Hi, as the title said, I'm looking for a mod to wakeup screen with volume rocker buttons for TX. I've searched and results are from other phones, not T or TX.
Thanks
Hello,
Do you know how to deodex and odex back?
If yes you can follow my little guide in Xperia S section http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=33402201
I`m very interesting this question too, but without any odex, deodex. Is there any simple solution ?
Thanks Blackone, but the problem is I don't know how to do that. Is there any simple method?
See here
Good but it's not for stock firmware you need to odex back
Will work only on deodexed ROM or/and CUSTOM ROM

As much as I love flashing various roms there is one thing that bothers me about 2.1 roms and thats the slide to unlock screen after wake up. I was wondering if there was a way to disable this or cook a rom without this. i also noticed the way I usuall unlockother roms with a physical button doesnt work.
any help is appreciated.
kmobs has a menu unlock utility on xda
Wrong section!
Some ROMs have Menu Unlockers. XxKOHOLExX v2.4 has it.

Yes... kmobs utility is attached below. Install it with adb or a file manager from the market like astro.

Can anyone make, or tell me where i can find, an Untweaked, untouched, version of STOCK KKA that has been deodexed.
I have looked and looked guys, but i just cant seem to find a help guide on how to do it myself for the note and what tools id need and info on wether i have to do anything else after deodexing.
Im at a loss, if there was a version of kka out there that has only been deodexed and nothing else then thatd be great.
Any help or info would be much appreciated.

Here are all the stock N7000 firmwares http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/?page=3. You must register to download and flash with Odin.
For a deodexed version you have to google around, maybe you`ll find one. Good luck
deodex
that, not what i want tho.
Anyone know where i can find instructions to deodex a stock rom on this galaxy note, it seems like there is no untweaked versions avail,
So that being the case, maybe someone could make a tutorial on hyow to correctly deodex their own stock rom and use it

Hi,
I've been trying to learn how to root and mod my xperia TX but none of the forum posts seem to answer the questions I have directly, and so I was wondering if someone could clear up some things for me.
From my understanding if I want to install mods (such as the volume key to wake up):
1) I need to unlock my bootloader.
2) Root
3) Install a deodexed firmware and to do that install a custom kernel.
4) Flash the mod I want to install.
Is that process correct? Also, I'm using JB 4.1.2 with firmware 9.1.B.0.411, is it still possible to do the above tasks with that fw?
Thanks

Hello,
I have an HTC One with a Orange France ROM. I would like to get the swipe to awake "trick" on my device. I understood this function was available in a some of the custom kernels. I don't really need to change my ROM and would like to know what minimal and most simple operation I am supposed to operate on my device considering that I'm a newbbie....
Thank you for your help,
Greg
You can get it here. There are quite a few tweaks available, like adding functionality to the HTC logo at the bottom of the glass as well.

Yes but as a newbie I'd like to know what is the most simple thing to do considering that I am using an official Orange France ROM..... ? please...
thank you
Greg
No problem. Are you rooted with a custom recovery? If so go to this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2255160
It's about as simple as it can get. Seriously. I think you'll enjoy this kernel. Sorry for not adding the link before. I meant to.

Getting the Sweep to Awake (S2W is what they call it here) involves flashing a new ROM or Kernel. If you still consider yourself a newbie, you need to figure out how to do that first. It isn't particularly hard, just dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.
