http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=35235194&postcount=16
Installation Procedure:
1. Use Odin or Mobile Odin for flashing firmware
2. In order to see the screen unlock shortcuts, you need to install CSC Selector.apk: http://yadi.sk/d/MylLdf1x18Tth and select the region BTU
(!) When switching from a different version of firmware before flashing should necessarily go to Recovery and do Wipe Data
( just be sure to flash the first kernel that is safe, such as last kernel from PhilZ-cwm6-XXLSC-XJB-3.73-signed.zip: http://yadi.sk/d/s2GyYML818UBC - put it on the external card and then flash it with Stock Recovery )

No, it is NO full wipe.
Yesterday i flashed the Deodex Version over my SLC JB leak.
Many of my apps are working, other needs only a new install and all data are present.
Till now i can say: this one is the best SLC ROM around.
Lightning fast and smooth, anything works.
For me is the working MTP modus very important, i hate the many clicks to accesss my phone in Windows explorer in USB mode.
USB mode is sh...t.

Mobile Odin needs root. So, if you already rooted, yes, you can.
But you can install any stock firmware with Mobile Odin. Not only this.
This is a good and easy way for non rooted users who wants root in their devices.

To unroot, flash the UnRoot-i9001-signed.zip
To go back stock recovery, flash the 9001_stock_recovery-signed.zip
Don't want to do all this, simply download a stock ROM that suit your region and flash with Odin 4.43 or upgrade your firmware by Samsung Kies.
All of the information you can get it from the Wiki page
Search from there I think all the information that provided in the wiki page is more than enough and easy to understand.

Have you search in SamMobile Firmware?I found one,it have same PDA as you and the build date is September 2011,for more information you can check in SamFirm page.BTW,here the download link : http://www.hotfile.com/dl/156719871/41e0c70/I9001XXKI2_I9001SEBKH1_SEB.zip.html
I found it, but the CSC is not the same. Btw is CSC important to be the same?
I don't know,i still new to android & samsung rom.I think PDA is more important:silly:btw, only this rom has have same PDA as your.
CSC is the Country/Carrier Specific Code (not sure exactly which it is, both kinda make sense). It contains the files for customisation for specific networks, so will have the APN settings, maybe custom ringtones or backgrounds, and can have programs too. Some CSC files contain a lot more than others, hence the file size differences.
Mixing different PDA/PHONE/CSC files is certainly possible, although it might be best not to stray too far on the PDA and PHONE side. The CSC isn't really very important in most cases - at worst you'll probably just have to set up the APN manually

I didn't check the option because I do not use Philz Kernel right now. But this option is used for preparing your device before installing a new ROM. So I think you removed the old one with the options but didn't install a new custom Rom, right?
Try to download any Custom Rom here in the forum or a Stock Rom from sammobile.com and install it. Then everything should be ok again.

On sammobile.com there are three different version (depending on your mobile provider): globe, smart, sun. All with DXLR5.
You can choose and download yourself here (please change the option to the one you need).
More easy: download the right one from Dr. Ketan's thread here.

Just for the next time. When you use clean for a new rom,
If formats the system and data. That means you are not left with any rom on your device. So it will not boot.
You should have loaded a rom you want to flash in to the phone and installed it after that option you selected.
---------- Post added at 09:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:19 PM ----------
And hopefully hot file won't let you down at about 90 %
Also if you have already downloaded a custom rom to flash you can tilldo it by mounting the usb storage from recovery

Hi guys,
the noob strikes again! :silly:
Well I want to flash stuff but I have some doubt on how to do it. For example on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2219250, theres three choices of download, Recovery tar, Recovery zip CWM and Recovery image. So does it mean I can flash it on whatever way I want?
Same happens in the Perseus Kernel thread as there's a tar version and a CWM version.
Sorry for the noobness but I prefer to ask than to do something I'll regret!
Thanks in advance.
You've got 3 options because we've got 3 most popular methods of flashing:
1. Odin - uses .tar files to flash
2. Mobile Odin Pro - can use .img files
3. Custom Recovery - CWM .zip files

You don't need to delete the old gapps, just flash the new over the old. Just make sure they are the right gapps. Usually the dev has a link in his thread.

From Omni ROM thread:
Installation
Download the ROM from the link below
Download gapps for 4.3 on http://goo.im/gapps
Put the zip files on your SDCard
Reboot on Recovery
Wipe Data / Factory Reset
Select "Install the Zip from External Storage"
Choose Omni zip file
Choose GApps zip file
Reboot to system
It can be installed from stock recovery.
But after that, if you want to go back to stock you will need to flash stock firmware with Odin. You have guide for Odin in Developer section of our forum.
P.S. Oh, you are on GB still. I will post you guide to go to JB first.

How to downgrade: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2195673
You have I9070 not I9070P? If that is right, than you can use this method.

Do you have NFC and 16GB internal memory?
I think XXLK2 is I9070, and not I9070P. It probably is written on phones box too.

Oh, ok.
Code model: GT-I9070
You have non-P version. So when you download JB firmware use only I9070. Do not install I9070P firmware.
