at least with current tech. we do have an official 1800mah battery that fits (actually its from SGS2 epic 4g) but even that is .5mm thicker.
2430 is 62% more than stock.

Generally these batteries are of very bad quality and slowly slowly u will start noticing battery life getting low and low day by day. Buy one which has many reviews and are all good. And buy one which is made by a renowned company . Search about any company you buy from, at Google.
P.s. Buy from a Korean company.

I highly doubt you will get the usage that it's said to bring. These cheap batterys are often dangerous and will turn out to be worse than your stock battery. Trust me if you value your handset I wouldn't use one of these.
Warninig - fake.
First of all: the weight: original SGS battery is 34g. So, if replacement experimental platinium super-hyper 3000Giga Ah battery will be lighter - it's a fake. And, it IS lighter.
Second, this and similar issues are and were widely discussed in Accessories:CLick and Click 2
Third, as you may see, both referred by me links contains the DIFFERENT ebay seller who:
- changed his eBay nick from ecell_accesorize to e_cell;
- in both cases is claiming that his stuff is located in Manchester, UK
- is completely untrustworthy, as he buys his eBay feedback. Please take a look on Buying eBay feedback announced thanks to NiTroGenious
- please read carefully both given by me threads. You will find that there is commonly negative feedback from testing: the positive feedback in relation to 1939mah battery was given by... none, and in case of 2430mah battery thread, the positive feedback was given by peoples referring to 1800mah PolarCell battery only.
Looks promising? Interested to waste your monies? Well, you're welcome then

@xchasa: have you realised that the last pages are referring to COMPLETE DIFFERENT, 1800mah battery from GERMAN ebay AND original Samsung batts?
wow
Thanks on this i did not now all this about that battery u saved me too!!!thanks man
i really search a good battery which one is a good from this?
Hey,
I purchased a battery on Ebay for like 8$.
Shipped from Germany and claims to be genuine.
My tests:
Weight- Old genuine battery 33 grams, New battery 35 grams.
The stickers probably weigh a little bit so the battery supposed to weigh even less than 33.
Voltage- Old is about 4.078V at 100% charge, New is about 4.123V at 100% charge.
I don't really see a huge improvment in battery life although my old one 3.5 year old one.. Yet it's not worse for sure..
The old one has to be genuine since I got it with my device from a big cell phone provider store.
I uploaded pictures of them both. My old one (with stickers on it on the first image) and the new one (with the "original" sticker).
Thank you.
PS: scanning the QR on the old one gives "GH43-03441A+EB575152VU".
Scanning the new ones QR gives its serial number instead.
German quality should be good.

"Should be".. But how is it in my case?
The seller also sells these batteries from Spain too.. So I dont know how it's done and how "German" are they..
Anyhow they are made in Korea.. So it's doesn't really matters.
Do the states and looks seem ok?
i've already had 3 batteries, the stock battery, then a polarcell and now a Anker, and as far as i can see i need to recharge every evening, so i can't say the autonomy is improving!
However, since i run CM rom, i feel that the battery consumption is huge, whenever i browse the internet while on 3g!

Hey,
Thanks for the comment and trying to help.
But TBH I didn't really get the point in your words and how it answers any of the questions.
Hey,
The one thing that's really throwing me off here is in the 3rd to last picture, which shows the top of the battery - 3 small grooves instead of 2.
To compare and see whether there is any variation I did a check with both my S3 batteries and they're identical at the top. I can't get hold of my mother's Galaxy S right now so I can't compare how her batteries look (one was bought recently and the other was from 2010).
However I'm thinking that a genuine battery would look identical at the top as well.
Hope that helps, but someone with a better knowledge of these batteries will be able to tell you more.

