No, you may brick your phone, choose firmwares only for S6500
S6500 kernel is compiled with nfc option enabled and that's not the case for s6500d according to me it may be not brick your phone but you can't use nfc.

Yes, i did and it works just fine. After that i installed the cyanogenmod and it works fine

As far as ICS custom roms are concerned, i dunn think its works. Mine also nt working. Maybe touchwiz roms supports kies.. Not sure. Im on AOKP

i try Chrack´s ICS 4.04 and not work
i try now CLASSIC ROM V1 not work with kies
now i try Criskelo V10
it's great and work with kies
but the new videos on 4.0.4 not in the rom
any way to add things on room to support kies ?
anyone can share MOD or something ?

If you want kies then flash stock rom

I have rooted my girlfreinds galaxy mini and put link2sd on it as I have it on my galaxy ace but doesn't seem to work for her phone how can I make it so she can install as many apps as she wants to she is on stock firmware and rooted no cwm but .......she is willing to let me flash custom Roms if necessary thanks

I think you should find her a custom ROM that support app to sd.

Hey guys! Well as the title says...is it possible to use i8190 kernel on L version (i8190L)?
I've seen around another thread a guy who was using i8190 kernels on his i8190N (NFC version) without problems...i would try it but i want to make sure if my phone can be bricked or something like that :silly:
Dont think it would hard brick your phone.. Maybe a soft brick were you would have to reflash csc,code and pit files via odin...

I fleshed SuperNexus 3 Bulid 1 ROM on my GALAXY Note GT-N7000 and now my WiFi not working and can't connect to any wireless router. Please help me. I don't like to downgrade to JB 4.1.2 again
I haven't used SuperNexus for quite some time now. But what you could try to do is to reflash the ROM after a clean install (formatting /system /data /preload) cache and dalvil cache, all while on a safe kernel. Another suggestion would be trying different modems.

First, I flashed SuperNexus 4.1.2 and everything was OK. Then, I flashed SuperNexus 4.2.2 and finally 4.3, but Wi-Fi not working. When I see the screenshots of other users with this ROM, it seems that they haven't this problem and this issue isn't reported. Is this problem related to my kernel?

No. On the current ROM everything is perfect.

What exactly doesn't work with your WiFi, doesn't it turn on and can't connect to your AP or you can't switch it on at all?

My Wi-Fi turns on, but does not show my wireless network. On 4.2.2, by using the WiFix application I solved this problem and changed my country code, but this solution does not work on 4.3.
Hey guys I'm new here. Can anyone tell me what is the best Modded ROM for s3 mini that has no issues? I read about maclaws works and the only problem is It has no instructions how to flash it. I am not very good at flashing and I'm afraid to brick my phone.

If your phone is rooted and it has cwm or twrp just flash the latest maclows rom reboot then flash gapps but dont forget doing full wipe before flashing,but my personal suggestion use custom base rom like lite rom by sonin and faust rom because if you use cynogenmod it will lose some cool feature of samsung like smart stay,flip to pause,acces status bar inthe middle of the game.For now I use faust v1.5 rom
