NEEDED: Xperia v "soundenhancement.apk" - Sony Xperia T, TL, TX, V

Anybody out there can upload the "soundenhancement.apk" from XPERIA V? Need this on xperia t.
Thanks for reply.

Anyone?

Have you tried dumping the system.sin and taking it from there?
Download an FTF for the Xperia V, extract the contents using winrar to a folder. Then use flashtool SIN editor tool and dump the data.
You will end up with a .ext4 image file, use disk internal (http://www.diskinternals.com/linux-reader/) to load the image, select the file you want (/system/app/soundenhancement.apk) and then push it to your phone using root explorer, remember to set correct permissions after pasting into the phones system/app directory, and reboot to enable / install the apk.
If any members have the xperia V, they can copy the apk using root explorer and upload it here as an attachment.

Is it possible to extract .ftf file in a folder.(like a zip or rar)?

I tried extracting deodexing T/V ROM myself and found that your requested file didn't work on non-V ROM. Walkman works though.

Im running a deodexed Xperia T (.223), the sound enhancement works fine.
ytrewqqwerty, the apk from the V won't work without changes on the T. A dev or someone with APK porting knowledge will have to create one.

However, I tried to use the Xperia t enhancements on Xperia s, they worked fine. I am not rooted.

I don't think that any tweaks needs to be done. The file can be found in "/system/app" folder. In xperia s, I have navigated there using a file explorer and tried to install from there. The file "soundenhancement. Apk" installed without any problem. So what's wrong with Xperia v?.

white balance apk from xperia zl update 16/03

hello guys
Many of us we were disappointed by the screen z especially those who expected to see the application of calibration directly integrated.
I then extracted the rom from xperia zl
setting for white balance
saturation : 9 and hue 220
brightness bar at 75%
and checked adapt to lighting conditions
and bravia engine deactivated
with this white value is 65k
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1_k4G10ZcOE&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Basic method
Download WB_........
Put this file into sd card
Reboot in recovery
Flash it and enjoy ( not flash this on stock recovery )
Alternative method ( thx gm007 )
1. Download the zip file in the 1st post of this thread.
2. Unzip the file.
3. Inside the WB_bymw1kaduxx972fixe\system\app folder, there is a whitebalance.apk file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\app folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
4. Inside the WB_bymw1kaduxx972fixe\system\lib folder, there is a libdisplayservice.so file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\lib folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
5. Inside the WB_bymw1kaduxx972fixe\system\lib\hw folder, there is a libdisplay.default.so file. You need to copy this file to your phone's system\lib\hw folder. Remember to set the permissions to rw-r-r.
6. Reboot.
7. Go to Settings -> Display and you should be able to see the White Balance setting.

Hi guys..For those of you who wanted or would love to have the sony sketch font for the xperia z, here's a simple editing in the system.
Make a back up just in case or obtain a copy by having a screenshot if you want to revert back to the default font on your system.
Let's start..
Now using root browser/explorer, go to system/vendor/etc/sytem_fonts.xml and press.
Press RB Text Editor
Edit name soma to roboto, SomaRegular.ttf to Roboto-Regular.ttf and SomaBold.ttf to Roboto-Bold.ttf.
Save and exit and then reboot. Simple and easy.
There you go enjoy your new system font.

@iamkani and @shehabskull
you can read @funky0308 tutorial and i will modified most of the steps are correct for decompiling but to decompile zip files it pretty different procedure as you cannot modify the .9.png without knowing the bordering in order to do that take any apk as example and copy resources.arsc , androidmanifest and res folder from android.zip to that dummy apk which has meta inf folder only nothing else and copy the said files and decompile that apk than only you would be able to modify the .9.png and @funky0308 method wont work for .9 png which has bordering its actually very easy once you get used to it and u have to decompile all the zip folder in the same way else you would not have perfect and elegant modification and for normal png @funky0308 method wil work

Alright, start by downloading ROOTBROWSER app [play store], and allow it superuser permissions
next you go into system>media here you will find bootanimation.zip this is the stock bootanimation, copy and paste into a safe place perhaps your external sd, somewhere you can remember.
next you copy the zip that i provided... take it into the same place... system>media DELETE you stock bootanimation.zip and paste fintest.zip
you can paste it as fintest, then delete stock, then rename as well.
next rename fintest.zip to bootanimation.zip and then change permissions (long press and permissions in the menu) change to RW-R--R--
you should be set. be sure to post whether you are successful in your endeavors or not

You can flash it, but it won't work when you get an actual call.

I see that in the Z1 forum there is an app that can be downloaded after flashing the file for the smart call handling. Would this option work in the meantime?

I tried it and the app is in the drawer and you can turn it on but still no reaction when receiving a call. Do you know what are the factors that limiting this functionality to just the Z1 and Z2 and not allowing the Z to make use of it?
Any update Jodus?
It seems like its dead here lol
