Jelly Bean OTA Available - Motorola Atrix HD

http://blogs.att.net/consumerblog/story/a7786139
Wifi only download.

I saw the same story but my atrix hd isn't receiving the update yet, customer support isn't even aware of it. Is the roll out staggered? I wouldn't think so given it's over wifi.

Nothing here yet.

try going Settings -> Application Manager -> (scroll over to all) Google Services Framework then hit “Clear data”
sometimes it takes 5+ times, at least with other phones

Please don't confuse Bell Mobility with AT&T, they are different carriers and will release at different times.

This is what I get for being impatient. I installed the leak and shortly thereafter the OTA is available. I did the system check and it said an update was available and it clocked in at 11MB. I’m in the process of installing the update I downloaded. Will advise if there is anything different with my experience.

I got nothin'...

I have an AT&T branded Atrix HD. I was unrooted, installed the JB leak and after seeing the article on Android Central the OTA was available I thought I would check and see for hsits and giggles. Everything seems to be working and running smoothly. I don't necessarily need root - I took a two month sabatical from Android and tried Windows Phone and even had the Lumia 920 for 30 days but ultimately came back to Android. If I have a few ads when I browse online and I cannot install some hybrid version of Cyanogenmod I'm not worried.
---------- Post added at 11:14 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:12 AM ----------
I could have gotten the update because I was on that leak - not sure if the source of the leak was the soak test from Motorola, etc. I just got this phone less than 48 hours ago through a trade. Loving it so far but hell if I know how development has been on this device.

It looks like it's AT&T only from what I can see. However, it's not based on your phone, but what carrier you are using.
I am currently using a carrier unlocked Bell Atrix HD on AT&T, and I received the update. It was actually 4.1.2, and the Bell version of the update.

I am using an unlocked att atrix hd on tmobile. so should i receive the update?

Not sure. If it really is based on the carrier you are using, then you probably won't receive an OTA update. Maybe find somebody who has an AT&T microSIM card, put it in your phone, and check for update. Then, after the update, put your sim back in.

Any change in speeds or voice quality?
Also, do you have any themes? I may flash this but I'm travelling to the US and don't want to kill my daily driver before I hit the road. Also the Stanley Cup finals are tonight and I don't want to be spending the evening flashing SBFs and resetting apps and settings.
Thanks!
no themes right now (didn't have them before as I was having problems.)
Internet speeds are no different (same inconsistent speeds I always have while at work)
Quadrant gave me 2369 with airplane mode on (compared to 2100 my last test on the french rom *note that test was done a couple of days randomly) voice quality seems fine, didn't have problems before though.

Because it is a list of current phones that will be upgraded. The D3 is a current phone that is not listed, which means it will most likely not be getting an upgrade. However, no one knows for sure
I'm not sure it indicates anything. The D3 isn't listed in the list below either where all of the other phones are.

This was my thought.. that top banner of text seems as more of a teaser for those who just purchased their bionic and razr to silence the people worried if their recently purchased phone is going to receive android 4.0.
The Droid 3 isn't listed on the page at all and obviously it exists.. so I don't think that upgrade page means a thing. I would assume those would just be the first to get it then other phones that are capable would have 4.0 implemented. Since the D3 is so similar, I doubt the bionic will receive 4.0 without the D3 being considered..
http://phandroid.com/2011/10/24/mot...-release-beginning-with-razr-bionic-and-xoom/
A few sites(check google) say that these lists are just motorola confirming which phones will get ics over the next few weels starting with the razr, bionic and xoom.

Has anyone noticed that only verizon moto phones are listed? That cannot be a complete list, what about the photon? The atrix 2? I highly doubt this is a complete list of devices that can be upgraded. This is just for hype, companies like to do this so people buy their phones for the upgrade. If this is the complete list, our beloved Droid 3 has booted ICS already so there is no need to worry.
I'm probably going to thoroughly ***** a verizon rep out. I'm not big on ICS to be honest but the fact that they dropped this, then like 10 other phones in the few months following is terrible business practicing. My phone shouldn't be obsolete in 2 weeks.
I may just drop Verizon and goto Sprint while it's still got unlimited data. Tho that would probably leave me with $600 in termination fees. Good thing I got credit growing from things bigger than Verizon?
Page obviously needs an update on all the new phones, looks like it's 6+ months out of date so it has no real relevant information for new phones at all.
We will more then likely get ICS.
-smc
That's technology. You don't wanna be outdated get an iPhone. With the overclocks, custom ROMs, Hash working on ICS, and everything, why wouldn't our phone keep up? I mean it's got the hardware to be current for a while minus 4G.

I wonder how long until the CDMA version gets it. It seems the CDMA GNex is the bastard child, and doesn't get the same attention.
You GSM GN owners can get the nice pogo pin dock off the Play store for $55. Us CDMA GN owners gotta go directly to Samsung and pay $90 for basically the same thing.
That's one of the major reasons I'd love to go get an SIII right now. All of the accessories work with all of the carrier's versions. Making the GN different was a mistake.

N7 3G No Longer Unlocked?

Does this mean the N7 w/ 3G will be locked to AT&T, and not available as an Unlocked Device? I certainly hope not!
Okay, Scratched that... Contacted Google Device Support (Actually Got an Intelligent Person this time) and they informed that it will be unlocked, and AT&T is only listed to let buyers know AT&T Service can be used on the Device. (and he hinted at a possible AT&T Data Only plan for the N7)

Scared me too...
but with my experience with Google Support is they are often wrong...
YOu can't even select it now. For me it takes me to a page where it says, "The page doesn't exist on this server" or something.
Remove the _att from the end of the link.
strangely enough the canadian version of those pages don't have that issue. In canada (and likely UK and so on too) it's still the old "unlocked" thing in the selection and it works like it used to with the american before the change.
It is available for sale yet? Neither _att or without it works with a purchase link .
The links are fixed now, but they're out of stock I think.

They haven't started selling yet, so it's not really OOS. Also, I've seen them change the links twice now. It's still slightly broken (ie: if you click on AT&T then 3G again, it gives you an error message about not available in your country).
Any second now.....and it should go on sale......hopefully....
---------- Post added at 11:33 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:31 AM ----------
In stock now in the usa!!!!
It looks like they already sold out, I managed to get in an order of the Nexus 7 w/ the ATT Sim Card, but the device said 'unlocked'. The strange thing is, if you're on the page where it gives the description of the Nexus 7 3G + ATT Sim Page, if you scroll down, you'll see a 3rd Card that lists "Nexus 7 + WIFI + HSPA" w/o the ATT Logo and if you click that one I see that it's "Not available in your country"...

One UI 2.1

I haven't install One UI 2.1 on my N960N yet. I was just wondering how it fares compared to One UI 2.0? As the most of you know the issue I had was with the Secure Folder and updating Wechat via Google on it.

well don't know about 960N but on my 960F so far its almost same as 2.0. only few new feature updates and the new deep sleep feature. all apps works well. no issue with secure folder aswell. so far i don't feel any battery improvements tho! im thinking of during factory reset and do a fresh start to see if that improves anything.
I just update my N960N to the latest version of Android 10 with OneUI 2.1 and so far it seems to have fixed some of the issues I had with the first release of Android 10 for the Note 9. Not sure about the Secure Folder as I have yet to test that.
