yep it is working, I use stock modules, I just copied the version of kernel.

I leave it as stock, Cyanogenmod is only the best senseless rom faraway so close, but I like Sense.

EQS update removed flashlight.

Keep up the good work... I was wondering, is there a way to remove the "charging" status while charging the phone? Don't really think people like the floating battery on the screen at night.

I dont think so, but I like its function, I dont have to wakeup phone to see if battery is full.

How do you it since its an APK? Put in in root and fix owner and permissions?

in command prompt type "adb push systemUI.apk /system/app/" then "adb reboot" nothing else

If I want the battery to show % do I need to flash the extended settings or is it there by default on the rom?
Is there a way to get battery % without the extended settings if currently that is what is needed

Battery percentage is included in eqs, not sure on how to make it on stock systemui cause uot kitchen fails.

I was missing a few things on the Optimus 4X, and since there are no mods available at the moment I decided to make a few:
- Battery indicator 100%
- Flat black statusbar background

Note: This was made for firmware 10B or 10F! It MIGHT work on others, but I didn't try. So use at own risk AND BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL SYSTEMUI.APK!!
Installation: Download and extract the RAR-file. Copy SystemUI.apk into "system/app/" on your rooted phone with RootExplorer or something similar. Restart you phone. Some settings will be deleted when replacing the SystemUI-file (background, statusbar shortcuts etc.). Don't delete SystemUI.odex.

just a heads up.. u do know we got battery percentages as stock..? you just have to enable it.. why do stuff like this, and ruin the battery indicator:/ Never liked this kind of battery, its ugly:/ No offence.. id rather use the stock percent.

[MOD] Adding NFC support to ROM - Final

Hey Guys,
I've added NFC support to my phone (currently running Nameless 7.3.1). Based on similar threads for Samsung phones (e.g. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1822447), I have extracted the NFC libraries from my original NFC-enabled Desire C ROM (Orange France build 2.00.73.1) and I've made a flashable zip.
Confirmed working as I could read my passport information (scan back cover with NFC Tag Info).

settings.apk not working , NFC settings option is not
-I took settings.apk app folder manually. Settings does not work

Original settings.apk from my original NFC rom was just a suggestion to solve the issue, so that someone could mod it and make it work.

Well, I had forgotten to deodex the apk...
Please flash this file. It should work fine (enable NFC through Settings -> More).

cwm settings.apk.zip not working.

Push it to system/app via adb.

A dumb post. Just ignore it.

How to view if my HTC has got NFC?

There are properly some extra libs for NFC could someone send me the system image?

Confirmed working. Check 1st post.
In case of issues, double check permissions applied to /system/vendor/firmware/libpn544_sw.so which should be 644.

this patch include moded systemUI . so if u want restore previeos systemUI, u can replace your systemUI on the patch (with winrar) and flash new patch.

you can always pull graphic files from it and put in your roms systemui. don't forget to give credit where its due.

Yes it should work but you will have to manually delete systemui.apk and systemui.odex first then copy the modded system ui and change permission to rwrr

Ah i have seen some values located for the lockscreen, they are present in the SystemUI and/or framework-res.apk.
Well you first need to resize the images, and then do the XML work. I think most likely the size values may need to be changed in the SystemUI, but there may also be values hidden inside the lockscreen.apk files. When I have time i will look into some files for you.
