I saw a thread in the S3 section and they have ported the Note 2 keyboard for i9300. Is there a possibility to do this for our i9305.?

have you tried flashing that on the i9305? i don't see why it wouldn't work.
i googled it and i found the APK, LatinImeGoogle_signed.apk is the filename, if you have any issues finding it let me know.
Worked great on my 9305!
It works as it is. A least it did 4 me... Im on pandoriam 3.6 atm. Dont know if theres a prob with the XXELKC roms but im just about 2 flash the new 4.0 rom. Will report back...

Hello and thanks to everyone for answering. Before i had a stock rom called xxali5 or something like that but wasnt able to run it. Now i just tried it with xxelkc and works fine. No probs yet.

Good work with this, great keyboard. Does anyone else have autocorrection with it though? I do like to have it on and I dont seem to have the option for it. Only an option to have it suggest words at the top.

I've installed the rom in title w/ update v0.7 but I still can't use the GPS (it says it's "temporarily unavailable"); I've already tried the FasterFix trick for writing the right gps.conf, but still no luck
Any suggestions for solving this problem?

When you say you "still" can't use it, do you mean that you were never able to do so before?
I really don't know what to say except that it works fine for me.
What is your baseband? (you can find it in Settings/about)

Iam on v0.7 too but with xxkpk as baseband on no gps issues!! May try to change or base too!

That baseband should work great for you.
I really don't know what is wrong, perhaps you can post a logcat for review?

I cannot see how that would help him since it's not one of the orig for his location.
He has the right baseband for his location.
Perhaps it's damaged, you can try to flash the baseband again and see if that helps (directed at OP).

This solved my problem! After the usual backup, I reflashed the bb with Odin. I really don't understand why on earth it didn't work since anything else was going flawlessly

Yeah I remember now, that was a big deal with that guy. Anyways, good ROM I liked the Job of that guy when he made ICS-Mod had really good battery life.
Did anyone flash this rom yet? I downloaded it really tempted to try.. but one question on the instruction:
"And you must flash a kernel" ... is that a manual process? or does it give me an option during the install?

manual process . Choose the kernel you like and install . Make sure you wipe delvik cache after installation of the kernel.

i have a s3 mini phone that has a very new model (g730a) that looks like nobody else on the internet has. there are no threads on this entire forum about this model number, and i am trying to downgrade the stock firmware, 4.2.2, to a very old firmware, 2.2 (froyo), is there any way of doing this? (this phone was bought from an at&t store) how do people even downgrade? where do they get their downloads from?
if there is "no way" of me doing this easily by downloading something, how can i do it myself?

why would you want to downgrade?
i just think froyo looks cool, and i see it still functions with the play store and that. i've heard of cyanogen mod or whatever it's called yet don't know what it is nor how to use it. i am brand new to this android world. was told that this site had everything
Device was not here when froyo was so you will never be able to downgrade. It came with jb, so that's what you will have.

Try the "one-click-root" that someone posted in general. It might work. Then you can take a look on what's inside, and maybe have a recovery built.

wow, that's disappointing. you can install windows 2000 on any computer yet can't do the same for a phone.

You CAN install any android version that is older that you want, but it isn't created for the device. So somebody would need to develop drivers for it to work on the particular version of android.
Short answer: No you can't do it
Long answer: It can be done but a skilled person would need to develop drivers to make it work.
In this day and age creating drivers to downgrade from 4.1 to 2.2 it's not worth the time it takes.

By the way, congrats.....i have been experimenting some roms 1/2 months ago, and your rom is the best so far for the others!!! App Grenify rules =D, can have tons of apps and they work all properly, the phone stills fast and no reboots!!!!

can you check smsc, becaus i cant send sms, i tried to change smsc via *#*#4636#*#* but having update error, i also tried to change smsc using "GO SMS Pro" but it still does not work. I tried using rom gingerDX with nAa-JB-06 kernel and i can send sms without problems.

Same here. Can't post on the your thread because 10 post limitation. but interestingly, i can post bug report there. Is this intentional or will be resolved by XDA?
Anyway, the bug report i submitted was about Tethering. With Faktory 2.0 & nAa-jb-06 kernel, USB Tethering and Wifi tethering with my laptop won't work. The problem is my laptop couldn't get IP Address from DHCP. Setting IP manually to 192.168.43.x with gateway 192.168.43.1 works.
Try with Yair Kernel and last version Faktory .

Already using Zyphon 2.0.
Flashed yair kernel (JB-0.3.ftf from http://yairpatch.com/blog/2013/10/yairpatch-kernel-for-xperia-x8/), and the issue is still there.

Try the miui forum, en.miui.com... There are solutions posted there, but about the italian language support, Im not sure about it as i always use english...

my Redmi Note 2 is on miui 7.1.1.0 stable, i have installed XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk, then use xposed-v79-sdk21-arm64.zip and xposed-v75-sdk21-arm64-MIUI-edition-by-SolarWarez-20151015.zip. Both don't work !?
There is a solution ?

With mi devices, I find the miui forum a better source... Don't ask there, just browse under your device name... Try every method you can find... You need to register, 'cause you might need to reply to see hidden contents.

Try every solution they posted in miui forum to see what works for you... It is best if you use a rom confirmed to be working with xposed...
