After installing the new XXLRC update for my Galaxy Note, it appears when I open S Memo there is a notification saying that the S Memo has been retired to move into the improved S Note. The S Memo application then disappears from the menu.
S Note didn't import the S Memo files
I had some important files in the S Memo how can I restore them? And why is the S Memo app retired??
The S note should ask you to import S memo files on its first run
Agree.
It shld ask u. My friend s memo imported well on first change to note

Is there any S5 Dialer and Contacts flashable zip that is compatible with our Note 3 yet? I flashed one that was made for the S4 and now my contacts apk crashes when I tap on a name and my calls crash when I dial a number. Hopefully someone can make it compatible with our Note 3.
Or if you have a flashable Stock Dialer and Contacts zip for the Kit Kat Note 3, I would be really grateful as I can't view contacts or call anyone.

Has anyone with a Galaxy S5 (using the stock Messaging app) had a problem with responding to SMS text messages from their watch? For me, I'm given the option to reply, but as soon as I do, it just shows the green circle with the check mark and says replied. No voice typing prompt ever comes up. Has anyone found a workaround? I really don't want to use Hangouts for SMS, or any other texting app for that matter, because the stock app integrates very nicely with the S-View cover window on the phone. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Workarounds?

Hello,
I have had a first gen samsung gear since it came out. Just got my G watch R and loved it. I have a galaxy note 4 edge phone, and noticed right away that when i get a text message I cannot open it on the gwatch. I am using the samsung stock messaging app... is hangouts really the only way to view a text? what other apps work, or I would prefer if there was a way to read my samsung messages.
WearResponses works with any messaging app. That would be your easiest option. It would allow you to read and reply to messages from your watch.
I have a HTC One M7 GE. The stock Google Messaging app works fine with Wear.

Thanks for the reply. I tried wear responses but that caused some additional issues.
I am now using google messenger, not the google hangouts and it appears to have what i need. I just need to leave the samsung texting environment.
I have a Samsung S2 watch that receives notifications from the Google messaging app but I can't customise quick responses, as this seems to be tied to the Samsung messaging app. So the editing option is missing from the Samsung Gear app. I've tried downloading an apk for the Samsung messaging app which installs but won't run. Any ideas how I might get this to run?
I have a oneplus 8 pro, and I am disappointed that I can't receive messages nativley on my watch. I was wondering if there was a port of Samsung Messages, that I could install on my Oneplus 8 pro, so I could get the full compatibility? I am fine with switching my default messaging app, I just want my watch to work.
(And yes, I have tried pulse)
Another alternitave is porting android messages over to tizen, but I have absolutely no idea how to get an android app working on the galaxy watch 3 :/
The way you should think about it is not how to get an Android app on the Galaxy Watch, but how to make an app for the Galaxy Watch which will take data from Android Messages (or whatever app you prefer).
The term I've seen on Samsung Developer guides is "Tizen OS app on the watch with Android app companion on the phone".
Another approach would be to reverse-engineer how their Galaxy Wearable app works (and possibly Samsung Messages) and code some sort of app which will take your data from whatever messaging app you prefer and send that as a "fake" Samsung Messaging app to your watch.
