Ics folders .??

Hey guys, I am on cm7.1 . I wanna have ics folders on my phone wothout using go launcher ex. Is it possible? How? Tried to seaech on google and xda, with no joy. Hence posted.

how about ADW Launcher EX? I'm not sure if this is what your looking for but it has ICS style folders.

Yes,use ADW launcher EX ,it's fast ,smooth and it has ICS folder .

Yeah I am currentlly using ADW laucher with an ICS theme, and that has ICS style folders, but you don't get the 'drag and drop onto another app to create folder' feature. Default theme for the launcher won't give you ICS style folders.

Also when u create a folder, u don't get to see the apps inside like ics. U just see a circle.with nothing in it.

Nova Launcher is exactly what you're looking for, search it in the market

Use the new version of adw ex.
It has what u need.

Install Go Launcher Ex and launch it. Now use link2sd or es file explorer or any root uninstaller to delete your existing launcher.
NOTE: DO NOT delete your current launcher before installing the new one

3D live wallpaper? Do you mean the Live Wallpaper system application?

Rom AceCream V1.4

i dont see the enable or disable button in any menu.
if i use a stock rom and stock kernel +fw i see this button and i can use a LWP.
help me pls. if problem is a FW , Kernel ,ROM or any other?

In addition to what saeed14i said....i would like to suggest that you convert your newly installed Go Launcher Ex to system app....you should have atleast one launcher as system app and as you're deleting the previous one, this is safer....
As far as the live wallpaper problem is concerned.......

Request: Stock Launcher theme ICS/Jelly Style

Hello everybody,
first of all i want to apologize for asking for it. But i definately can not do it myself.
I´m just looking for an .apk theme for stock Optimus UI which replaces the app drawer icon with the stock nexus style one,
cause i don´t like the default ones. That´s eveything i need, all the other desktop icons can be changed via Optimus UI launcher.
So if anyone has the same interest and likes to do something like this i would be more than happy.

Nova launcher or apex launcher

There is an app in lg smart world by it you can download themes for the stock launcher , made by lg .
I don't remember the name maybe "theme box" or something like that

Hy, thanks for the hint with smart world. I'll have a try and log in. I have holo launcher hd on my phone, but not running cause i'm not rooted and can not use the widgets tab.

I replaced few icons from LG_Biz theme, root needed cause you have to replace system app.
12 icons replaced.

Are you rooted? If yes, just copy and replace original file via es file explorer or total commander to /system/app
If you're not rooted then you can't install it.

Yeah i know, but unless i am not rooted i can not use widget drawer to place widgets on homescreen. It will be possible when we get jelly update till end of march (i hope/want to believe). But i really favour stock launcher so i think about root and have a try with this custon biz theme.

Well, not entirely true, you can still use the Widget drawer, cept it's going to be the Gingerbread style one. But yes, in order to have a true stock ICS or JB experience I guess we have to wait till LG updates roll out.
If you don't wanna root. I sure don't. Not yet atleast.

hi guys, i want to make my first rom cyanogenmod based , i want to install apex launcher removing trebuchet from the flashable zip. when i replace apk from System/app , i install my cyano but it doesn't start. can someone help me please ??? thanks :fingers-crossed:

You have to name Apex the same as the CM launcher has in system/app

Just install Apex and make it default. I suppose that Trebuchet is integrated with CM, so you can't remove it maybe (you will have problems if Trebuchet.apk is missing I guess).

I froze it in TB and made nova launcher default and only one.
No problems, except in settings-homescreen I get nova settings and I lost crt off effect upon lock.

last time I deleted trabuchet from system/app and made apex as a default launcher. but got bootloop that time

From CM team, confirming my method.

I prefer Apex launcher but you need least Android 4.0.

and without root there's no other way to get 4.0 , i guess

Try KitKat launcher 4.4, it's better than the Google one.

For sure, the new kitkat launcher is smooth , light and more efficient than previous 4.3 or less versions.

Yeah, you are right. Go to settings-->> about phone-->>
There you find info about your phone. Also some five letters name of firmware, for example: "XXJVT", "DDJUT" etc.
Find the CF-Root for the specified firmware and flash using Odin. Now, you have rooted your device and install the ROM you want.

It's amazing how android is powerful, even dead we always can resurrect the system

I think that it is difficult to find a launcher for android versions below 4.0. For the best like nova or apex you have to upgrade to CM9+.
