Has anyone experienced this issue when someone calls your phone: the caller hears your phone ringing (but your phone does not ring) then the caller hears silence then the caller hears your phone ringing but this time it rings?
So the sequence is: ring, stop (silence), ring.
It's been happening on my wife's stock unrooted i9305 but only when wifi is on..

it happended once yestarday, after i rooted and flashed a 4.1.2 rom, and then it was ok after that,
basicly, my rang my phone which was rooted from the house phone and i could hear it ringing but on the rooted phone it acted like nothing happened, no miss call no ringing alert nothing i was baffled, so i rang it again, and it seemed to be ok after.

Yip it only happens on my wife's unrooted phone. It happened once or twice on my custom rom but a simple reboot sorted it out. It also happened to me when I was on Samsung stock firmware. But the weird part is that it only happens with wifi on?? With wifi off it rings normal..
Hi there, has this happened since to you?
It seems to happen intermittently on my handset. Dunno if it is rom, kernel or modem related? I doubt it's rom related cos it's happening on both Pandoriam and WanamLite roms.

I have noticed that im unable to swap calls. Meaning, if im on a call, and i get another call, if i switch to that call, when i switch back, i will hear nothing. Though the person ont he other side can hear me. Im using cingular/att. Anyone else experiencing this?

Working fine for me ...
hi guys, ever since i got my phone (and rooted it and rommed it the next day), i have always randomly heard beeping noises when im talking.
it sounds like an incoming call but there is nothing that shows it.
anyone have a solution to this?

By any chance did you enable the minute reminder for outgoing calls?
that was the first thing i checked. the minute thing isnt on. it sounded exactly like an incoming call. but it wasnt
humm.. can you give more details on which ROM and Kernal are you on now ?
did you install any other apps that would interfere with your calls ? dialer , etc ?

dont have any apps that would interfere with the calls. all the apps i have installed are generally monitoring apps and some games
Strange thing is happening to my phone.
Sometimes when i start the call, phone don't even ring in speaker. Suddenly i hear person with "eeej haloooo"
Same thing when somebody calls me.
Using only 3g2g network mode.
And have flashed G800FXXU1ANJ2.

Delete everything in cwm
Install again anj2 and voila... working just fine
I suffered from the silent phone calls in the past, but it was fixed with a HTC patch and everything was good... for a while.
I flashed ARHD90.1 on the day of release and it has been good.
However, just today when I go to make phone calls, I only get silence. No ring tone, no voice when the call is answered.
Is anyone else suffering from this issue recently?
Are there any solutions to this now?
I'm currently on the Android N preview. During a call i hear a "Beep Beep" every ten seconds(Sounds like call waiting). Is there a way to stop this sound? I've checked the phone settings and call settings But I don't see anything that addresses this sound. Any one else have this problem or annoyance?
I'm using as daily driver, and I didn't hear that sounds.

Yes..it's odd. I was on a call..no beeping. Received another call,clicked over..the sound started. I then ended call..called back no sounds. It's random..
Beeping is often a sign that the call is being recorded, no...?
I get the two beeps just before a call is initialised. One low pitch and second higher pitch right after. Usually happens at 2 locations in the City of London. Doesn't happen anywhere else!
Beeps on stock ROM and also on Pure Nexus r22 rom.

Had this happen to me for the first time yesterday, after switching from one call to another. It stayed active, even after I hung up both calls and made another one. Fixed on reboot.

I had multiple calls today with no beeping. Same callers as before. I'm just wondering what causes it. It's more of an annoyance than a problem