Hi there,
I'm in New Zealand and my battery looks exactly like your original, made in china etc.
and has the 3 patches on the bottom edge.
your new battery looks close enough to me, it looks good, it fits the phone and it works.
the question I see is for $8 does it matter if its a fake?
(not really helpful in identifying a fake, just my opinion)

i've had my share of batteries, and they are all the same as far as battery life in real conditions is concerned!
The interesting part in your pictures is in fact the manufacturing date! Since it reads that it was manufactured in 2014, maybe the differences come from a manufacturing process that has changed (improved?) over time. At the very least you could consider yourself lucky that they did not ship you a 2010 battery, because i don't think batteries do age well.

Hey mate,
Did you mean "the buttom" insted of "the top"?
Because if you are talking about the picture with the buttom of the batterires where you can see 2 patches on one and 3 on the other, then it's the buttom of the battery.
The one with 3 patches is the original one and the one with 2 is the new one.
Thanks for your comment.

That's what I thought, that the proccess might have changed or something.. Maybe just different factories make different looking batteries (small changes)..
Who knows?
I dont believe it's going to explode or anything.. Unless it ain't as good of a fake inside of the battery..
Thanks again

Why is your battery so worn out? lol
And about the poor brod, fakes come in all kinds of shapes and qualities.. Who knows what kind of battery she bought..
Plus I dont think batteriess just tend to explode for no reason.. Extra heat would be a good sign for a risk of explosion.. As long as the battery is cool as the original and works as the original, I don't see any reason why it would do any damage.
I just want to find out if the battery is real cuz it's interesting to me. I wont throw it away if it isn't. It works just fine and cool.
Thanks

Why don't you simply ask the vendor to attach the guaranty of Samsung to the package. This is the only way you will know for sure if it is the real deal.
As far as i am concerned for things like that i always go for the real deal (i.e avoid Chinese products at all costs) even if it means paying an extra buck, because you know i don't have no spare legs!

I dont know.. I think that if Ebay sellers had any papers considering the battery they would add it.. I dont think they have any..
And all products are made in china.. Doesn't matter how much you pay for them.. You can't avoid it.
Again, batteries dont explode without a warning and genuine ones are not safe from exploding either..
The G2 is over 2 years old now and still kicking for a lot of us, but the battery life has gotten pretty poor. I think a lot of us would be interested in buying a new OEM battery (seems like it is the same for all models) but there's a lot of fakes out there.
If you know where to buy an OEM battery for a reasonable price please post here, maybe with price+shipping.

Have you found anything?I'm in search of a BN43 battery too and i have to say the whole subject is very confusing. For a start you can't really be sure that the so called original batteries are indeed original. There are more than enough excellent reviews about these but most people just "5star-ing" anyone that delivers the item on time and just 1 or 2 actually test the battery.
I heard Nohon is good too, but then i run into a review that says that it's almost as good as the original at start but then degrades rapidly in 2-3 months and its actually worse than the 2 years old original.
Also can anyone share with us how we can identify an original battery?I see some have the s/n in one row and others in two.Has it something to do with the identification of the originality of a battery? Can someone post a photo of his original BN43 or at least BN41 battery? Thanks!

Not sure. I did order a Nohon but haven't received it yet. I saw the good reviews of it but didn't know about the 2-3 month issue. We'll see. With accubattery app it says the capacity of my current battery is about 2800mah. With RR Pie and Franko kernel I'm getting more than enough charge for my needs. I didn't plan on replacing the battery immediately. I wanted the spare (Nohon) in case I wanted to replace it. I'll keep looking for an original if I can find a real one. I may end up getting the redmi Note 8. Not the pro since the pro is mediatek and I won't use one of those again since they don't release source code.

Just to make it clear by review i mean a buyers short comment for the battery.
2800 is too freaking low, maybe in 3-4 charges you'll get better result but i doubt it'll be more than 3300 mah.I think i'll go for an "authentic" and see what happens. Can you post a picture of your original battery since i can't be sure about my battery cause i bought the phone used.

Oh i see, waiting for results then!
I also found this one :

Don't have a clue about quality but seems more reliable than the others.
